Khaborovsk, United Federation of the East At the First Congress of the All-Union Zeonic Young Socialist League A young girl of about 12 rises to address a stadium packed with young men and women. Red banners stream above the massed ranks of youth. "Comrades, it is my pleasure to introduce comrade Mikhail Volkov, Chairman of our All-Union Zeonic Young Socialist League and revolutionary guide. A uniform wearing man briskly walks to the stage, shaking the hands of various party dignitaries. His booming voice sweeps across the assembled ranks Dear comrade delegates, Dear members of the All-Union Zeonic Young Socialist League, This, the first Congress of theAll-Union Zeonic Young Socialist League is a major occasion in the life of the young people and in the socio-political life of the country as a whole. The Central Committee of our Party has commissioned me to convey to the delegates and guests of the Congress of the All-Union Socialist League and all young Zeonic Socialists throughout the country cordial greetings from the Socialists of the United Federation of the East and wishes of success in your work. polite applause History,” Marx wrote, "calls those men the greatest who have ennobled themselves by working for the common good; experience acclaims as happiest the man who has made the greatest number of people happy.” This ideal was embraced by the young Yuan Jia. Jia's impact on the destiny of mankind is immeasurable. The revolutionary reorganisation of the world, to which he dedicated his life, is similarly immeasurable. The age of the Great Revolution is justifiably known to history as the age of Jia. polite applause Representatives of the glorious multinational army of young fighters for socialism have gathered here. Today, just one year from the founding of our Young Socialist League, our ranks number in the hundreds of thousands. Perhaps in time for the second Congress our own dear leader, Yuan Jia, will be here to address us. shouts of encouragement Looking round this hall shining with young faces one cannot help thinking of what identifies you with the lads and young women who heard Jia and made a great contribution towards the victory of socialism and the defence of its gains. Like them you are utterly devoted to the cause of Zeonic Socialism, prepared for self-sacrifice for the common cause, implacable in your attitude to the imperialists and have the same sense of proletarian class solidarity with millions of working people throughout the world and in our own home. The tenants of our own Zeonic Socialist society are as simple as they are revolutionary. East Asia, from Australia in the south to the Arctic north, from Japan in the east to Turkestan in the west, is a strong, free, guiding light in the world. Gathered in our diversity, stronger still in our unity, it is the goal and desire of Zeonic Socialists everywhere to unite this vast land under the August Imperator, our heroic leader who, while adhering to communitarian socialism and meritocratic rule of the most able, guides and protects this nation. prolonged applause There is much work to be done still, but it was your parents who started the revolution and you, the young people of the United Federation of the East who will carry the red banner forward towards victory. stormy, prolonged applause May the solidarity, unity and cooperation of the United Federation of the East and the All-Union Zeonic Young Socialist League carry the revolution of our August Imperator forward into our new century! Let this be the century of victory, and let your generation be the generation of revolutionary fervor and victory! stormy, prolonged applause Long live the Revolution! Long live Imperator Jia! all rise, stormy, prolonged applause Mikhail Volkov
 2.
The government of Arctica formally congratulates Frederik Vorster on his accession to the post of Prime Minister, but among the public, questions have arisen as to whether the new government can maintain, or even wishes to maintain the relationship that the countries enjoyed under the tenure of Staatspresident Botha.
"It is my great hope to spread Transvaal's diplomatic relationships around the world. Naturally, we desire to have peaceful, mutually-respectful and cooperative relations with the governments of all nations. A major priority of the Government will be to further diplomatic relations with the world, while still maintaining the South Africa first ideals that I campaigned upon. I believe my election is a reset in foreign affairs. Maintaining friendly relationships and mending broken ones. We will move forward together." Prime Minister Frederik Vorster
 3. Frederik Vorster, an upstart Afrikaner politician belonging to the National Party has been appointed Prime Minister by Staatspresident van Haesten in the wake of the National Party's overwhelming victory in the 2011 election. Contested by Annetjie van Matteus and other National Party heavyweights, the Nationalist leadership contest was long, drawn out and brutal by most leadership election standards. Frederik Vorster, a former aide to Marthinus Hofmeyr was considered a long-shot candidate before surviving multiple rounds of voting. In the end, most analysts consider him a compromise candidate. Coming from a strong Afrikaner background to appeal to the Afrikaner base of the party, his Cape Town residency and fluency in English made him able to compete for Anglo-Transvaler votes. Furthermore, his previous proposal to transfer millions of rands to the Tahoe Nationalist Movement made his support among the Tahoan electoral bloc secure. After the neo-fascist and former Prime Minister, Annetjie van Matteus, was defeated in the third round of voting, the race was anybodies to win. Frederik Vorster surprised many pundits by coming out on top, though his endorsement by numerous organizations in the fourth and final round of voting all but ensures his political ability to push the National Party platform, so long as he sticks to his electoral promise to promote all white interests, including strong appeals to all four primary White electoral blocs: the Afrikaners, Anglos, Tahoans and Germans.
 4. According to exit polls by the Electoral Commission, most immigrants of the Germanic Union (who were granted citizenship immediately upon immigration to the Republic of Transvaal according to the Citizenship Act which grants automatic citizenship to all members of the White/Aryan/Caucasian ethnic class) supported the National Party. Most Transvaler-German citizens appreciated the strong commitment to nationalist/conservative values and a strong, active goverernment that pledged to continue the alliance with the Germanic Union. Political observers expect a German interest party but currently the National Party has a strong Germanic outreach program. A Martencist platform is supported by a large segment of the population but it is unknown whether a purely Martencist platform would hold up in direct elections.

