Whether through direct attacks on us or our allies, the betrayal of trust of our friends, repeated attempts to conspire against us and our friends, and just making themselves a general nuisance in our own establishments, this rodent problem has demonstrated that we cannot simply ignore it and hope that it will go away. The pest plagues each of us, yet as soon as any attempt to chastise it begins, this rat scampers back along the apron strings attached to it to bother another alliance. No longer will we have to deal with this pest in turn as it comes knocking at our door to nibble our cheese and push its shoddy beer. Today, we unveil the Microbrewery Revolution! The undersigned free and independent alliances; in order to enhance our security and protect our interests do hearby agree to this proceeding pact: 1. Our local beer is superior in taste and culture, we will support our local beer industry by patronizing local bars and pups and tariff foreign brands trying to get into our market. 2. In the event a foreign market should try a hostile takeover of our businesses these alliances reserve the right to respond with equal and greater measures to push the competition out. 3. Further, we uphold the option of adopting aggressive marketing strategies. Promoting and and expanding our beer, and bankrupting theirs.... 4. This agreement can be canceled after you pay your tab and don't come back for 24 hours. Our goal was to provide micros (of this day and age) a way to leverage protection together as once the rat gets chased off by the snake, he tends to pester some of us. Bigger alliances usually don't have to worry about it, though he seems determined to piss the big boys off too. We assumed Fark was a little too big to need this kind of agreement.
