1. Hmmm... Whatever happened to the infallibility of Pacifican Emperors? That's what you get for appointing a non-revolutionary.
2. I hope you're right. It would suck to have to waste our 5 billion dollar war chests on rebuilding a billion dollars worth of damage.
3. Saber/Anyone in Gramlins Crymson/A numbler of people in Gramlins -------------------- As someone that wasn't there when the TOP/GRE relationship started, it was completely puzzling to behold. Saber and Crymson and Syzgy and Bob Janova would go round and round saying some of the most awful things to one another. Then Feanor would pop in like the Fonzie, say, "Hey!" And everything would go back to normal until next time.
4. Let's be clear. The failure of the Moldavi Rebellion effectively doomed CN to eternal mediocrity. It is fitting that no one has bothered to catalogue the blundering cacophany that followed.
5. Omni--Since Ardus, Feanor, and Crymson are all declining your invitation, I'll have a dance. I used to roll my eyes silently in disgust whenever I saw Argent making some inane claim that I would have to later back up with my nation. I would roll my eyes, sigh, and set about massaging fragile egos to keep the peace to sustain what was best for all even when they were incapable of recognizing it for themselves. It's amazing what a little change in perspective and political positioning can do for you. Now, you see, I just giggle. Cheers.
6. We need a Cattle + Pigs nation on Pink. Three of our members are extremely old TOP members, and we have one extremely old RnR member--we won't be deleting or leaving you high and dry. Some of us have been trading together for over 2000 days now. We lost a member when he joined the NSO and they forced him to join their team color and in-house trade circle. If you're down, switch to pink team, cattle and pig, and give trade-offers to: http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_display.asp?Nation_ID=396895 http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_display.asp?Nation_ID=13547 http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_display.asp?Nation_ID=354466 http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_display.asp?Nation_ID=76341 http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_display.asp?Nation_ID=133376
7. You'll be happy to know that the chemical sheds are ready for you...
8. Both Sigrun and Pingu appear to be in fine form. How Sigrun can at once regret the failure to exterminate NPO, and simultaneously work to restore them to power in a war that they orchestrated is beyond my comprehension.
9. I was really hoping that there would be more hurtful things being said in this thread. I guess we'll just have to kill each other and reminisce over days when we still cared enough to try. Have fun dying.
10.
You are a joke and a charlatan
No U!
11. Crymson and Sigrun at each other makes me nostalgic.
12.
I don't get it.
If he meant you to understand, he would have provided some measure of rationale or counter-evidence. It's meant to reassure himself that he is right. I hope he has fun with that.
13.
A really stupid but probably necessary statement: The one war you ever lost, TOP... Argent and IRON stayed with you through it and lost that war right there with you. The loss was arguably even more devastating for them than it was for you, considering they didn't get an eventual shiny new MK treaty out of it. I don't know if you'll lose another, but if you do, you won't have your best friends in Argent and IRON there with you. That'll hurt in ways rational calculations don't pick up sometimes.
There was a time where we worked well together--that's true. Staying together because we used to work well together is nostalgia, not wisdom. TBH, the timing of these two course corrections is basically coincidental. There had always been a degree of clash with Argent because we wanted to be dynamic and disruptive, and they wanted to play conservative. Having never settled on a unified course or even established common values or methods, it was really only a matter of time. Doubts about our relationship with IRON began well over a year ago when we stopped recognizing about 90% of the people on the IRON Council. Once MCRABT became the senior-most Councilor, the writing was on the wall.
14. You had a good run, guys. You were good allies. I hope a few of you find your way to the Order, but good luck to you wherever you go.
15. No butthurt, no regrets, have a drink and move along. Cheers, IRON
16. ODN from GWIII until the War of the Coalition Blackwater while I was feeling depressed TOP for the rest of the time.
17.
-snip-
I play this game to make you happy. O wait...
18.
I demand that TOP have a vendetta against us. You're messing up the narrative.
How shall I proceed?
19.
Actually in this world, might makes temporary correctness to be re-evaluated at a later date.
Our evaluations tend to hold up pretty well.
20. Ser Gregor Clegane likes this announcement.
21.
We only have one sphere. The TOP sphere.
Technically we have two TOP spheres. They're made of brass and clank between our legs when we walk.
22. It was fun while it lasted. Well, for part of the time that it lasted anyways.
