I'm disappointed. You finally have yourself something you could have used to declare on NSO, yet don't do it? You want NSO destroyed, do it already. No one is going to do it for you. At least a tiny, insignificant alliance like Jarhead had the balls to actually plot against the #1 alliance at the time with the intent to harm. You only complain, moan and whine. If you actually did something, maybe you'll actually be taken seriously.

Allow me to educate you about such matters. All opinions stated around these parts - just as any other, are done so by a small yet vocal minority.

Funny... this minority voice is shared by not only the normal defenders of NSO, but also by those who are normally critical.

When you have both sides saying this was just a poor show... Perhaps you should reevaluate and just say sorry, we messed up.

I don't know how anyone could possibly* think that this is a declaration of war. Those people probably need a break from politics.

While I have some great friends in NSO ( o/ StarKrunk ) ...

1. One alliance being weaker than the other should not keep that alliance from listing its grievances with the other.

For example I bet half the people who are being critical of DF and SCM right now have trolled NPO during its hayday, and would never have considered actually declaring war, because NPO would roll them.

2. Being stronger than another alliance should not make it ok for you to be d-bags.

Considering that NSO has just threatened CSN for an OOC action, pertetrated by a single individual, we - the Dark Fist, are none too pleased with youwish or whoever else it was from the New Sith Order, who requested on a popular imageboard, and bumped the topic with pornography, asking that porn and gore be spammed on our forums.

Furthermore, I think the New Sith Order should be destroyed.

That is a DoW, you made your flimsy case and finished by announcing a DoW without acting on it. If I was in NSO right now I would consider myself to be at war and defend myself. At the very least I would expect a groveling public apology after this smear attempt. How you, as a leader haven't brought about the destruction of DF is nothing short of a miracle.

NSO cared to threaten CSN with war and then backed away from war...you know - when they remembered that they only fight wars where they outnumber the opposition by a lot.

While Starcraftmazter's argument has been inconsistent at points, I think that the logs produced in the opening post we're enough for me to call it a poor show. There is a line between having some fun and being an ***hat, and at times it seems as if NSO (among others) doesn't seem to have any idea where that line is.

I kinda see the point though, but certain parts of it simply appear to me as if a joke went too far into a malicious personal attack by members likely of NSO, although that is far different then attacks by NSO itself.

There is a line between having some fun and being an ***hat, and at times it seems as if NSO (among others) doesn't seem to have any idea where that line is.

Perhaps I'm reading different logs. What precisely in those logs constitutes a poor show?

The evidence present is obviously questionable but the time frame is more than enough cause for concern. I'll be the first to say that the whole "I think they should be destroyed" kinda made the thread more trivial than anything else (the thread could easily have stood alone without it) but you can't ignore that it is poor form from someone, and given the time line that someone likely resides in NSO.

Glad someone else is thinking the exact same thing as me.

Here was one opportunity for them to literally "Do something about it" and they basically turned it around and made a complete fool of themselves. I was rather hoping this would turn into a war, but no, I'll have to wait for next time..

So, your only real issue is the allegation that Starcraftmaster has no evidence to support? Speculating who did it and treating that person (and those in their alliance by association) as guilty without evidence is probably a better example of a poor show, in my opinion.

That is some snappy logic there. I'd have thought solid evidence was in order when trying to accuse someone of an act like that. I guess the burden of evidence is lightened when it is someone you dislike being accused.
