1. An alliance bloc so great, that even their defeats became victories. A legacy of triumph without tyranny. Our like will never be seen again.
 2. Cheers, CJ. Also, the lack of quality in the discourse in the last few pages of discussion are, I think, reinforce the decision here. At least Dopp could do it with style, even if he knows he's wrong :p
 3. At some point I might write more, but for now it seems appropriate that I only have the time and energy for something short. I've been gone for a while now, staying only because the alliance would ask me to. Eventually, the alliance reached the same state I had. We set out goals, had a vision, and achieved them both. We crushed coalitions, mastered the political game like few have, and sat the seat of power for longer than I could have ever dreamed. We came, we saw, we conquered. And now, instead of slowly rotting away, we choose to depart with dignity, and on our own terms. We leave as victors, people who were a part of something incredible. Something that had never been seen before in this world, and likely will never be seen again. So, with my fellow members, I tip my hat to you, and wish you the best in reversing this trend. Nothing is beyond your grasp. When I founded this alliance, LUE had been shattered and I had gone from being on many PZI lists to being a member of the original GOONS. It wasn't a straight run to the top, and we never commanded the largest force, but we still reached the top. It has been an honor to be a part of this community. Like all communities, it is imperfect and has its flaws, but there's no question - it was the best this world has had to offer. I challenge you to follow our example. Make something better. Play the political game better than we did. If you do, you will dominate everyone. I'll enjoy watching from my rocking chair. I'll probably put together a more formal goodbye post later, since this is about MK, not me. Then again, I always wanted it that way, even if I somehow became a religious icon along the way... So long, all, and thanks for all the fish. It has been fun.
 4. I just wanted to get a song out of my head...
 5. We've come too far to give up who we are, so let's raise the bar and our cups to the stars
 6. A masterstroke. So masterful you didn't even know it when you did it :P
 7.
Congrats on the promotion. What about the powers and privileges inappropriate?
Come by after midnight and he'll show you.
 8. A Mushroom Kingdom Diplomatic Missive Through his loyal service and fanatical activity, The 1337 Guy has led the Kingdom well, shouldering the burden of Crown Prince. However, he has gone missing, and we cannot have a Kingdom without an active Crown Prince. Therefore, exercising one of my few remaining responsibilities as King of the Mushroom Kingdom, I hereby declare the following, effective immediately: Infinite Citadel is now Crown Prince of the Mushroom Kingdom, and is granted all powers and privileges appropriate. For those unfamiliar, the Crown Prince is the de facto ruler of the Kingdom, and should be your principle point of contact for all affairs. He speaks with the voice of the Throne, and through his actions my will is done. Infinite Citadel has been a loyal member since 2008, a disciple of Stumpy who rejoined MK after the BAPS War. I am confident that, with his wisdom and strength, the Kingdom will ascend to even greater heights. For reference, the current government of the Kingdom is: King: Archon Crown Prince: Infinite Citadel Lord High Treasurer: King Brandon Lord High Vanguard: ArneS Lord High Director: Epiphanus Enclave: Azaghul, Ardus Signed this 23rd day of October, 2012 Archon King of the Mushroom Kingdom
 9. It's really nice to see all of the positive comments from both sides of the battlefield being aimed toward NATO. It hasn't always been this way for them, so that's awesome. Well fought.
 10. A worthy adversary, a good man, and a friend. You will be missed. Rest well, sir. My thoughts are with you, and have been.
I can sadly say ive known about this for a couple weeks now and have been deeply bummed out by the news. Moo was a very good guy and someone I knew somewhat on an OOC RL level. I will fondly remember all the good times we had together not only in this game, on Skype and other venues. When he had his accident one of my best memories is getting together with a few other CN people and buying Moo a "NPO" engraved Cowbell.......NPO you have my fullest and deepest condolences on your loss, CN as a whole mourns today for whom was a very great person, leader and friend... o/ Moo-Cows, you will always be remembered in my thoughts fondly.

That was the best cow bell. Keep ringing it in paradise, my friend. You deserve your rest...and yes, now you can finally have Pacific Avenue, and all of the red properties. o/ Moo
I'm proud to have my name on that bell along with you guys.
 11. Truth be told, I just wanted to waste some time. But this is just depressing. Back in 06-07 we had to actually try and make points. You people are just pathetic. It's nothing but opinion-as-fact or trying desperately to sell !@#$%^&* as reality. Dear god. How I long for Josef Thorne, Philosopher, or even !@#$@#$ Z'ha'dum at this point.
 12.
drivel that i'll individually quote in a moment
Oh you're cute. Really, you are. Here, let's try this one again:
After noCB, NPO really could've dispersed you guys quite easily from MK. They didn't, and therefore you survived for a long time by Moo's mercy, but this point of contention is really distracting from the main points.
Gonna just leave rsox's reply here, since that was pretty awesome...so here's that part.
