1.
Because your (plural familiar) snuggle-bunnies FA explanations are never along the lines of strategy, they are always "true frinds forever!" silliness. Not one mention in the OP, not one mention in the numerous replies to posts similar to mine. 6 pages in we get these two gems: This treaty exists very much in part to better defend CnG. From who?! What enemy lies beyond the mists that C&G's Doom House and Pandora's Box allies can't defeat them from without NPO's tech-depleted ranks thrown on top of the pile? As for animosity toward NPO, you've greatly exaggerated that animosity from our other allies. Furthermore, I seem to recall just defending NPO against FARK not to recently. That might ring a bell. There are apparently still alliances out there that want their shot at NPO for events that happened years ago. We'll be there to defend them should that happen again. That's odd! I seem to remember just defending NPO! Ring a bell? And while you keep holding up the CAKEWALK that was defending NPO from Fark, it is your constituent AAs of TLR, and TLR's current allies and pals which attacked NPO over and over and which blacklisted NPO. I guess you were for rolling NPO for no reason before you were against it. Now you know what nice guys they are As for this: I've made that argument from day one to those treaty partners who do not share the same zeal for NPO that we do. Ultimately, those allies gave their blessing because they trust our judgement more than they dislike NPO. And what was the reason that NPO got tonked over and over? Because they were getting too powerful. And what's the difference to DH/PB between an NPO that's getting more powerful in 2012 and an NPO that was getting more powerful in 2011? This time TLR is there to keep NPO where it belongs! And if not--you know as well as I do--TLR will get told to get out of the way or get bent.
I wasn't convinced at first, but you won me over with the italics and bold.
 2.
Now that's interesting.
No, it's really not. There's no supremacy clause in the Doom House Accords.
 3. Well, that's a surprise. He sure did cover it up well, even to friends and allies. I always did like Grenval; he was just the right amount of crazy.
 4.
Oh, I get that. It's not like how STA used to think that Valhalla was always working to destroy or thwart them. It's an understanding that we don't like each other, It's not as if we're sitting here waiting for the other's expected attack. Neither of us work that way.
Yeah, that's a pretty fair assessment
Yay, it's the guy who led his alliance into an ill-conceived game of atomic warfare.
What? Are you still referring to yourself as an atom bomb, or am I missing something?
 5.
MK is still rebuilding from the last war and they're not very good at maintaining peace time activity in a large chunk of their alliance.
hint: our forum activity over the past two months surpassed any point during 2011, and is up there will all-time highs This is all surpassing even Alterego levels of delusional.
 6.
Also bros also runs cntel, but you should have known that already.
Hahaha, what?
MK wants us dead? No kidding. Imagine that. We never guessed. We're well aware of the situation, and we have been for quite some time.
I know that you're unlikely to take my word for it, but the idea of attacking Valhalla is one that doesn't really receive much attention. Sure, many MK members dislike Valhalla (and vice versa), but I can't really say we have a reason to attack you.
 7.
What kind of accusation is that!
[doin it rite]
 8.
One last post: I mean, when some completely unrelated party that I wasn't even on good terms with before that is more sympathetic to me than any of DH(kind of spurred this whole thing), it says a lot. Ilyani was supportive and even stuck up for me in the anti-Denial blog entry.
There was an entire entry for me? I need to go find this; it will make for amusing reading this morning.
I just want to know how your assertion had anything to do with anything. Want to roll Sparta? Go right ahead. I will make it hurt ooc: nine inch nails style.
xfd At least Hurt would be an improvement over the awful music in the screenshots, I guess.
 9.
Well, it would be more of a smear campaign if we had some denials. I haven't seen one denial, just deflection. Can we get some MK posters on here saying they didn't spy on these alliances? Then we can turn this into a smear campaign.
Quite frankly, the details of precisely what did or did not go on would be restricted to the eyes of just a couple of people within the MK government. I imagine you'll be hearing from them tomorrow (this thread popped up quite late in the evening, and most went to bed shortly after its release). That's why it's a bit ridiculous when Roq or Krack throw out some vitriol about MK members denying the alleged spying; no one but the highest echelon of the government would be able to say, definitively, whether Roq's accusations are false, true, or a combination of both. Rank and file members, and low-mid government members, are just having fun with those aspects of Roq's muddled story - and the conspiracy theories of those that attach to his underbelly - that are quite clearly false. I mean, exactly who bros has allegedly spied on, and what forums he has access to, has changed about 10 times already, between this thread and Roq's last blog post. Edit: typos.
