Not to be outdone, the New Polar Order also moves by a quarter-point, but puts their change in bright-red so we can all see it better. Looks like they'll just have to go through the fun of moving to within a point of a pass all over again. Also notable for gains today are the Green Protection Agency and the New Pacific Order. Apart from that, our big story today comes from The Order Of Light, who gains nearly half a point to get me thinking once more about a race for 12th. History warns me to err on the side of caution, as these guys have a track record of leading me on and teasing me, only to never return my calls, accept my facebook friend requests, or even acknowledge my persistent knocking on their front foor for fifteen minutes when I've stalked them down over the course of ten months. The rest of this stuff is pretty standard. The Viridian Entente loses a couple of nations, and misses their opportunity to pass the Mushroom Kingdom, while The Legion also gets a shoutout with their double-digit gain. Ragnarok has a large gain to stay within half a point of The Grämlins, while the Commonwealth Of Sovereign Nations puts up some good numbers to take today's only pass; moving ahead of Athens. Finally, Invicta gains a tenth of a point of Tier Two, while the Siberian Tiger Alliance equals that amount with a loss. I've occasionally played with the idea of suggesting "CN:Battle Edition", where players could take their SE nations, "copy" them into Battle Edition, and fight it out with absolutely no impact on their SE nation.
