itt, people finally realize we are a war horse.

Took you long enough. Way back when....I was at war with your MoW and he wouldn't fight back. I PM'd him, and he responded with an "I don't care, destroy my nation, I'm quitting" message. He didn't quit, and in fact stayed in his job for quite some time afterwards. (It's probably for the best that I don't recall his name.)

So hopefully you'll at least understand where the sentiment comes from.

That being said, you guys are holding up very well. Kudos.

Pretending that some other poster made that comment, I don't think that many would call Polar's performance terrible. Went full speed ahead knowing they'd get clobbered, and the ratio is largely a reflection of that. And as pointed out previously, no matter whether you're on the winning or losing side, the nations declaring individual wars generally come out ahead, as a result of being able to hit at the bottom of their strength ratios...Polar hasn't had much relief, and consequently has been on the receiving end of most declarations.

I'm quite proud of our boys efforts. They get in and have a go, what more could I ask for.Schad's comments look pretty valid to me.

We do it so we can all mass in one strength range and get some relief. I for one can't wait until we all have 1k infra! :p

No but really, in the long run shedding our top tier will be good for us. Every alliance up there is allied and we will never break that. And there aren't too many wars left to preserve NS for, let's face it.

At the point there have been more wars where people claim there isn't much left to preserve their NS for than the other way around.

I don't believe I've ever said that before personally. But I do find dealing with updates very tedious when there isn't much going on politically here. Just my two cents.

It's almost like you're suggesting there's something random about war, and that it isn't a contest of wits, skill and genuine bravery.

(I agree, btw.)