 6. OOC: That sure is an interesting rendition of a Ulster accent. Throw in a few more "likes" and "ehs" and you'll have a good Cork one though IC: Classified The Transvaal Security Agency, after briefing the Staatspresident on the return of sectarian struggles in Ireland, received permission to attempt to contact the IRA, provide weapons, training and possibly covert operatives to assist in the overthrow of British authority in Ireland. Although anti-English Afrikaners have long held a dominant position in the defense establishment of Transvaal, the addition of former Tahoan officers to the military, intelligence community and upper level government catalyzed support for direct action.

 9. SAS Spionkop and SAS Bloedrivier comprising the Indian Ocean Squadron have been re-deployed to the Indonesian Archipelago to provide humanitarian assistance and assist in the evacuation of citizens of white-European descent from the secessionist provinces of the Zoadoe Islands who have implemented intolerable laws restricting the rights and freedoms of the white race.
 10. The term Coloured South African refers or referred to an ethnic group of mixed-race people who possess some sub-Saharan African ancestry but not enough to be considered Black under the law of South Africa (more mentioned below). They are mixed race and often possess substantial ancestry from Europe, Indonesia, Madagascar, Malaya, Mozambique, Mauritius, Saint Helena and Southern Africa. Besides the extensive combining of these diverse heritages in the Western Cape — in which a distinctive 'Cape Coloured' and affiliated Cape Malay culture developed — in other parts of Southern Africa, their development has usually been the result of the meeting of two distinct groups. Genetic studies suggest the group has the highest levels of mixed ancestry in the world. However, the maternal (female) contribution to the Coloured population, measured by mitochondrial DNA studies, was found to come mostly from the Khoisan population. Coloureds primarily speak Afrikaans but encompass a unique culture within Transvaal. Legally, most Coloured South Africans are considered citizens with voting rights unlike most Black South Africans who are citizens of either Botswana or Lesotho Territories and therefore not eligible to vote in national elections except for non-voting delegates.
 11. Classified With the SAS Majuba Hill, a Spionkop class multi-role frigate already escorting merchants off the coast of the so called Western Alliance as well as preforming secret intelligence missions with the small, stealth UAV's that were launched off its helicopter deck, the Ministry of Defense decided to position the SAS Leviathan, an extremely stealthy nuclear powered submarine off the coast as well.

Although the black community has higher birth rates and nuclear strikes on Pretoria and Bloemfontein which killed primarily whites, extensive immigration from Europe and North America has offset the growth in the black community. The Afrikaner population has dwindled to less than half of the white population primarily because of this immigration from Europe, most of whom are classified as Anglo's (irregardless of their nation of origin, except Germany which has its own national classification). Tahoan refugees form almost a third of the population of South West Africa province and have increasingly began moving inland to Botswana, encouraged by government programs to remove natives from their lands to open up territory for farming. Lesotho is the only territory that recorded no permanant white residents, while the Atlantic Ocean Territories recorded no black inhabitants. 16. It is EXTREMELY unlikely. That isn't the same as impossible and theoretically, it is possible. Since the tech scale in CNRP goes into the future a good 10-15 years, I'm open to the idea that some stretches on current science in this regard are possible.
 17.
Not sure if serious. In any event, the Soviets successfully did it in the 1970s using (more or less) the method I described (which is a run-of-the-mill procedure/concept). But as I said, I don't work specifically with viruses/bacteria, so there may be something I'm missing... but the fact remains that it has been done... forty years ago.
Yes I'm quite serious. 5 years working in biology research, 3 or so at a cancer research center. 4th year medical student and in a few months emergency medicine resident.
 18.
KaiserMelech called Zoot's RP into question and I provided some insight/clarification into the matter at hand. I actually work as a research assistant in a genetics lab at my university looking at developmental morphology/physiology and evolutionary gradualism (and punctualism where it applies).
I couldn't see anywhere where I especially disagreed with your explanation of why its theoretically possible to combine the two (though I personally doubt it actually is as explained, but I'm sure there is a way or at least will be a way in the next 10 years). Oh yeah, and I'd say I probably am the closest thing to an expert CNRP has in terms of bio-scientific research due to my background and profession. Ya'll know why
 19. This treaty is acceptable. Signed for the Republic of Transvaal Peter van Haesten Staatspresident Annetjie van Matteus Prime Minister Ratified by the Volksraad
 20. After duly considering an optional defense pact, the Government of Transvaal has found it wanting and thus rejected it. Instead, a mutual defense and optional aggression pact has been approved by Transvaal, firmly cementing an alliance with its oldest friend, Germany.
 21. King Kerala Varma, I have considered your proposals and after long discussions with the former National Front and with the new Parliament, have decided to agree to a mutual defense and optional aggression pact. The political and economic futures of our two nations are already intertwined and it will be better for both our peoples for a direct alliance to exist between our two nations. We would be pleased to assist with the development of St. Helena into a powerful joint base, which will help the expanding Transvaal military power in both the air and sea, the two most potent of the military branches for Transvaal, which faces very few enemies in Africa. Signed, Peter van Haesten Staatspresident

