I feel like this is the best list so far, except despite my differences with Rok at the end, I do remember them being a very good ally for a very long time, so I might switch them with GDI or MHA or something. Some bad doesn't wash away all the good done. Also hello Hoo.

Indeed. Maybe it's a shame, maybe its not. One thing is for sure, the precedent was firmly set long ago and it's not coming back. However, that doesn't mean wars cant have meaning again. Meaningful wars don't always necessitate a firm CB. Real meaning, not petty thirteen year old emotional girl meaning like "so and so from alliance X said mean stuff on the owf 8 months ago and our entire alliance will never forgive them for it" or ridiculous path of least resistance wars because "lolwhy not". Things can have thought, reasoning, and true pragmatic rationale behind them again, very easily. Someone just has to do it.

There are slots in the lower range where GATO has people, as a poster above pointed out. However, I don't believe the "baiting" argument is very believable, as there are better connected people to use for bait as well as better ways to force a counter then doing something that literally has zero effect. That being said, I do believe it does have to be intentional, at least in part. With 83 members you can get more then 7 people to accidentally declare war with a badly worded mass PM.

Let me preface this by saying that I honestly don't really mean this in a disrespectful way, I'm legitimately curious and I have to ask since I know this isn't the first time you have performed like this and it's something that has always perplexed me. But what is the point? Why declare 7 wars? It doesn't provide any material aid to anyone who is fighting, nor does it actually damage anyone. I understand the "Hoo-rah! Ride to war!" posts are fun and all, but what is it for if there is literally zero substance behind it and you aren't actually riding to war in the slightest? I have to assume it's intentional since you have 83 members. Once again, I really don't mean to offend, I just know people usually feel like they are left scratching their head wondering why after you guys DoW and I had to ask.

I'm pretty sure my first war was the one where everyone hit GPA after the UJP War, war commonly called it something to do with Woodstock I think. The first one I actually have a memory of fighting though was War of the Coalition. Bill locked myself and TORN had to bail me out with aid. All of these seem like so damn long ago. Probably because they were.

I've been waiting to see this for a while. Every single Viridian should be proud of the work they put in to make this happen, as well as the fact that we stayed true to our values and did it the right way by not sacrificing preparedness for growth.

There is a pretty good argument against any position that treats them as an actual alliance. When viewed in the very best light they are ghosts, loud ones, but still ghosts operating under the sanction of a larger group. Can't blame GOONS for wanting to hold people responsible, and honestly I would hope they do.
