Xiphosis put in a ton of time, and made a concerted effort to help Polar out over the last several months. What you see here is the result of a series of events happening that put him in a bad position with respect with what he was trying to accomplish. Incidentally, this doesn't mean GOD has fulfilled their obligations to VE - this is just GOD fulfilling their obligations to RnR, a SF alliance. GOD would have to declare war on Polar to actually meet the conditions of an MADP with VE.
