I agree and I won't limit it to the military hierarchy. They know what is best for them and they have the political capital and military strength/importance to impose their will to their allies, as prime alliances usually do.

I believe that in BR level they owe you some respect, as Pacifica's BR owes, for example, to TPF and Invicta, no matter the path they selected (Invicta), or will follow (TPF). I have a feeling that this is indeed the case for the majority of Polar, but this is not what I read here, hence my comment. Apart from that, in alliance politics level, this is war so everything goes ;)

I was expecting some respect for STA by Polaris, their stance is disheartening. Apart from that, IRON stance is disappointing, not that they care, since they have decided their path. I am sure that they will reap the fruits of their actions soon, as happened numerous times in the past. Good luck STA.

These logs and neither surprising, nor revealing. IRON had all the potential to be a big player, but always is underachieving. I believe that this time they lost their last chance and their fate will be the one of Legion. Concerning the topic title question: I was not a fan of ODN for some time (sine my early days as GATO in 2006), but I believe that the last 2-3 years (time is fuzzy when you have signifcant distance from the world politics) they learnt from their past and they built a consistent character, which is the only way to exist as a relevant alliance in planet Bob. A lesson that IRON should have learnt (and I am saying it as a sympathizer).

I wouldn't expect anything less from STA, since although we were on opposing "sides" for many years; I respect and like you for your consistency. TPF is surely an alliance worthy of such friendship. Have fun.

I spoke about the Body Republic, and our respect and love for TPF at that level is undisputable. I suppose that STA and NpO have a similar relation ;)

Our relation with TPF is beyond the OWF. They know that our Body Republic loves and respect them, no matter the circumstances. They are our most valuable ally and friend. Have fun brothers.

Expected, but makes me a bit sad nevertheless.

This is a sad day for planet Bob. The most worthy adversary, in political level, in planet Bob and surely the second most influential alliance ever existed (biased opinion ;)). A determined group of people (a quality that was there from the LUE era) that I respected for their effort and their dedication in achieving their goals. It was a great ride gentlemen, thank you for making this interesting.

Congrats to both signatories, I am sure that this will be a successful pact for two alliances that understand the concept of respect both to their allies and members and of common sense.

Good luck on this, personally I like CoJ's style, although we usually are not on the same page and I have still a soft spot for Polaris (I admit that ageing made me too sentimental).

I have to say that I enjoyed being led by Brehon, after all I had the privilege to be one of his first contacts in Pacifica several years ago and I was sure that he would make an impact, which he did. A most interesting, enjoyable and fruitful era o/ I am sure that Farrin will be as successful in a changing world o/

Being in planet Bob since early 2006, I can only say that this is a giant step for both alliances, a step I would never expect to happen. It is always good to overcome ancient grudges, so I am happy that this has been signed. I hope this pact will serve both alliances.
