Ivan Moldavi
So if NSO wants to go to war for some reason, they are pre-declaring such a war to be just because they say so. Well I guess that's cool. Exactly. EDIT: So I don't have a one word response, even though it fits correctly in the context of dialogue type discussions that is "Exactly, I was implying with the Doctrine that we can pretty much go to war whenever we wish. Francesca
Why do you need a piece of paper to say you can do this?
Neo Uruk
I thought this was already in effect with the DoW on Molon Labe without a treaty partner being attacked (no, MK doesn't count) Uhhhhhhhhh it wasn't written down.

Lord of Destruction
Worldwide odoap. Very nice. A very interesting, yet slightly expected, move, seeing as this is basically what you said to enter the Karma war.
ChairmanHal
I determine right from wrong. Such is implied in the Doctrine. "No one could act against the Orders and speak of it being in 'good conscience'. To act against the Orders is to be in the wrong by definition." -Ivan Moldavi Ahh yes, back to the "good old days"...if that is your definition of the "good old days" that is. Ivan Moldavi
Why do you need a piece of paper to say you can do this? Because so many others need pieces of paper that say they can not.

Sulmar
Congratulations Ivan, it seems as though you have created a doctrine that explicates the established norm. I thoroughly encourage all alliance to adopt a doctrine similar to this one as it will save a !@#$load of !@#$%^&* threads in the fture. Hey, if we are going to be like that, I say screw doctrines and just !@#$@#$ do it.

Arcturus Jefferson
Hey, if we are going to be like that, I say screw doctrines and just !@#$@#$ do it. But then you can't trumpet yourself all over the OWF. Mind you, this doctrine should be the default for all alliances, and I'll give the NSO credit for acknowledging this, even if it's being done to grandstand. Hyperion321
NSO, what gives you the right to mettle into conflicts that have nothing to do with you. If somebody has a different perspective on something than you (Which many people do have different opinions than you, as demonstrated by your forays into recruiting), what gives you the right to roll them for following their convictions.
