1. [
NPO has agreed to join DH and PB.
I don't think this is as unorthodox as it seems. An interesting peace term worth considering
 2. Excellent read comrade.
Sadly, many of our lower-tier nations have been facing formerly large NPO nations that possess a full complement of economic wonders, military wonders and nuclear weapons. We knew going in what the consequences would be, so this really comes as no surprise. If, however, the upper-tier of Pacifica would like to grace our own upper-tier with a few declarations of war, I'm sure we would be pleased to provide instruction on how to fight a war against more evenly-matched opponents. On, and congratulations to your new Empress. As she was the blustering fool whose overweening sense of self-importance nearly provoked a declaration of war from NoR in the middle of the Karma Conflict, I am sure she will be the ideal person to show the tact and humility that will be required to bring this conflict to a speedy resolution.
It is always good reading the opinion of the man that is the epitome of morality, chivalry and of course double standards in the Planet Bob. In general I think that the opinion of a man is as good as his consistency, and yours consistency is close to nonexistent. The quality of your reasoning is approaching the one of a long lost resident of planet Bob, Andaras.
I'm fairly certain there is little more we can learn from you.
Indeed, we can learn how you can put your tail between your legs when your alliance is facing a tough war, how you can bite the hand that feeds you and numerous other qualities that can make your alliance explode several times. Of course the most significant lesson that they can teach us is how to always blame somebody else for your own failure.
CN: Still seeing female alliance leadership as a joke.
I think it is time for CN to feel what female leadership means.
 3. Happy to see this, wishes for a swift rebuilding to NSO.
 4. It’s nice having you around, even if your activity in the OWF decreased with time. Hope you still enjoy CN and will enjoy it in the future as well. Also I wouldn’t be against some PC attitude in CN “…I am CN ”, nah, i am wrong, times changed.
 5.
The best way for these guys to disband GOONS would have been to DENY us war, not bring us the best war in the history of anything; countless totally inept nations, over 30 pages of hi-lariously tragic battle results and responses to surrender requests, and of course at the end when we get our "We Fought Literally the Worst Coalition Ever" t-shirts. XXL of course.
Firstly, and taking a step back from the usual thrash talk, I am not here to question GOONS attitude towards this war. Most (if not all) of my GOONS opponents were determined and taking into consideration the circumstances (small WC) their war effort was good (of course I am not a fierce warrior or anything). On the other hand bringing together some rough numbers it seems that about 150 members of the GOONS alliance departed Bob since the start of this war. I don’t believe that these nations departed only due to the war, but it doesn’t matter as the result is the same, some relative developed nations departed. On the other hand there is an influx of volunteers from your homeland that compensate for these losses, but these “green” volunteers are not very well prepared for this war, and I don’t mean their morale but their development and WC. Aid fall figures seems big, but in reality 15M every 10 days is not a big number for developing your nation (a bit, in order to inflict some damage) and keep something in the side for the war effort, especially taking into consideration that there is a nuke holocaust in the low tiers and that many nations have a formidable WC. My personal opinion is that a saturation point will be reached, when and how it will be handled I don’t have a clue and personally I don’t care, as I am only a foot soldier.
It's because at this level I can engage more combatants at a steadier rate (both in and out of war), I can provide crucial tasks in the advancement of my alliance and its allies, and it's always been fun to crush my enemies, to see them driven before me, and to hear the lamentations of their women.
I feel a bit dirty as I have only recently tasted the dark side of (very) low NS warfare, but I echo the above statement. I especially like that there are still people that count the nukes they received, the naivety of youth. I fear that this war will make a monster out of me
 6. Congratulation on peace, glad to see a fair peace agreement.
 7. I won't lie, I laughed a bit with this :
As per terms here is the DoomHouse acknowledgment of defeat and apology topic. http://forums.cybern...dpost&p=2672005
it was creative. On a more serious note, I can understand why DH tries to end this war as fast as possible, but both the terms offered and incidences like this won’t help you to achieve your goal.
 8.
I am sure I am not the only one to notice that you describe yourself as a soldier beneath your avatar. I find that quite humorous in light of the fact that you have yet to come out off peace mode. A barracks soldier. Must be nice. Your signature is funny as well for much the same reason. I suspect that the only thing you have killed while in hippy mode is time. Out of the sheer generosity and the pure kindness of my heart, I made you a brand new signature graphic which at least is honest. From the above it is very apparent that, like Ivan Moldavi, your "blood still runs with the cold resolve of Order." How many nukes have you eaten in this conflict? How many comrades within the NPO have you rescued from bill lock? How many of your comrades have been comforted knowing that you are in the trenches right beside them? Are your minions comfortable with the fact that your current nation strength is higher than it was prior to this conflict? Are the real NPO soldiers comfortable with your decision (and those of your elite peers) to never fight in this conflict? Oh, you are a killer all right; a real soldier's soldier. I bet you look all pretty in your garrison uniform.
It is a pity people claiming that they value ideas like honor and integrity resort to slander in order to push their agenda. A soldier is bound to follow his orders and a man of honor should know that, but alas it seems that honor and integrity are just empty words when politics come into the equation. Jumping into the fray is the easiest decision, but following orders is what makes a soldier. For the matter in hand I think that many Pacificans gave a clear answer to the proposition. I suppose it is time to bring in the rest of DH in order to try and further support your goal. After all the GOONS members flux is approaching saturation.
 9.
