Johnny Apocalypse
We're not doing this to get the poached member back. We're doing this to demonstrate that actions have consequences.
No !@#$ sherlock. I didn't think you were trying to get poached members back because this is possibly the worst way to go about doing that and I know you're not that dense. My point is that if you lost members to poachers then it's no big deal because they were disloyal members in the first place and clearly didn't want to be in your alliance. It isn't something I'd goto war over and if the poaching got a certain point where I was hemorrhaging an absurd amount of members to the poachers then I would probably look at my own leadership abilities and see what the hell I'm doing wrong to cause so many people to leave. If you just cited the spying as your reason then I'd be cool with that but adding the poaching in there just makes you look weak and insecure about your own alliance and how commited your members are. Guffey
My support goes to NsO in this issue. SOS has shown absolutely zero relevant evidence of their accusations. Good luck NsO
SoADarthCyfe6
The fact that you consider 'poaching' to be a CB(as well as the spying which is entirely understandable) suggests to me that you're afraid they'll actually succeed in convincing your members to leave. Which speaks volumes about how interesting your alliance must be if you're wiling to go to war over it to try and retain your membership. Also any member which does decide to leave as a result of the poachers probably wasn't worth having around anyway if a few sugary PMs are all it takes to get them to quit. If anything NsO are doing you a favour by taking the fickle out and leaving the loyal.
This is something I happen to thoroughly agree with. If your members are being poached, ok sure, you're mad about it and you !@#$%* at the poacher, however if you take a step back and actually look at the situation, then you will realize that those members being poached are clearly non loyal members. There's nothing I can't stand more then members who hop around alliances and have no loyalty ties. They deserve to leave or be poached, because they will eventually bail on that AA too. Johnny Apocalypse
Strongly agreed about the poaching bit taking out disloyal members. But it is not a war over keeping those members, it's a war over the continuous, damaging harassment. After enough harassment, someone draws a line, and declares war when that line is crossed. Agree or disagree with the CB as you like, but it's why the war started.
When I said retaining members I meant retaining the members you currently have, as if to scare them into staying and not leaving to join NsO. Not to convince the poached members to come back because that would be futile.
andyt2k
If someone offers your members better cake than you have, don't kill the baker, learn to bake a better cake. However I do think people can run alliances however they wish and "I don't like u" should be a valid CB
Merlinus
Incredible. It took longer to read to this point than it took for the two "combatants" to conclude hostilities? Incredible.

Jens of the desert
Attention Members of the SOS Brigade War. What is it good for? Nothing, if you ask me. Recently, we've taken note to your alliance's warpath, creating an Anime v Anime war over all but nothing except irrational hatred and Arrnea's delusions. Is that how a real alliance acts? I don't think so. Is this war really good for the spread of anime on Bob? Hardly. I'd like to personally invite you all to join Tetris, an alliance with class, who seeks to use our words before using our fists. Upon joining Tetris, you will be given access to the following: 1. Access to an alliance not lead by Arrnea. 2. Access to our anime archives, with more tapes and magazines than we can count (or ever would want to). 3. But most importantly, an alliance not lead by Arrnea. In addition to all of this, Tetris is situated right next to the other (and much better) anime-themed alliance on this world, so you'll never be too far away from your favorite pass-time! If you're interested, just head over to our forums and post your application. Please note that this invitation is for current SOS Brigade members, and SOS Brigade members only. Thank you for your time! I hope to see you all very soon!
The anime archives are a lie! Also, pastime, not pass-time, lol.
