Analysis on the Pacifican Blitz

How a diet rich in lean baby meat can help you perform better at update too

Tired of a lackluster performance when it counts most? Are your update blitzes weak and unimpressive? The Francograd R&D facilities have been hard at work and are now ready to present the most recent research on how baby meat affects your update performance. Feel stronger, be more active, and impress your friends through the consumption of baby meat!

After stuffing Pacifican soldiers with prime, lean baby meat, R&D ran their first test trial against GOD, with out-of-this-world results. Within one minute of an official Declaration of War, baby-fed soldiers declared 34 wars, with a total of 79 wars declared within 1.5 hours of update. This filled an incredible 47% of GOD's defensive slots, with a further 37 wars declared the next day, bringing the total percentage to 69. Control group results on 6/26/12 show the dramatic effects of a diet rich in baby food. VE, who the scientists of Francograd R&D posit eats a diet of only tofu, managed to declare just 71 wars against 194 nations out of peace mode, filling only 12% of NPO's available defensive slots. Baby meat consumed by Pacifican soldiers was shown to have some residual effect, with the NPO able to retaliate with 66 wars against VE that same night.

These results can be yours! For the low price of only 500,000 units of technology, your alliance too can experience the power of lean baby meat. Don't wait; call 1-800-NPOwned to get your baby meat today!

Warning: consumption of baby meat may lead to uncomfortable degrees of blue balls, high amounts of hailing, and difficulty calming down.

The People Speak: Member War Opinions

Members of the Body Republic of the New Pacific Order had these things to say regarding our current conflict.

From Maelstrom Vortex- Impero has a secret Haarp weapon hidden away somewhere. He used it last night and knocked the power out for both me and my squad comrade at our residences. Clever !@#$%^&. We were about to start attacks on him.. then suddenly both Necoho and I's power went out at our homes. Fortunately for me, I was still in my secret lair and command bunker.. but Comrade Necoho is still having to communicate by Morse Code!

From Iceknave-
On VE: Mhmm, well, VE's "blitz" obviously failed, implying our counter blitz was successful. Throw in the pummeling of our allies moving in as well, and VE's in for a world of hurt. Couple that with their unwillingness to use bank nations and/or using the ALL out war mode strategy means if the war drags on long enough, they will be crippled for a significant amount of time in terms of stats and ability to project military power. Remember Armageddon!

On GOD: Positionally, GOD's is in even worse shape with most of their defensive slots filled and taking a pummeling from us + NG. And also, if you're gonna declare a war, please make sure your people know how to fight. Plus, with most of your defensive slots filled, you're in for a pummeling of a life time.

On MK: MK's CB is utter ****.

On Us: I've been very pleased with the efforts of our Mil Com, High Com, and the Imperial Staff in ensuring the war runs extremely smoothly and efficiently while ensuring the relative safety of our allies and keeping the Body Republic informed as developments arise.

o/ Mil Com
o/ High Com
o/ Imperial Staff
o/ IRON/TLR/GATO/NATO/TPF/OCN/TIO/NG

From Maelstrom Vortex-
I would like to personally thank Impero for the deflationary pressures which are making my mars wonders cheaper by the day.. Ironically.. with every step closer to the stone ages, the red planet becomes closer. I interpret this as I am getting nuked to mars.

From Colonel Herzog-
It has been a long time since we have been in a war that we have had a modicum of control over. It feels good to steer our own destiny again. Being able to take on GOD feels good too. That all the combatants for and against us in our little front have show such respect and dignity towards each other is pleasing as well. Respect and dignity are things our world is sorely lacking at the moment, but maybe just maybe this war, despite it's unclean spark (to use a vast understatement), will help with that.

From Ryan Christopher-
I'm increasingly proud of how well not only Pacifica but our Allies have taken the fight to not only GOD, but also VE. The war has turned out to be just a beat down on GOD and VE.