I'm not sure what's funnier...that you say MK was granted mercy because NPO didn't give us the FAN treatment, or that you compare us to NPO and then say we can't keep talking about how bad NPO was compared to MK.
And then I'll add a comment about it really wasn't all that much of Moo giving mercy, and leave it at that. You weren't there and you don't know, and while it's hilarious watching you try to pretend you were, it's also a little irritating. Though you did just give me a fond memory of Philosopher (the one who *was* there, if you were wondering), so thanks I guess. Let's see, what's next:
1. Everyone knows that networks of spies coming from one alliance are useless these days unless that alliance is in a FAN-like situation
Just leaving this one here to laugh about. Nothing I feel like publicly saying.
2. That last comment was a pathetic personal jab. It was just a cookie-cutter, in that you could use it on anyone and it'll have the same condescending value. I'm not insulted by your implication that I lack... whatever you implied, but I am shocked you would take the trouble to insult me yet not make the insult something personalized to me. I'm an attackable guy, and I'm, here making arguments about your specific past, yet the best insults you hurl at me are just typical charges of incompetence?
I hate to break it to you, but you're pretty much irrelevant and unremarkable as an individual in this game/world, so there was no point in bothering to invest in personalizing the response. You decided to take a shot at the collective set of my allies from 5 years ago, so I took one back. I do enjoy holding up mirrors and seeing what people say when they judgmentally respond. "Pathetic personal jab." I do hope you take note. Really, I do. Oh, and before you take the obvious (albeit flawed) route of saying something to the effect of "But you just personally attacked me again by commenting on my relevance wah hypocrite!" I'd like to note that I'm making an observation-based judgment derived from years of dealing with the politics of this world.
And what's so special about how an alliance "operates?" We're not talking Fortune 500 companies here, bub.
And this shows that you actually completely missed the implication of the remark, which is actually pretty hilarious. Considering the few queries I got about this post I'm pretty sure it was hard to miss, but uh, hey, it actually helps reinforce the point I was trying to make pretty well.
 13.
Last I remember they got so dog-whipped in GWIII They disbanded like !@#$%*es, then came back as MK and within a year were only allowed to survive by Moo's mercy. I don't recall them having any decent or significant spy resources anywhere, and for an alliance of "ZI targets" NPO sure was merciful to them all the way until antekarmatic times. The only alliance for whom Cotillion's statement would be true would be fore Vox. They were literally an alliance of ZI targets who recruited a bunch of spies.
Your memory is more than a little off, so in addition to coming off like a jackass with your opening you also wound up an ignoramus. Impressive. Let's take this piece by piece:
Last I remember they got so dog-whipped in GWIII They disbanded like !@#$%*es
I'm not sure who the 'they' is here, but looking over the founder's list the majority of members were not from alliances that disbanded in GW3. Unless you're trying to imply that MK=LUE which, while more or less true in the grand scheme of things, was not the case at the time of our founding. We hadn't picked up our other half (Vanguard) yet. Hell, after leaving LUE I had couped CDS and was serving in GOONS FA coterie at the time of founding, which leads me to...
then came back as MK and within a year were only allowed to survive by Moo's mercy.
...the fact that Moo didn't have **** to do with anything. MK was a GOONS project, through and through, and built with the specific intent to help oppose the Orders (see: Unjust War). There are three people whose "mercy" allowed those on ZI lists to get off of them and eventually helped MK form: banned member, DarkSol, and Helsbecter. That's not to say NPO wasn't willing to get me off the ZI list (in return for my service), but it was Dilber who led that effort, not Moo. I actually remember a screen of Ivan flipping pretty bad that Moo would have let GOONS do this, which leads me to...
I don't recall them having any decent or significant spy resources anywhere
Any competent alliance with a decent or significant spy resources should be unknown to the vast majority of the population, which would include you. Of course, this assumes you're familiar with how a competent alliance operates, which is unlikely.
and for an alliance of "ZI targets" NPO sure was merciful to them all the way until antekarmatic times.
A comparison of terms between those given by NPO and those given by MK would contradict the implications of that statement. Trust me though, I'm sure we all miss the days of EZI, disbandments, wonder deletion, and the like. We can work on that though, if you'd like, and see how well people and alliances deal with being properly "dog-whipped." You talk an awful big talk for contributing next to nothing, I wonder if you'd do any better than the "!@#$%*es" you call out. And lastly...
The only alliance for whom Cotillion's statement would be true would be fore Vox. They were literally an alliance of ZI targets who recruited a bunch of spies.
I'll admit I'm hazy now on Vox's history, but if memory serves most of their membership and founders weren't on PZI lists at the time of founding, only once they actually declared open resistance. The initial point you were trying to contest was that MK was founded by PZI targets and spies. Many of MK's founders had been on PZI lists and had gone to great lengths to get off of them (or had simply rerolled), while for many in Vox Populi their trips to that ever-so-fun list to be on came about as a result of their joining. But it's ok, I can understand being upset when "!@#$%*es" went on to rule the world while you wound up as nothing.
