Azrael Alexander
Yes, count me as a supporter of tier barriers. The Sparta-Polar-MHA race is so exciting! Soon enough IRON will join in on the fun. The next few weeks will be quite exciting if you ask me. I expect a lot of dancing
im317
yeah, updates have become much easier to read since we added the barriers. if you guys hate them so much figure out a way to get less alliances in the race without changing the add/drop line rules. Gopherbashi
Nope. Ya'll just bought 40,000 infra yesterday. And I'd like to remind you that slow and steady always wins the race. Slowly and steadily downwards doesn't. Also, +1 Tier Barriers.
Titus Pullo
I'm a huge fan of the tier system
keeology
i like the tires makes it easier to read. also gives alliances to shoot at something like reaching tier 3 then tier 2 ect ect
Aeternos Astramora
No tier barriers, but just break the alliances up at wherever you feel like.
Shodemofi-NPO
No tier barriers, but just break the alliances up at wherever you feel like. See, then why not have tier barriers? People complain about them being useless and meaningless, how would just putting breaks wherever you want be any less so?
Rudolph
The tier barriers makes it sooo easier to read. +1 for it

JoshuaR
I think tier barriers would be better if they were just inserted wherever a 1 point gap shows up between unsanctioned alliances, or a 3 point gap between sanctioned alliances, just so they can actually be used to help read the graph in a logical way rather than just being random breaks with no correlation to score other than that of the 12th ranked alliance. ^This is essentially how they started. bak (?) added them in so that we, the readers, would have the opportunity to see, at a glance, when alliances were actually close in score or not. I.E., when NPO and IRON were about 15 pts ahead of the others, it was useful to add a tier barrier because then people would actually notice the enormous gap! That is how I prefer it. +1 to tier barriers if they indicate actual gaps between clumps of alliances. Whoever updates for the day can decide what constitutes a "gap" however they like. Or some rule can be made. -1 to tier barriers as they are. As they are, they are meaningless and only confuse rather than educate. They don't tell me anything about how close alliances are to one another. They just tell me how far away they are from #12.
Aeternos Astramora
See, then why not have tier barriers? People complain about them being useless and meaningless, how would just putting breaks wherever you want be any less so? Because the existence of tier barriers implies that there is some sort of reason other than just breaking up a large bloc of lines.
Sequoia Throne
Tier barriers are better than no tier barriers, although I think more interesting barriers like the MARU line would be cool too.
Palpatine001
Tier Barriers FTW Makes it much easier to read and gives me a good excuse to go flog GATOs tech corps when that cursed barrier GATO is trying to bust runs away
WildThing
Why not adjust add/drop line formula's if there are too many alliances in the race. If tier barriers were used to show big gaps between alliances, I'd love them, as they are it just seems stupid.
Jinnai
Eh. I'd pefer breakups be based on point differences between the two alliances, ie if they are ~1 point or more away.
Arcadian Empire
14-10 to the Tier Barriers. +1 to tier barriers because I remember the days of no tier barriers... just go back about 500 or so pages and you'll see 12 neatly formatted alliances, the Great Sanction Line and then a big clump of alliances. So 15-10 to the Tier Barriers now, I think. Also I haven't done update in a long time... I shall take it today.
General Scian
I vote for tiers Also, VE continues our slow climb upwards...
shahman
Let's redo tiers. If there is over a point jump in the non-sanctioned alliances, make a space.