I'm not going to read the entire thread, but has it been pointed out already that the NPO once served up almost the exact same terms to someone they were at war with? I hope no one is crying about these terms and saying they're unfair/unprecedented
I believe that this card has been overplayed during the Karma war; you can’t use it for ever, or if you want to try adding something original. For the matter in hand, DH propose a path for us to achieve peace, we feel that it is not in our best interest, so we (kindly ) reject it. [OOC: I liked the cartoon; it seems a rather accurate description of the father – child interaction OOC]
 10. Never forget to back collect doing an improvement swap during a war, obviously your improvement slots are unaffected by the mayhem.
 11. What people don’t understand is that Pacifica change and evolves, as it's in her nature (the same applies obviously to some other alliances out there). History allows people to reevaluate their actions and theirs actions’ consequences. As we know most of the times this kind of self-criticism come to maturity during or after a difficult phase. For us it was Armageddon (Karma) war. Personally I have seen a notion of guilt from some of my comrades during the Armageddon (Karma). This guilt was cleansed as the aftermath of the war, and transformed to determination due to the recent aggression by the same alliances. FAN is a different story. After the Karma war and in the frame of the reevaluation process and self-criticism there were people feeling guilty for the second FAN war, while the newer members were seeing it as overkill. Obviously the Armageddon war did little to take care of the consciousness of guilt concerning FAN, so an internal process was evolving bringing us here. Add to the self-criticism the fact that many Pacificans respect FANers for the determination and resilience they displayed and you have a sincere apology that we don’t expect nor want to affect the war. The only sure thing is that we are not going to ask for reparation from FAN when this war ends
And moving with the relative apology speed of the Vatican...
That's an interesting parallelism.
 12. Congratulations, may your rebuilding be swift.
 13. Welcome to the meatgrinder, I sure will enjoy this, after all the 3 last war cycles I got only offensive wars (at least my last one is a FANer, so he keeps it interesting).
o/ Nordreich best of luck in exterminating NPO
Don't get your hopes up too high. I suppose that if DH+FAN+NoR can't cover our low NS piranhas maybe the war machine of Sparta can lend them a hand...
 14. War reparations are a mean to achieve a specific goal. Most of the times they are intended to keep the losing side from gaining power soon, thus making the winners more comfortable in their power structure. Justice has nothing to do with it. The question is whether war reparations are successful in that or not. They sure can negate the threat for some time, but imposing them can create a motion of alliance patriotism that can backfire to the winners. Also when overused they can create a motion of disliking from the blocs outside of the power structure, thus making the position of the power structure worse than before. Overall they are neither justified, nor unjustified they exist because the winners think that it is the right political decision and the gains (more political wise than economically) outweigh the risk. Of course the case of peripheral alliances can be a different story and it is the mentality of the alliance that decides whether reparations are justified or not. For peripheral alliances that goes for reparations I believe the main reason is more the one of rebuilding (or/and greed). Since they know their position in the food chain they have no actual reason to care how people outside their political sphere (or bloc) perceive them, as long as their superiors (power bloc wise) are OK with it. In this case again the reparations are neither justified, nor unjustified since taking reparations from the ones that de facto are in the wrong (the loosing side) for the harm they inflicted can be perceived as a logical and justified action, even if it looks unjustified by a majority that don’t have a say in the specific case.
 15. Congratulations on peace and wishes for a swift rebuilding to Olympus and NAC.
 16.
It's because you don't find it beautiful. Now go away and think about what you've done.
So people prosecute free speech and good taste now eh …, will the future be better for us if I say that at least I worship Johan and occasionally my bunker is filled with the divine sound of Falalalan? Anyway I slip away to think what I have done...
 17.
This is why NPO is getting rolled.
So we are getting rolled because the TOP-secret-sexy platypus was uncovered despite my personal objection ,or I just don't get the reference...
 18. Congratulations for this great achievement. The fact that for the most part of your existence you were politically consistent makes this achievement even greater.
 19. Congrats to both parties on peace. Nebula-X, wishes for a swift rebuilding.
image
Some things should stay a secret
 20.
I could sell my infra and land and you still wouldn't have anyone in my range in war mode
I will sacrifice myself and take some of your tech if you like or you can organize some internal fights, thus softening your nations a bit, also I heared TOP has some juicy nations out of PM, oh..choices, choices .
 21.
You do know that only half of that ns loss is due to combat damage, right? The rest is nations leaving the AA and being deleted.
This is our cunning plan.We will bore you to death with our PM manoeuvre, its this or you should sell infra and come down to have a party, there are some shrooms here already
 22.
Yeah. We at legion want you to stop fighting this silly war so we can get on with watching our infra inexorably rise. Loud bangs scare us and we are afraid of all the hostility. Hence our current tactic of sticking our heads in the sand until all the nasty boys go away again.
I think it is rather silly to impersonate a member of the Legion, since you are a member of GOONS for all your CN existance. I also chuckle a little with how people are always ready to bash legion, but it is another story.
 23.
As I said the first time you posted this, I'm glad I inspired you. But, just like the last time, it still isn't funny. And it's getting less cute.
Sometimes the inspired work is as good as the Muse
This must be the time of the month where a disgruntled member of Legion comes to OWF bearing gifts.
I think he is a member of GOONS for all his existance in CN (47 days old, 46 days GOONS AA). Although I don't get why people bash Legion, stop derailing the thread, it is about us (as are all the threads in reality since we are the the center of Bob )
