Nintenderek
I'm still curious who these parties are that are apparently expecting FAN to start a war that lasts more than a week and/or brings a chain of treaties into action in FAN's favor (I could be wrong but I don't think FAN even has any now with Vox gone). If you want to get technical, the Pocahontas Accords were never canceled by OcUK or FAN, so they still have a treaty.
Freelancer
Just poke someone in the eye and kick it off again. Why bother, the game demograpic these days, they'd do it themselves.
New Frontier
In which case, the choice to make things exciting (or kick off another great war, or whatever the hell people expect) isn't even FAN's, it's yours, and people should just send their complaints to Ivan. Yeah, because people don't complain about Ivan enough already
MiasmaCircle
The Moldavi Doctrine would allow us to come to their aid. I can't help but wonder if you actually mean this or if you just want to ensure this thread won't die just quite yet. Edit- Not that there's anything wrong with that Edited November 11, 2009 by MiasmaCircle

Actually, the Moldavi Doctrine is turning out to suppress smaller scale warfare on Planet Bob, not increase the likelihood of it, since anyone entering a conflict risks NSO intervention and there would have no guarantee that it would be NSO and NSO alone that they are fighting. Penguin
The jury appears to be out on whether or not I am allowed to praise FAN in public without being a shameless parasite, but I just had to tell you I really respect that you can resist the urge to title all of your press releases "FANnouncement". I know I wouldn't be able to do that if I were in your shoes and my alliancemates would definitely have killed me for it by now. In fact, they might do just that anyway... Not what I meant. I merely wonder if Chey is implying NSO would assist FAN or if he is using the ever popular Moldavi Doctrine button to keep the hornet's nest of attention around here. Again, merely wonder, no judgement.

MiasmaCircle
Now I can't help but wonder if you're being intentionally thick. You are familiar with the saying that something "pushes my buttons?" Read my last comment with that in mind and it should make more sense. ChairmanHal
The Ever Popular Moldavi Doctrine Button - n. - Mentioning the Moldavi Doctrine in a thread guarantees at least a few more pages of pointless debate about whether or not it is a good thing, along with some additional saber rattling for dramatic tension. MiasmaCircle
Mind if I ask if you noticed the bold? Observational skills for the win? Of Course I noticed it. I just didn't have a clue as to what you meant. Hard to discuss when your question consists of one word. The Ever Popular Moldavi Doctrine Button - n. - Mentioning the Moldavi Doctrine in a thread guarantees at least a few more pages of pointless debate about whether or not it is a good thing, along with some additional saber rattling for dramatic tension. OOC: They'll assume that Moldavi is some sort of Russian government official and it will have the same effect. Lord only knows what NSA/CIA/Interpol watch lists we're all on already for playing this game.
bigwoody
What we have in this world are many alliances who like living in a world of peace, content with their status and averse to starting any kind of trouble. I suspect FAN will do whatever it takes to take a shot at the top. Few, if any, others have this drive. They might succeed, they might get ganged up on by those averse to a world of conflict. Regardless of the outcome, the world is a better place with them doing their thing. Hats off to FAN in their quest (intentional or no) to make this world worth living in. Have some gun porn. Starfox101
Gotta love how everyone's lining up to kiss FAN's $@! now. I guess it's the cool thing to do, ooh, they survived, let's all kiss their $@! now and pretend like we were rooting for them the whole time.Give me a !@#$@#$ break. Well luckily for me, I've been rooting for them since the days Atrophis was the world's least favorite person.

Monster
Trust me Atrophis was never the world's least favorite person. That's true, but I think starfox was referring to the time when people would laugh at atrophis for being in peace mode and FAN in general for that. It was pretty dumb.