From Master Commander-
An selected excerpt provided by the Helghan Ministry of Proper Thought and Zeal

Over the skies of Pyrrhus nuclear fire darkens the heavens, blocking out the sun. We stare up at the ominous clouds above us and we know it is radioactive ash. With every breath we draw, poison chokes our throats and burns at our lungs. Our enemies once again condemn us to darkness. Once grand plazas now burn with the bodies our dead, thousands upon thousands of them. Out in the country they set fire to the landscape, burning crops and killing every livestock until they left nature herself bleeding and rotting. Their battle tanks tread over the ruins of our schools and museums flooding our streets like rats. Their soldiers march upon command through our cities thinking they are unopposed.

What they do not know was that we wanted them to do this. Like weak children they flock to their spoils, leaving their positions undefended for a vital short moment. That was when we struck. Our forces rain down on their position killing their garrison and making away with spoils of our own. Through we lack the numbers to engage our enemies through convention warfare, our armies thrive has guerrillas, stalking our enemy and striking. As I speak our nation is reforming and rearming a convention army to fight and die. Conscription is at 100%. Those that reject the call of their nation are being dealt with presently. The bodies of traitors hang from the shadows of skyscrapers or are pushed to the front lines. It is their that they see for themselves what our enemies think of their cries for mercy. Words of peace and surrender will NEVER have a place on our lips. Those that are deemed redeemable will be thrown in reeducation camps, where our specialists peel back their minds and discover what loyalty lay underneath their flesh.

Our enemies seek to plunge us into darkness. But what they do not know will be their doom. The forces of our Empire have bath in nuclear fire since the wars with Doomhouse and Fark. Our cities are living necropolises of war. Our factories run from the oil of corpses. Our museums hold no artifacts except the skulls of our heroes. Our schools are stocked with guns rather then books, for Knowledge hinders the growth of the nation. Our universities study the arts of war and the martyrdom of our people. Our children learn to enjoy pain before they walk. We are more wolves then men. We honor no one during times of peace. When nuclear payloads escape our defense systems our people throw their arms in salvation, for through their impending deaths they have ensure their journey to Great Warzone in Heaven. Our people know no peace even in the afterlife. Our place is in war. Our landscape is set aflame NOT from the work of our enemies but from the fiery hooves of the Red Horseman. His call echoes in our dreams. With every meal our lips taste his words. War comes and we welcome it. Our enemies seek to plunge us into darkness. That is their doom.

For our people thrive in darkness.

The forces of the Viridia are halted along our borders. Their soldiers did not expect the guerrillas resistance place upon them. Around every corner and alley, every street and avenue we hound them. Their forces flee while we march over the bodies of our dead. Mighty warriors these forces from Viridia. What they lack in individual strength they make up with strokes of brilliant strategy. Their commanders know the ways of war, much more so then those who led the laughable forces of Fark and Sparta years back. The motives of these Viridian soldiers are noble and honorable, going to war for essentially the same reasons as Pacifica.Through we hold no dislike to the forces of Viridia they will bleed just the same. Their loses are staggering. Every soldier they throw at us weakens them to our allies that surround them. Every spoil they take from us is vaporized under a great fireball of purifying atomic destruction. Every assault upon us leaves them open for more costly defeats. Every stroke they deliver, a counter stroke is hiding and waiting for them. Their commanders shift their strategy to the complete defense of their cities. The forces of Oceania, IRON, the Phoenix Federation and Pacifica pound at their doorsteps. Our fighter jets and bombers soar over their skies wrecking destruction at anything that flees. The Viridian forces against us have all but surrendered and halted their attacks. Instead they fire payloads upon payloads of nuclear missiles over our cities, wasting valuable silos to our SDI and to a target which welcomes the great fireball which sears our flesh and melts our eyes. Their spies hopelessly try to sabotage our nation, only to feel the cold metal of a pistol behind their head, living just long enough to hear the shot and see their brains splatter to the floor. Our Generals feel that the Viridian offensive has all but died out, and the entire alliance have shifted to the defensive for the duration of the war. Through the next cycle the Empire will regroup and rearm and restore a conventional army for new targets.

