While I'd be fine with Smurf handling it, I'm not surprised that someone mentioned this, and I'm sure several people might agree with you. However, judging from the replies thus far, it seems the annual awards have lost any interest and/or credibility they may have once had, though I guess the naysayers always label it a popularity contest, which admittedly it must be to a significant extent. If nothing else, the annual awards serve as a decent guidepost as to the direction the winds of change have blown throughout Plant Bob's history, as we can track the winners, various reputations, and which AAs hold the favor of the majority (of active public forums users). At any rate, it's a tradition that I think is worth continuing, and part of that tradition is the accompanying heckling. Heh.
