Absolutely not. And my reasoning is because the power isn't entirely based in stats around here, it's based on who knows who, and who is friends with whom. Even if you reset the stats, the power structure would be nearly exactly the same.

Pacifica has attacked alliances for much, much less, and the fact that they're not acting on this, a more "solid" CB, as well as apparently supported by some of the public, than the ones they've had in the past, shows that the Order is the one that is scared, not the Kingdom. Tomorrow, I leave to go to Marine Corps Recruiting Depot Parris Island for Bootcamp. I'll be gone for the next 13 weeks. My time in MK has been awesome. I seriously cannot think of an alliance that I'd want to be in more. I have enjoyed my 3 and a half years here on Bob. I have made many friends, and possibly even more enemies. I have regrets and I've made mistakes, but it's been great the entire time I've played. NPO, MK, and my own adventure with Darkstar... it was and is very fun. No matter how many people say this game is dying, I truly do not believe them. The community that makes up the heart of this game is still active and alive. Want a fun time? Go and make it for yourself. Plenty of fun out there. Anywho, enough of my rant... and since I'm not going to be gone forever, no shoutouts in this particular thread I will be back in mid-October, so it's a farewell for now instead of a Goodbye. I'm wondering if you'll be able to get a certain buddy of yours to come back and be in Blackstone again, Potface. Although we have disagreed in the past of a number of things, I still wish you good luck with this new alliance of yours, as long as you intend to actually be spy-free.

Screw that, seriously. [/quote] A large majority of the people that were in Darkstar did not know the basics well, if at all. It was my choice to have people go through the exams. If I didn't want them, then I would have asked for the exams to be waived - but I believed it necessary for most of the people who were in Darkstar to take the exams, especially because of the IRC interaction part of the exam. It is not "MK" who you should blame for you having to go through the academy process - it is I.

However, Darkstar has gotten to the point of deathly inactivity. I won't waste time trying to blame it on people other than myself, but the main point is that I, and those that were active in Darkstar, enjoyed it for the time that we were part of it. That said, as High King of Darkstar, I have sovereign rule over Darkstar. As such, I asked Archon last night if the Mushroom Kingdom could absorb Darkstar. After some discussion, he accepted. Nearly needless to say, MK will continue to defend those who're under the Darkstar AA from raids or attacks over the next 30 days. I thank everyone who visited Darkstars forums, and I thank everyone who became a Darkstar citizen - you're all great. Now, I've been thinking for the past few days on what I'd talk about, and how I'd get those of you who're reading this announcement to, at the very least, be a bit interested in Darkstar. Now, I don't mean this in a recruitment value, but rather in a "hey, they're a cool alliance" way. That said, some very cool things have happened in Darkstar in the past month for you to be able to think such a thought of us. We've gone up nearly 50K total NS, and we've gained more than 20 new members, bringing us to 35 members - more than a 50% increase in members. This is all thanks to our new Grand Keeper of Funds (2nd in command of IA), DrewJCraig. He has been instrumental in Darkstars rapid growth. Not only is he the best recruiter we have, but he also was the link that caused the Rapture Regime to merge into Darkstar. In other news, Former Grand Chancellor SeasonsOfLove left Darkstar after our forums were hacked in the middle of February. Due to a plethora of reasons, SoL decided that he no longer wanted to be on Bob. I believe he's living out his days in solitude, waiting for Northern Virginia to come to an end. Because he decided to leave, I was forced, yet again, to rearrange the Government of Darkstar. The lineup is as follows: High King: Lord of Destruction Grand Chancellor: Necromancer V4L Lord President of the Council: Tyler Grand General: Teeters The next time I make one of these addresses, I am aiming to also be announcing the High Council. I made the decision that once Darkstar reaches 50 members, we will elect the High Council that will run the daily Internal Affairs and do projects, as well as be the peoples say in Government decisions. I expect we'll reach that goal quite easily in the next month. Necromancer V4L has proven himself to be a great asset to Darkstar by creating the [url=http://www.youtube.com/user/DarkstarNewsNetwork]Darkstar News Network[/url]. Each week, he gives a short update on how Darkstar is doing, and it's goals for the coming months. If you're interested in keeping up with how Darkstar is doing each week, I suggest you watch the DNN. There will be varying content as the program grows, as well. I know some alliances have set standards such as "500k NS" or "you need X amount of members", but we here at Darkstar do not. I don't really think what you have down for the amendment process is that great of an idea. It's truly up to you, but you may want to think about letting anyone suggest an amendment, and only letting is pass with a super majority (75%+). Just a thought.
