Yeah I have had a similar experience more than once and it was glorious....halcyon days man.

I cannot deny that I giggled somewhat.

As a Londoner this blog entry fills me with pride

Haha well put Omni, Merry Christmas.

Lacks the French option, the Marseillaise is the greatest anthem IMO.

I would take Eumirbago's sound advice if I were you.

its not thriving but that doesnt mean its dying. Since dying implies an immediate end date (and ive been hearing dying for years). As long as Admin is willing to keep running it there are thousands of people who will keep playing. Plenty of people still playing and enjoying it.
^ This, 12'000 people logging in and participating at varying levels makes CN eminently viable.

Great work.

Got to agree with whimsical, if you get there Elly together with AirMe you can fulfil Ronin's infiltration of TLR

Yes, bikes rule. I'm actually in the process of going fixed as i heard it is much better for wind which is a problem in chicago. The city is almost completely flat which is awesome for biking. If you have a smartphone, check out the app "my tracks" by google. You can record your route via gps and get tons of cool stats (max moving speed, avg moving speed, total time, total moving time, max grade, etc)
You will not regret switching over, sure it will be hair-raising at first but after the initial week or so it will all fall into place. Cheers for the App tip

Fixed gear bikes are terrible.
heh
A bike with gears struggles enough where I live in Wales. I don't think a fixed-gear bike cuts it somehow. Certainly learn what a mountain bike is in the valleys.
Yeah I suspect Wales is not the best place for Fixed riding, especially North Wales!

Patton would make my top 10 certainly but not top 5.
So in addition to my top 5 here would be the remainder of my top 10...
6: Talvisota (Finnish film set in the Winter War)
7: Zulu (1964)
8: Waterloo (1970)
9: Stalingrad
10: Patton

i chained my last bike to a no parking signsomebody pulled the sign out of the ground somehow and then stole my bike
Holy s.... that guy wanted your rig really badly!
I had my bike chained at the local pool. There was even a lifeguard guy sitting at the entrance facing toward where the bike was. When me and my friend leave the pool both of our bikes are gone and the guy watching is asleep and said he saw nothing.
Yeah figures
That's a sweet ride. Sorry to hear about your loss, though. Buy, hey, buy me an air ticket to London and I'll find it for you. I'm on the case! Happy riding!
Thanks man, I am pretty pleased with my choice and tbh just looking forward to hitting the open road

I like the ''Sometimes I'm nonchalant and jaunty'' best

Thanks guys, we are cremating the old boy on the 18th and taking his ashes to Ireland where he lived for the last 20 years, once there we will have a traditional Irish wake, which the thought of makes my liver quiver with fear

Some people need to learn to make the best of what you got, this game is still fun and those who see it as not relevant should go just plug into their games consoles and be done with it.
