1. The amount of disrespect in this thread for the death of an ancient treaty is TOO DAMN HIGH. Take your !@#$ somewhere else.
 2.
LSF and INT are no longer allies. Good to know, thank you for the update. LSF members hate INT. Again, thank you for the update. Thank you all for playing. I can still get my requisite amount of filthy jokes in their IRC channel, so all is well. Let's move it along people. -CG
*Some LSF members
Your obsession over my relevance, is relevant. I so enjoy a fan club.
Its not so much about how irrelevant you are, as the fact that you (and others) are being irrelevant in a very dickish way for very dickish reasons. In short, I am mostly in the fan club of your dick... ishness.
 3.
What was NoR to do, send messages to all members of LSF? Or simply hit those committing acts of war against them? They chose the latter. You would have as well.. Deny it and be a liar if you want, but you would have too.
You know, the solution to this is pretty obvious and easy. Just take it to a relevant thread! For example, you could try the peace thread. That's always nice! There's nothing requiring you to piss all over the thread where we tried to amicably end a long standing relationship.
 4.
You personally? Possibly not. But there is a reason LSF stayed at war for four months, and it was because we were assured that post-war, MK would drop NoR and CNG would go in with us. That was the deal that was struck, and the entire bloc begged INT to take it. So they did, and when MK reneged on it, most likely with the private support of at least ODN, their bloc now seems to not give a !@#$ that INT was played for idiots and had their PR ruined by their masters over in MK. Even after forcing everybody into a manipulative war designed to force INT to reneg on their promises to LSF and dishonor a treaty with their longest allies. Which I personally think is a bad move on CNG's part. If I were you/them, I would use MK's "betrayal" as an excuse to cozy up to NPO before MK's house comes falling down around them and you might have to, gasp, lose a war.
When in disgrace with fortune and men’s eyes I all alone beweep my outcast state, And trouble deaf heaven with my bootless cries for a relevant discussion, And look upon myself, and curse my fate, Wishing me like to see a relevant discussion, Featured like relevancy, like him with relevant posts, Desiring that thread’s art, and that thread’s scope, With what I most enjoy contented least; Yet in these thoughts myself almost despising, Haply I think on a relevant discussion,—and then my state, Like to the lark at break of day arising From sullen earth, sings hymns of relevancy at heaven’s gate; For thy sweet relevancy remembered such wealth brings That then I scorn to change the state of this thread.
 5.
Because YOU find it to not be relevant, does not make it so, my young padawan. You are not the decider of what is and is not relevant, and your entire pressing of this "what you post is irrelevant" angle, is for more irrelevant than my discussions with the Schatt's , and Gibs, and Sabcat's of this thread. Practice what you preach bro and move along home.
I find it it to be irrelevant because IT IS, my young fetus. What you are doing is going to a funeral and pissing on the casket.
 6.
Lol where the hell did this happen? No one in any C&G alliance said that at all during the many conversations that were had about this stupid war.
Would you two please explain to me how this is at all relevant to the fact that Int and LSF happen to have different FA paths and have therefore decided to end their now useless treaty?
 7.
If you find the conversation surrounding the underlying cause for this cancellation to be irrelevant, stop replying to posts not directed at you,and let us continue our little personal debate. We are causing no harm to you, we are not straying off the topic at hand, you simply have the choice to reply or not. Make the choice not to, if this is so "irrelevant". K, thx.
It is more than just that, you (edit: and others) are turning this cancellation thread into a grunge match between Int and LSF over a completely irrelevant issue.
 8.
What gov members of INT may or may not have known for weeks or months, is completely irrelevant to the fact that they cannot go to war without an official vote of the war council. Nor can they even hold that vote, without 1st discussing with their MADP blocmates. That you, or Trot, or anyone else assumed, that when this was brought to us, we would cheerfully say "yes, lets go be the baseball bat for an alliance that has not so much as even bothered to come plead their case to us themselves, thats a right keen idea!," shows how little grasp you, and possibly even he, had on the situation as a whole at that time. The fact is, when it was brought to us, we pointed out stupidity after stupidity after stupidity in your grand scheme, and those members of the war council said "wow, maybe they are right, this is pretty dumb" and minds were changed. THAT is what matters. Minds were changed BEFORE any binding vote happened. You can pretend like it didnt go down that way, but that is 100% the way it went down.
