BenPG unilaterally announced GATO's surrender before it was official. I remember having to tell my Initiative (VE) opponents that I wasn't supposed to honor the cease fire. And then about 4 hours later, GATO's government decided to actually go with the surrender.

But yes, the "go suck on a shotgun" comment was one of "those" moments.

The whole situation was unfortunate but the *massive* twist was so unexpected, explosive, far reaching and just plain insane that it is my vote for the #1 CN moment of all time.

Awww, thats cheating. For the twist to really have the full impact you have to endure the page after page of posts about how sorry everyone was for the OP and how the Initiative was full of heartless !@#$%^&* for attacking that nation.

Also I want to clear up something. That screenshot was taken from the Legions forum and was Crickets proposal to the Legion government [i]but the Legion government replied and rightly told him to NOT do it, to not even think about doing it, to leave Lances nation in hippy mode[/i]. Of course he did it anyway and the results were both epic and tragic. I have always had a RL rough spot in my heart for this incident as it was based in reality and spun way out of control really fast and Cricket got slammed even more than I thought he deserved.
