  1. To me the only way the game won`t be totally dead by the end of next summer is to add a United Nations. It will at least allow the game to live another 3 months to a year. People will be interested in the game agian.

Now I'm not an "awooga, awooga, abandon ship/the sky is falling" guy, but don't you think the lack of stuff to do is part of why we still have the nations we do? All anyone needs to do is collect once a month or so.

Honestly, I'll never understand why people think game changes will somehow increase nation count. If you look at it, game updates actually decreased them. When there were many more nations in existence at a time, wasn't the game a lot simpler? If you don't like reading and/or posting on here or at least your own alliance forums, you're probably at a greater chance of leaving. So, while this probably isn't a new argument, shouldn't any "game updates" come from we the players?

  2. I'd say the Titans win by a lot more. The Jaguars have an awful secondary, they cut the best QB on their roster, etc. etc. Matt Hasselbeck is still alright, but nowhere near the awesomeness he was in 2005. Still decent enough to get the Titans going down the field.

You're probably right, and I always forget about Britt.

And I'd take Bolts over Minny. V-Jax is back! Bolt Up! (In other words, I hope frickin' Norv Turner stops being so passive and fires up the team to avoid yet another slow start)

I'm a Vikings fan, and my girlfriend is a Chargers fan. You can see how tough it would be for me to break down and pick SD.

As to tonight's game, I think Green Bay really studied the Saints-Seahawks playoff game last season on to how to tear apart the Saints' D. They looked really, really bad in the first half. Green Bay had okay D, but it looked rusty as well. I kind of like shootouts though, better for fantasy stats.

They knew they were going to play them as soon as the season ended, so that may have helped a little. Of course, NO knew too. The Pack having pretty much the same team helped I'm sure.

Yeah it seemed like everyone, Saints in particular, saw grass for the first time. lots of slipping and falling.

I hope Charles Woodson gets fined hard for that punch. He probably should have been ejected.

In one of my leagues, I had Finley and Jennings, but played against Rodgers.

  3. Ravens are favored to win, and I pick them to win. Pack is favored and I picked them to win. These are just the upsets based on the lines. Any other game I went with the favorite aside from those three. I agree with you on the Tampa Bay game, I think Freemen will be another top 5'er in a few years.

The possibles are just ones I thought were close enough where I wouldn't be surprised if it went the other way, but still went with the favorite.

Also, I sort of like the Raiders too, I just don't think they'll be any good until Al Davis hands over the reins. He just makes strange decisions.

EDIT: BAL/PIT Should be an upset pick because I think PIT is a slightly better team but Vegas seems to really like BAL and gave them -2 at home.
