[/quote] That's true, but didn't TDO split their AA so they would not have a Sanction spot and have to deal with as many ghosts? I don't think you can argue with the winners, but in the losers category there are some arguments that could be made. MASH is the only one that no longer exists, I think that qualifies for a very bad year, even if they did merge. A couple AA's also lost more then half their membership, that's worse then taking damage because damage can be rebuilt a lot easier then gaining new members. Some may be nations leaving one alliance to join another or to form their own. Though I must admit to level of losses isn't very encouraging. As staff in an old fashioned game that has worked hard to keep players I can tell you that when change stops, people start to leave. I see that here. I had one person tell me .. well there is nothing left to buy and one war is just like another... so I guess I'm gone. It often doesn't matter whether the change impacts you and how you play personally. It matters that there is change. Change shows that the creators care about the game and want to continue to see it thrive. Therein lies the rub in my humble neutral opinion.