Our people had salivated upon hearing Pacifica's declaration of war. Weeks prior to our involvement the Helghan people had screamed for war against the forces of GOD. Streets were littered with burning GOD flags and recruitment for our armed forces had spiked up 200% percent. The people of the Helghan Empire remember the political machinations GOD had played during the aftermath of Armageddon. They had hidden behind alliances before, plotting, planning but now their time has come. Our armies had marched into their nations and whipped out their armies from existence. While we fight the forces of Viridia with mutual respect we do not do so with the forces of GOD. The Helghan people have no desire too. Instead their lips shout something else. We fight the nations of GOD with not only small arms, and tanks and bombers and nuclear missiles. The Helghan people fight GOD with hate. We will march into their villages and towns and cities with hate in our hearts, on our lips, on our crosshairs and in our bones, with hate in our mind and soul. We will lock ourselves toe to toe in combat with guns and knives and fists and boots and teeth. We will riddle their dead with bullets until they are unrecognizable. We will trample over their works of art and paint over them with their blood. We will snuff out their last breath under the darkness of radioactive ash and vaporize their civilization into dust. We will kick their cripples. The tears of their children will be the water used to bloom new crops. The blood in their veins will be used to make new vintages of wine. Their bones will be grounded and made into incense use to powder our wigs. Their numbers will feed into the factory furnaces which power the Helghan War Machine. A whole generation buried in one large pit and set aflame. The Helghan Empire will fight GOD with HATE. HATE. HATE. HATE. HATE.

HATE.

With a hate so bright our forefathers see it from the depths of Hell. The GOD nation already engaged by our forces lies smothering underneath the blacken remains of their cities. The soldiers pledged to protect their country melt away at very sight of us. Their army is crushed and splintered. Anarchy envelops their nation. The Red Horseman smiles. Our nuclear missiles will rain down over the remnants of their land until nothing is left. Not even a memory. A thousand years will pass and future generations will not see any traces of their civilization. The location of their cities will be sights of blacken earth, barren and toxic, covered with death. One won't will see a single brick or stone laid by their hands. In the future, one will only see our hate, one which we will seared into their lands with the heat of Napalm and Uranium. And through the hellish fire and smoke the Red Horseman will ride onward, his mount spewing flames from his nostrils. The furious trampling of his hooves will be the rhythm of our artillery. The deafening screech of his cry will be the whistling of our bombs. The sudden whip of his tail will be the hurricane of our nuclear explosions.

The Red Horseman rides onward. We are his fiery hoofprints.

<An excerpt recording from an official hourly broadcast to the Helghan People, spoken verbatim by Don Knotts, Minister of Proper Thought and Zeal>

From Kristospherein- Our allies rock.

I'm impressed with my fellow Oceania fighter who is joining me against a VE target.

I'm fighting 3 VE targets and they all suck. They don't have any warchests, they spend money on useless stuff (navies, buying infra and tech after nuke strikes, etc), and are turtling so as to avoid GAs.

Ever onward.

From GGreene-
All of our military victories are great, but let's not forget who REALLY set this up : our diplomats. This war has been a complete cluster$#@, with many traps being laid by many alliances. Our leadership has thus far skillfully put us in a position for successfully winning this war and maybe even escaping without too much damage (it's very early on, but things don't look bad thus far). I applaud our leaders for seeing the forest for the trees, avoiding pitfalls, and allying ourselves with others who are following through on their commitments. Well done.

From Horatio Longworth-
I'm impressed by many of VE's membership, who have been taking this beating with a good attitude. From what I've seen, VE membership has kept things classy and the banter I have engaged in has been truely enjoyable from my part. It's as if the bitterness from Karma is no longer there, and I'd personally be happy if we could move from this past grudge after the war is over.

From mastabadey-
Well 3 wars down and I must say I'm unimpressed by VE so far. Then again, 2 of the wars were against inactives and the 3rd against an opponent who was underfunded and overwhelmed by the number of enemy combatants. But he took his beating in stride and managed to %&$* up a quad or two along the way as well as carry on a pleasant and delightful conversation, for this I salute him. Now to pick new targets!

