We got countered by lots of people too.
Legion are currently at war with pretty much all of C&G.
That is to say, more nations than all of the alliances who hit you guys put together.

It's that simple.
Most of our initial targets were in your alliance, so we declared on you.
They have generally speaking been destroyed, so we're moving on to other alliances.
As for Legion, you are aware that they got countered by C&G and the majority of their war mode nations are in anarchy, yes? That makes declaring war tricky.

Actually, honestly, I expected you guys to get less aid and produce more NS out of it. 4.3 billion is considerably more than the aidfall that vaulted MHA to sanction.
It doesn't really matter though. Really. We don't care about the horde of 5K nations that you will produce.

You don't care about tiny nations and your entire upper tier is in peace. I'm beginning to think that even you don't know what you care about.
I looked at the first three nations he linked, they were all in the teens.
Our highest war mode nation is 38K currently.
Now I don't know about you, but in my CN 13 is not in range of 38.

If you weren't gaining NS with 4.3 billion dollars in aid and a collection of newbies, there'd be something wrong.

That's not really true. There's only 8 Invicta nations with no GOONS targets in range.
It's not that there are no nations in range at all, it's that they're properly covered.

Frankly, we need to drastically cut down on the number of binding military treaties we sign. At all. It's one of the greatest unrealistic things about CN, most nations in the real world have at the most one binding military treaty.

I wouldn't count on the losing side in this war desiring to play CN as much as you guys apparently do.

Who does care about events 4-5 years ago? The rather vocal minority of people posting on these forums. The vocal minority spread "the facts" around to the people who don't bother getting involved on the CN forums or weren't playing when these events happened. The result is that we all end up carrying emotional baggage from stuff we really shouldn't care about in the first place.
Actually, it's most of the people playing this game who cares about those events. You may have noticed that player retention is at an all-time low and it's because newbies get involved, find people arguing about crap from 2006, and get bored and leave.

Most internet trolls are a good deal more socially adept than Phelps and his gang.
Those guys are like a kind of bizarro-world über-troll movement.

Yeah, hard drive speed is basically the primary bottleneck in most modern computer configurations. You'll notice a pretty huge difference with the windoze install too.

Well, I wouldn't use a tool like this if it can't be relied on to give accurate information. You could just drop the arrows in that case though.

In order for there to be non-global large wars, you need a truly multipolar world. This is made difficult by people like Pandora's Box who, observing that there is a new pole developing, decide to force it to merge in with another existing pole and then complain when it doesn't coordinate well with the pole that they attacked earlier.
