Achilles
An Announcement from the Moralist Front Oh hey, guys. The Moralist Front has been around for over one hundred and fifty days now, and though we're insignificant and you all really don't care about us, we'd like to show you some statistics. As you can see, the Moralist Front has almost eleven members. Yes, we're very small. However, counting our current undeclared engagement, each member of the Moralist Front can claimed to have started an average of 3.33 alliance wars (they would be lying, of course, because I've started all of them). You may also note that two of our nations are in anarchy. We're not very good at buying soldiers, and we regularly anarchy ourselves by mistake. Thank you for your support in this difficult time. We've also had our first elections ever. Incredible! The following persons (most of whom have no OWF presence) have been elected to positions of government: Speaker: Vilien Consul of Defense: SuperJahdia Consul of Foreign Affairs: Jaki Cold I will expect you to memorize these. As you may have already figured out, we make up government positions whenever we need them/feel like it. But don't worry, that won't stop us from idiotically shouting our titles at you in the heat of negotiations. The Moralist Front has been doing a whole lot, and we've got a lot to tell the five or six people who regularly read our announcements. Unlike some of you larger alliances out there (I won't be naming you, I'm too afraid of you), we've been doing our fair share to fill up these boards with trite and meaningless content. See you in a week or so, when we announce our next entirely pointless and irrelevant "milestone". P.S: I completely agree with you mpol, someone needs to teach these people how things should really be done. ???? An announcement inside an announcement. wow. Kanly
Thank you for reading my post, I am so glad you can look at my signature and base your entire post on it. Yes, my philosophy on most things in life is that, I believe in peace, love and Mercy, but don’t write me off as a coward or a hippy, I have fought in wars for what I believe just as you have, just because I don’t all come flocking to you doesn’t mean I am anything less than you are. Give me the respect of acknowledging what I said and reply to that, don’t make this about something else because it is easier for you to cover it that way. If you want this to be the end of it, that is fine with me, but if you’re going to take the time to post, at the very least take the time to say something to add to the discussion. You remind me of Kerry, and I hate HIS flocking guts too. Freaking turncoat...

WarriorConcept
Cool story FAN. I await to see what you guys come up with, this place is really not worth visiting as much as it used to. Glad my alliance's forums are fun.
jerdge
I'm sure that there was a lot of people moaning and complaining that CN was "boring" only because of FAN's "inactivity", that FAN didn't want to "reply" but had to, and that now that they did, all the complaints will vanish. On the other hand, this post too is useless, thus I call it a draw...
Lord of Destruction
Whatever, mpol. I agree with what you have to say - I just wish you hadn't ranted on that long. Now we'll all have to deal with the lovely sycophants who will take your opinion for themselves, act like self-righteous idiots, and condemn everyone who acts like those kind of people you talked about. What a fun ridiculous few weeks these boards will endure.
Achilles
I'm willing to hazard a guess that most of us weren't here for the time leading up to the FAN wars to have hated FAN in the first place. Even if they were here for the time leading up to the FAN wars, the anti-NPO propaganda in the recent year or so has given them the "good guy" face value. I don't think anyone has forgoten why they hated FAN, I think they are a different FAN for the time being. The real question is, for how long? LiquidMercury
To truly get back on topic you'd need to say something about how the world is full of alliances that lack any kind of purpose and how they fill that void with useless blather about stats, treaties that are about as binding as scotch tape and for the most part they're all waiting for someone else to do something instead of doing something themselves.Porn is always good too though. I'm right with you on this one. Personally I hate being sanctioned, hate making announcements about NS, hate seeing 100k NS announcements or any announcement under the size of whatever nation is #1's NS is. I'd love to see radio silence on everything, no announcing of treaties, gov, milestones, anything. Then when war happens, it's just like "where in the hell did they come from and why?" Lords of chaos they shal be.
Achilles
It's called a satire. Oh, I'm glad I read the whole thing (I didn't read it all). I guess I didn't get it. Thanks for clearing that up.
OberstKrieger
I respect this post for its qualities of truth and frank honesty. I also congratulate you for gathering the attention you desire, as well as continuing your reputation of being tough, rugged, hardcore, badass, however you will term it. We'll take what we can get to ease the boredom, I suppose.

Style #386
I am rather certain he was being sarcastic. Well, what with TOP's constant claims that they dislike being sanctioned, not to mention LiquidMercury's personal part in patronizing 100k milestone events, it's rather easy to be confused, don't you think? Jacapo Saladin
Just poke someone in the eye and kick it off again. I see your advice and raise you a: Why did you bother to announce this, I had hoped when I saw a FAN announcement that it would actually have substance. Otherwise all you did here was give us another announcement that has the same worth as the million "State of the Alliance" threads that certain people love to make. I think the announcement was a result of numerous parties bawwing to FAN about wanting action but lacking the proverbial sack to produce said action themselves. That's just how I read it. Thankfully the reaction gave us some nice gems of humor from decidedly predictable personalities.

Achilles
I think there should be a final showdown. An epic battle. The largest CN battle of all time. There is only one way to have such a showdown. yes, I mean a thumb war! Since it isn't fair to put this on the new NPO emperor, it will be between mpol and Moo. I believe that's fair. I'm still curious who these parties are that are apparently expecting FAN to start a war that lasts more than a week and/or brings a chain of treaties into action in FAN's favor (I could be wrong but I don't think FAN even has any now with Vox gone). In which case, the choice to make things exciting (or kick off another great war, or whatever the hell people expect) isn't even FAN's, it's yours, and people should just send their complaints to Ivan.