Figures my next target would have nukes....welp theres the end of my non-Anarchy streak....

From Daimos-
On the war = I do not agree how it started. The powers that be continue to bully a beaten bloc. If the alliances in SF want to progress and not simply survive than they need to disband. Only than will they get the targets off their backs from the current powers that be. Most of these alliance could have bright futures if they choose to leave SF.

On GOD = They should have attacked MK not NG an ally of NPO. I would have been content if this war remained between SF vs. DH.

On VE = Just like us, we are only in this war defending our allies. I always respected this alliance. I enjoyed fighting against them during Karma and I am enjoying fighting them in this war. I hope this will draw our two alliance closer. VE's membership have been classy considering their dilemma. Nice folks. Their behavior reminds me of FARK's during our last war.

For SF sake, I hope this war ends soon. No fun beating a dead horse.

From Litha-
I actually have had a change of heart.

I'd say this war has gone stale thanks too all the hand wringing and moralising. We stay out of war and they !@#$%* and moan about us being silent and deadly, we state a position and try to keep out and we get preempted. Then to add icing to the cake, we get moaning cause we stated a position and followed through!

I mean wtf is wrong with the brains of people. Its starting to seem like we can't do nothing right, so we might as well just say @#& it and be the !@#$%^&* they think we are. :emot-argh:

People of planet Bob,

Once again, the might of the New Pacific Order and her allies are shown on the battlefields. Testaments for this statement are the devastated and ruined nations of the alliances of GOD and VE. With a cumulative loss of around 4.5 million in nation strength for her enemies, NPO and her allies stand triumphantly and keep delivering the deathly blows to the nations of GOD and VE. Witness the might of the NPO below.

Interview with Farrin

A Look at Pacifica's Foreign Policy

Pacifica and her allies are on an ever-escalating bond, whether it be as simple as in it for the military benefit, or in it to better our relationship with each other. No matter what the reason, we could never attain or achieve greatness in the field of foreign affairs without Farrin and his staff, who work relentlessly around the clock to make sure Pacifica and her allies are on good ground. In some cases, they work to form allies, and to build everlasting relationships; in other instances it's as simple as making sure every ally or friend is happy and on good terms with NPO. Of all the things they do, there is no one better to highlight some of their major achievements then the Imperial Officer of Foreign Affairs, Farrin. In the upcoming interview Farrin and I shall discuss three treaties of which the NPO and her members can be very proud: IRON, Non Grata, and the rewording of our NATO treaty.

As you know Farrin we have recently had a rewording of our NATO treaty, do you believe this is a stride in the right direction for NPO and NATO, and do you see anything great coming from this in the future?

NATO has long been a loyal ally to the NPO and I've really enjoyed working with them. Recently, there was some internal strife with Ragnorak, a treaty partner of NATO's, and NATO's government kept us in the loop as to how it could affect us and pledged to work to resolve any issues that might arise. That's what's great about NATO - they'll work hard to make sure that nothing can damage the bond we have with them. The rewording of the treaty had two key benefits for both the NPO and NATO: first, it added an optional aggressive clause so that we can more easily strategize with NATO on the field of battle; and, more importantly, it serves as notice to the rest of Planet Bob that we put a lot of value into our relationship with NATO and support them completely.

Mr. Farrin what is your opinion on our current standings with Iron? Do you see us as militaristic Allies, Economic Partners, or two friends working for the betterment of NPO?

I couldn't be happier to be working with Mia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs for IRON, and her alliance in general. They're a great group of people, are a real powerhouse in the game, and have traditionally been an ally of ours. Even before we had an official treaty with them, we worked closely with their government, and now I foresee cooperation amongst our alliances increasing even more. I see them as an all-around ally - someone we can rely on during times of war as well as peace.