The governance and sovereignty of the Republic of Transvaal has been transfered to the the Parliament of the Republic of Transvaal, comprised of the Senate (Senaat) and House of Assembly (Volksraad). The Senate will provisionally be comprised of the former Council of the National front while the House of Assembly will provisionally be comprised of members selected by the Senate. General Peter van Haesten has been unanimously nominated by the Senate and unanimously supported in the Volksraad for the position of State President (Staatspresident), which he has accepted. Annetjie van Matteus has been appointed Prime Minister after nomination by the House of Assembly. The Parliament has written, voted on and approved a new constitution that will serve as the legal basis for the Republic of Transvaal. The House of Assembly, known as the Volksraad in Afrikaans, will serve as the lower house of the Transvaal Parliament and shall be comprised of 300 members elected from single member districts from the five provinces and self governing dependencies. Seats will be distributed based on population after every election, which shall be called by the Staatspresident every five years, or when the Prime Minister loses the confidence of the Volksraad. The self governing territories shall be given a number of non-voting delegates of no fewer than 8 but no more than 12 seats each, also elected from single member districts. The Senate shall be comprised of 24 members from every province and 6 members from the three self governing territories. All Senators have the right to vote in the Senate which will serve primarily as a deliberative body, as all government and monetary bills must originate in the Volksraad. The Volksraad has called for elections, which shall be held in one month's time, during which a national census will be taken. Although provinces do not maintain individual governments, they are divided into regions, metropolitan and rural districts and parishes. Regions have a relatively minor role, with unelected boards and Regional Development Agencies. Below the region level there is a district council responsible for services such as education, waste management and strategic planning within a district, with several councils responsible for services such as housing, waste collection and local planning. These councils are elected in separate elections. Self Governing Territories are regions set aside for primarily native use and feature devolved legislatures with a degree of autonomy and authority given to it by the national government. For the purposes of parliamentary sovereignty, the Parliament of Transvaal continues to constitute the supreme legislature of these territories; however, some of its responsibilities over the domestic policy of the territories has been handed to directly elected Territorial Parliaments. Such matters are known as "devolved matters" and include education, health, agriculture and justice though some domestic and all foreign policy remain with the national Parliament. Self Governing Dependencies are the small inhabited islands of the South Atlantic and while remaining fully integral parts of the Republic, they have authority equal to that of District Councils while not being part of a province.

By a surprisingly comfortable margin, Rhodesia voted to join the Republic of Transvaal. More than 65% of eligible voters agreed to join Transvaal, a figure that included more than 98% of the prosperous and politically dominant white citizens, primarily English speaking, as well as 35% of black voters, who were perhaps influenced by the heavily pro-Transvaal camp that spend hundreds of thousands of rand on the campaign supported by the government of Transvaal, who provided money and volunteers to the pro-Transvaal campaign. General van Haesten welcomed Rhodesia into the Republic, promising to fly to Salisbury to meet local leaders as soon as possible. The General, after receiving input from the National Front Council, has appointed Clifford Everard as the Governor of Rhodesia, which has been admitted as a federal province into the Republic. Transvaal Defense Force units began moving into barracks across Rhodesia while the former military units based in Rhodesia were reorganized into 15 infantry battalions (6 former RAR, 1 RLI and 8 RR). The Government of Transvaal has indicated its willingness to resign the Indian Ocean Treaty with Arctica.