 10.
Considering they needed help installing a forum which is basically uploading files via a FTP, no I don't think they would have noticed... especially considering that the mod is designed to be a "spy" mod.
I've administered a couple of SMF forums during my time in CN, and I've got to say, it'd be pretty damn hard not to stumble across the existence of some sort of 'super admin' even if the mod makes ridiculous claims about being invisible. Not to mention, as Ryuzaki stated, that the mod is considerably out of date. Mods are already hard enough to get working on SMF - particularly if you have other mods installed and have performed any sort of customisation - without adding problems of conflicting mod/forum versions on top of that.
 11.
I don't, but I do know how google works and its not that difficult to get the super admin added. The point being is if you helped someone set up their forums, it wouldn't be hard to set it up so you could access their forums back-door. It doesn't matter if you call that a Super Admin, Root Admin, or something else entirely. With their FTP login, it can be done. And considering the information posted in the screenshots, it was done.
You really don't think people would have noticed bros gallivanting around as some sort of 'super admin', which is only made possible by either coding it in or installing a rather conspicuous mod?
 12.
The NS exists. You're just an inert nancy. You think everyone likes MK?
Just wait until everyone finds out that charity money isn't going to MSF, but is instead being funnelled into the Global Information Marketâ„¢
Saying he's just as bad as you is only an admission of guilt. That is from Denial's sig in the Karma war, if i remember correctly. How funny.
What?
 13.
i believe we've found roq's real nagasaki
Too soon
 14.
I never said "just as culpable." Just culpable. It saddens me that bros did this and his reputation will be irrevocably damaged over this. But to claim some kind of innocence because you are giving this to the world now seems like it is serving your anti-MK agenda. And you're doing a good job of it from what I can tell. But it doesn't change the fact that this stuff is old and you directly benefited from this information at the time.
If only this were pre-Karma, we could be rolling Roquentin for receiving intel. look at the world you built mk...
 15.
Meh, whatever you have I'm not afraid. I don't know what you're referring to, but I hope it's good. I don't mean much as an individual. The ideas have been communicated.
beneath this mask there is an idea, mr 1337 guy, and ideas are bulletproof . . .
 16.
Yes, instead, they can listen to your sage advice when you don't know what you're talking about any point. Maybe a time machine to 2006 can help us out with you.
good counter imo
 17.
It's better than the Nausea references. I've never read the book and so every time I read one of Roq's threads, I feel like I'm missing half the information he's trying to present. The extremely intellectual words make me go WTF! too.
Don't worry, the 'intellectual' words are usually strung together into incomprehensible rants and tangential stories about how someone in 2008 should have listened to Roq's sage advice on a matter no one cares about. You're not missing much.
 18.
I'm guessing this is probably a totally IC dig, right?
We're in an OOC forum, so um, no.
 19. The music you're listening to is downright horrible.
 20.
Sure, it's a good thing that it was public as it added some extra funds, but I've also donated to the same cause, but I decided not to do it through MK because honestly I don't trust you.
You're right, this is just an elaborate ruse to filter money toward our greater fund aimed at crafting Archon a solid gold, phallus-shaped throne.
 21.
And by "terrible" you mean people who don't act in a way you approve of presumeably.
By "terrible" I mean people that are so grossly incompetent that they run their little assembly of half-wits into the ground with surprising pace and hilarity. See: most of the nominees.
 22.
Just what CN needs, another unpopularity contest to chase people away. Hiding behind statements like "everyone gets to vote" and "it's just a bit of fun" to try and disassociate itself from what it is, schoolyard bullying. Wake up.
I will literally hold a pitchfork and torch during the voting rounds of this competition if it assists in chasing terrible players away at an even faster rate.
 23. It's so difficult to stop at just 15 nominations.
 24. This is a great idea. Just donated a small amount.