As you know Farrin Non Grata is one of our O level treaties, and is a reliable ally in CN, how do you see the NPO's relationship with Non Grata as of now, and where do you think this relationship will take us in the upcoming months?

Non Grata, like IRON, is a great group of people and I've really enjoyed getting to know their government and alliance in general. I'm not sure if an upgrade is in the near future for our treaty with NG, but I do know that they've already started working well with many of our other allies and seem to be a great fit with the people we like to surround ourselves with.

The three allies of which we have spoken all have treaties with us, could you please elaborate a little on the basic duties that we owe to each other while bonded in these treaties.

With any ally, the biggest obligation we owe them and vice versa is open communication. We completely and totally trust each and every single one of our allies, including the three we've discussed so far in this interview, and I feel as if they trust us in return. There are other obligations - obviously, in the case of IRON and NATO, we will defend them if they are attacked (and they will defend us) and with NG we have the option to do the same - but communication is the key for all of this. Our diplomats are the first people we turn to to ensure we're communicating with our allies on a constant basis, but all of you in the Body Republic are VERY STRONGLY ENCOURAGED (!!!) to help us out by visiting our allies' public channels and forums!

What is your proudest achievement in the field of Foreign Affairs, and why?

My proudest achievement really is the either luck or ability I've had thus far to hire the right people to assist me in the running of the Diplomatic Corps. The Legates serve as the hands of the FAIO, and all three who have either worked or continue to work for me in that position - Necoho and Jrenster, who currently hold the position, as well as Kean, who recently retired from it - have been wonderful. It's a real comfort to me knowing I don't have to constantly micromanage things and look over their shoulders - knowing that they're gonna do the best damn job they can all the time is awesome.

Do you see yourself working for Foreign Affairs in the upcoming year?

I serve, as do all Imperial Officers, at the pleasure of the Emperor. I've now served two Emperors, and I fully intend to keep serving them for as long as they'll have me!

Lastly could you please state your overview opinion of the current foreign affairs progress being made in CN today involving NPO.

I could not be more pleased with where the New Pacific Order has come, especially when you take the long view of comparing where we were post-Karma. We have gone from the dumps where none but our closest friends wanted anything to do with us to regaining our rightful place as one of the premier alliances in CN. Everyone has had a part in it, but knowing I've done a little to help get us there really puts a smile on my face.

That's the highlight of the current Foreign activities for you, I hope everyone benefited from Farrin's interview and gained a better understanding of our Foreign Affairs developments in CN, and to all the Staff of the Diplomatic Corps out there, keep up the good work, you keep NPO in the light and help her achieve new levels of greatness!

Game of Thrones Month

There comes a time when you get confused and wonder why all the forum names are changed, then you remember where you are. Here at Pacifica we like to have fun, and by fun I mean having themes for our forums. Sometimes there is nothing going on, other times we have barrels full of fun. Well for those who like long intros then yea, for those who don't then moving on. During the month of May we had one of these such themes. This time around we call it Game of Thrones. Yea your probably thinking, oh the books and TV series then you are the winner. Our lovely Emperor Brehon wanted to do a theme based on those things since I know he is a big fan of them. So he gives the order for a magnificent forum skin to be done. Media worked tirelessly to get it done. How awesome it was. Please give a cheer for the artists who helped make the skin; Kean, Lord of Darkness, Nerau, and Red. The other part if you remember is of course the profile name changes; as you know, just making a fancy forum skin is never enough. So everyone who wanted picked a character from the series. An example was our emperor Brehon who chose Eddard Stark. So in all a very fun month; if anything, it made the Body Republic more responsive for having to remember profile names with ruler names.

