Il Impero Romano Posted August 14, 2009 Report Share Posted August 14, 2009 Declaration of War Last night, RyanGDI contacted Viridia in a most aggressive manner regarding the punishment of a member of his alliance for declaring war on a NPO nation. To be frank, his manner was offensive and bizarre, and if I were not familiar with these forums I would write it off as a new and confused nation not quite sure how to act. However, as most of you know, this is not the case. Still, we were more then happy to keep the offer on the table for peace, as this is just simply a routine matter. Eventually, Ryan did a complete 180 (by the urging of some more reasonable friends I assume) and agreed to pay reps to NPO aid targets on their behalf to be taken off their total reparation amount. Yet this morning I awoke to a declaration on a VE member in defense of the rogue. Ryan has been uncooperative in attempts to resolve this peacefully as a routine matter, and combined with his comments from last night, he clearly intends to make good on his threats. In defense of our membership, the Viridian Entente hereby declares war on the Global Defense Initiative. Signed, Cornelius, Lord Solaris, Duke Impero, Secretary of Defense God of Salt, Secretary of the Interior CharlesInCharge, Secretary of State Also, it honestly pains us to have an entire alliance pay for the failure of their leadership in such a trivial matter while he sits in peace mode. So, we will be offering indivdual surrender terms right from the start, and GDI will be allowed to surrender after two weeks. Individual Surrender Terms:-Change your AA to VE POW until the official surrender of GDI. -Offer peace in all wars. -Change to defcon 5, low threat level.
