Thing is though, getting in used to be as simple as posting your nation link. Now we have an academy process. I remember one time late last year when we went on a recruiting frenzy and our applicant AA had 190 members or something ridiculous like that. Sadly, a lot of new nations just don't log in past day 1.-Bama ^this (grouchmarx was it? once he finds more time for activity-expect our member count to jump a ways ) and this is rare: a case where you gain members but lose score...poor GPA thnx for update (and pray that last drop we took earlier will be the last one for a long while) *knocks on wood* Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Recruiting comes very easy to us since people see the name "Sparta" and automatically want to join because of 300 (We can't deny that that movie has generated more recruits than almost any pre-made message could for us). Most of our official recruiting drives are quite successful. Unfortunately, it's hard to keep every new member active in the game when they're constantly fapping to Gerard Butler's muscles on the TV, so we had a long pocket of inactivity within the alliance for a long time. Yep, we had the same issues (though not the 300 and fapping stuff ). We certainly didn't have the activity you'd expect from a 750-member alliance in those days. We had 750 members at one point, but we've been in the 200-300 range for a long time now. I think you guys passed 800 nations on the AA. Of course maybe 50 of those were ghosts, lol.