Game of Thrones is a TV series based on the Song of Ice and Fire book series by George R. R. Martin. It follows three different story lines: one which follows Eddard Stark through his trials and tribulations, another which deals with what goes beyond what the author calls the Wall, and a last one which deals with what is going stimulationsly in the east with the mother of dragons, Daenerys Targaryen. Each blends and mentions the others to create a very thrilling tale. How this correlates with us you may ask, well I will tell. It relates as there is balance, as Cyber Nations is Game of Thrones with us sitting at the center of the whole world and being able to throw the power around but choosing not to. So in a sense we are bringing order into chaos as we are keeping the world balanced and holding everything together in our little hands. We are truly going into our golden age once more as we have found inner peace with our friends and our not-friends. It also teaches us of Pax Pacifica as we must work together to get our alliance working meaner and leaner. And lastly we will be continuing theme months in the near future so stay tuned.

Victory in the Age of the Sword

Hail and come near, my Comrades! Let us speak of the past, the present, and the future. Francoism is about changing our roles to suit a new situation; it is a philosophy of self-reliance and adaptation.

Pacifica is an alliance of a proud people. We should not forget that. We were proud for a reason -- we came to Planet Bob with some of the most skilled men and women in the world, people who had conquered lands, commanded armies, and coordinated the diplomacy of major alliances. We came together in one alliance, the New Pacific Order and settled on the plains of Red. And oh no, our pride was not unfounded, for we flourished, and we grew, and we conquered. We felt the brittle bones of our enemies beneath our feet, and drank the blood of their babies.

That was our role. It was a glorious role, and glory indeed, is the right word, in the fullest sense. It is difficult to describe to those who did not live it how it felt. Nothing could stop us. No nation or alliance, friend or foe, could dictate the slightest thing to us, and no whim of ours was to be denied. We ruled a world justly at times, and certainly unjustly at others. For that was the role we chose to play.

But as it became clear that the role we need to play was changing, we did not change. And so came Karma, a history I'm sure many of you are more familiar with. Let me say a word about my role at the end of Karma, and in the destructive peace that followed. We needed to adapt; our role needed to change. No longer the conqueror, we had become conquered. No longer proud, we had become meek. It was a role, our new role. My role as Emperor in that time was to reconstruct a smaller, leaner alliance, shed of the dead-weight of a moribund leadership of the past. A Pacifica that met the world with a clenched fist needed to be seen with an open, supplicating hand. It was understood then, and much better understood now, that Karma would not be the first war Pacifica would lose. We had not yet paid in full the price the world wanted to take of us. Our blood had not been let sufficiently.

And so we lost another war, but we lost a war as a different alliance. With a unified, more active leadership, and we emerged in a better position, with a new Emperor, the Dragon Emperor, and here we are today, in the Age of the Sword. We became engaged in a great war, a war unlike wars of the past two years, a war unlike war many of our members have ever seen. And we won.

Our role has changed. While once we were defeated, now we are victors. And as victor, we must change again. We must recall that steely determination, that rigid self-discipline that served us so well in the past. Still in recalling the past, we must shed the arrogance, the pride that that led to Vox and Karma. But never forget, we are a proud people, proud for a reason. Our military, economics, and statesmanship were unparalleled for years, and only through self-inflicted wounds did we allow ourselves to fall. Now, we have the opportunity, the first in years, to stand up! To stand up not only for the good and glorious in our past, but to stand up and lead Pacifica into a new future!

I like the mentality of the members of the Body Republic of Pacifica. "Look! That guys are murdering innocent people and I think this is outrageous, but I'm pleased with the efforts we are making to help the murders with their bloody job. *insert mindless hail* ".

I continue to disapprove of the New Pacific Order's non-mandated support of Non Grata's indefensible and unprovoked act of aggression against the Random Insanity Alliance.

You say you disapprove of this war, yet you have volunteered to prosecute it's most heinous aspects.

I respectfully request you ask Walt Schmidt and SchenaRahII, how their wars vs VE went, or really anyone in NPO's top tier that is not a "bank nation"

Unfortunately those were the only 2 NPO nations I had the pleasure meeting on the battlefield before NPO asked for 800 extra nations to help them out.

Nice guys tho.

Good to see you enjoying the war, hope you guys GOD and VE get it out of your system and turn it into something positive.

We all know this thing started over FUBAR circumstances, hopefully it can finish in a more positive direction.