Thee may ask, how is this irrelevant? Let me count the ways. This is irrelevant to the depth and breadth and height My soul can see, when feeling out of sight that this is irrelevant For the ends of Being and ideal Grace even know that is discussion is completely irrelevant. This thread is irrelevant to the level of everyday's Most desperate need I have for you to stop, by sun and candle-light. I shall freely say, as men strive for Right, that this discussion is god damn irrelevant; This discussion is purely irrelevant, as it turns from Praise. I despise this discussion with a passion put to use In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith. This discussion is irrelevant with an irrelevance I seemed to lose the words to describe With my lost saints, --- I despise the discussion with the breath, Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- and, if God choose, I shall but despise this disussion after death.
 9.
FFS Rush, this is embarrassing now, give it up. We have established from this thread that Int Gov were either aware or directly involved in our schemes, for months. We have established that half the world knew, including Int's membership. The message from Int to LSF was "we're with you, if this blows up into war, we're in". This was the message right up to the point that NoR parked their tanks on our lawn when Int had other ideas. Again, to spell it out for you, if like NATO or other allies Int had either had no involvement or knowledge of our actions then this treaty would not be cancelled. It's not hard to understand and doesn't require anyone to go reading charters or picking through the details of a treaty.
What both of you need to learn is that this entire conversation is irrelevant. All that is important to this thread is that our two alliances, LSF and Int, have realized that our FA paths have become too conflicting to maintain a treaty. Nothing More. Nothing less.
 10.
Im not denying you are right, but my response is in response to someone else saying that any one person's word in INT is binding to the entire alliance. When it clearly is not. There is little doubt that this outcome for LSF-INT was inevitable, nor am I here to debate that.
But your post implies that is a meaningful and relevant discussion. It is not.
 11.
If what an alliance leader says, goes... 100% of the time... what do charters exist for? It is not for you to sit here and tell INT how their alliance should function. They set their rules in place at the time of their inception. A war can only be approved by the vote of the war council. Its not brand spanking new material they just made up for !@#$% and giggles one day prior to LSF going off the reservation. It has ALWAYS been there. ALWAYS GIBS. As in, it has never NOT been that way for INT. Why is this so hard for you to grasp? This post is filled with people telling INT membership they are wrong, for doing exactly what their charter demands them to do. THEY VOTE ON WHETHER OR NOT TO GO TO NON MANDATORY WARS. Its not your place, Schatt's place, or anyone else's place to tell them they should just put all their power in their GenCom. The GenCom's powers are spelled out rather specifically in their charter. Like it or not, they handled their business as an alliance, the way their charter led them to. That it did not line up with what ... certain factions.. hoped it would line up with, is not a negative on their alliance. The absolutely HILARIOUS part of all this? If they had done something controversial that was AGAINST their charter, the same cast of characters would be out here linking articles of the charter (and dont flipping deny it, Ive seen it in 479843768479840794379 thread about raiding.) Its freaking ridiculous. You dont like what INT did, dont try to get close to them. Its really the freaking simple. The nerve, following a charter.
It doesn't matter what the leaders NOR what the membership decided on that particular FA policy. All that matters is that the two alliances have incompatible general FA policies and philosophies and have therefore decided the treaty is meaningless.
 12. Wow, 17 pages? This is really simple, so I'm going to make this clear: NONE OF THE BICKERING IN HERE REFLECTS THE ACTUAL FEELINGS OF EITHER ALLIANCE. What we have here is as simple as it is possible for a concept to be: LSF and Int have found that their FA policies and philosophies diverge too drastically to have a meaningful treaty. The treaty is therefore recognized as pointless. Nothing more. Nothing less.
 13. Most General Response to some concerns: I don't know for sure if LSF would have gone to war if it weren't for the support and unofficial promises LSF received from Int beforehand.
 14.
Take care, fellas. It's been real.
I'll always love you from the bottom of my penis.
