LSF Apology to IRON

An Apology from the Libertarian Socialist Federation

First and foremost, it is important to get out of the way that the LSF are truly sorry for our actions towards IRON as of late. Understandbly, MCRABT and others in his alliance got quite mad at us when Optimistic got high and impersonated him on IRC as a joke, and then later when Spacemonkey, myself, and the rest of us made fun of him when he went into #LSF because we thought he was being stupid. Consequently, it is only proper that we offer our deepest apologies for offending the sensibilities of IRON. Keen on further fixing the relationship, the LSF have agreed with all of IRON's demands, which include expulsion of Optimistic and payment of token reps of 200 tech.

I personally feel that that was way too much, but, it just goes to show how willing LSF are to atone for our mistakes that we have agreed to all of IRON's demands under the threat of filling the 10 slots or so we have left that haven't been filled by NoR. Right now, it is important for the LSF to maintain good public relations during these turbulant times for our alliance. On this occasion, I would like to take the opportunity to invite IRON and any other alliance to come and chill with us on IRC and get to know us. Not to be undone by NG's awesome Schrodinger's box announcement, our token physicist comrade, Pacifist Ninja, has decided to explain Quantum superposition to the rest of the community.

In my first introductory quantum mechanics class I learned something that gave me a day long sense of euphoria. Nearly 100 years ago there was this issue: electrons in an atom behaving the way normal, "classical" particles do, should spiral and fall to the center of the atom. This troubling issue was solved if you "quantized" the "energy levels" of electrons, or in layman's terms, if electrons could only be in certain positions within the atom and never in between like a planet revolving around it's star. However, there was no theoretical reason for this to occur, until one brilliant man, Louis deBroglie posed a theory for his thesis. Essentially, the theory states that if you look at electrons not as particles, but as waves, we can see that the result is this "quantization of energy" levels, or orbitals. A way to visualize this is to think of a lake in which you drop two pebbles, and watch how the ripples form in the lake. See how at certain points there are peaks both upward and downward? Such a simple concept leads us directly to our desired orbitals: with the correct distribution of waves, they peak upward where the orbital is, and peak downward every where else.

Thank you, Sabcat and LSF.

This would seem more genuine if it were the only asinine stunt yall've been pulling. or if yall meant it....
exactly, LSF are like lil kids running around doing what they want while mommy isnt home, then daddy comes back and sees the crap they pulled and goes to spank them and they are "sorry"

I find that highly offensive. LSF has conducted itself with complete honor and integrity throughout this whole ordeal. In exchange for the emotional damage you have caused I demand 100 tech for each offending sentence you wrote!

I did not vote for this and IRON are a bunch of whiny !@#$%*es.

If you feel that strongly about your alliances position you know where the declare war button is. You're the anarchist pal.

That'll do LSF I look forward to my 100 tech and filling Alex Thompsons slots if our noble friends at NoR give us a look in.

Oh, that's what you were planning? No, sorry, you're not getting him or your tech. Come at me bro.

Not a valid reason. Drunk, yes. That, no.

We shall see :)

also,

[17:18] <MCRABT[IRON]> Reps are precisely why everyone around here has no balls

(and no, that wasn't me impersonating him)
I don't recall making that statement perhaps you will enlighten me with the full context. I am certain If that is me then it's in reference to taking reps after defeating an alliance at war.

Yes, indeed we shall. You won't get an ounce of anything out of us without prying it from my cold, dead hands. Bank on it.

Got an issue? Grab a tissue. The other part isn't a big problem for me.

I'm sure if IRON tried to do anything to you guys The International would have your back, so why apologize with reps? Oh wait, almost forgot your treaty with The International doesn't work that way and you guys are on your own pretty much. Good luck and nice apology.

It's crazy. IRON put a time limit on it and people on IRC were shouting at me to post something, I C&P'd this off the forums and here we are.

Now lots more people are shouting at me and someone not even in LSF just told me to die in a fire. People really do get excited, don't they?
