Cyber Nations is easily the most fun game I've ever played, and certainly the game I've played for the longest. Salmia Posted January 4, 2010 Report Share Posted January 4, 2010 I thank you for this game AND for CyberCitizens. Without CyberCitizens, I would've never come over to this game. I joined CC in February 2008 and I made so many friends there. It was an incredible community and game itself. Together it made a pleasurable time. I play these games for friendship and community. I accept the game as it is and as changes are made but I play it as it is. I know it can be hard to see it with so many voices being the complaining ones. But people who are the most vocal tend to be the dissatisified ones. You're not going to hear so much of the praise because they're content with how things are and people forget to say thank you. This game is amazing, both of them have been a great experience and will be a game I continue to play. There are so many friendships I've made through this game. I've began to understand politics because of this game and taken an interest because of it. Not to mention the hours wasted over it but I don't regret a single day of it. I prefer this game to watching TV and I thank you for that. I can build something here and you give us the opportunity for that. People forget to say thank you but I am pretty sure we're all grateful you made the game. They want to just improve it, I just want to play it. Nothing will ever be perfect, and no one is perfect. But I am happy with the friendships and the community here even with the conflicts that arise. So thank you for allowing this community to be able to form through the game in the first place. I can't list the reasons why you'd lose interest, or the reasons why the game should end. I can however tell you as one who has owned his own site that I regret dropping it. I didn't have 20+ thousand faithful followers, they only numbered in the hundreds, but they were faithful. To this day, I can't live with myself as a person for discontinuing services to my followers. I provided chat rooms, secure chat rooms. Not porn rooms, but secure chat rooms where a family can talk with one another, or a business group could talk to one another. I understand burnout. I understand the constant nagging, pressure for change, complaints against change. But I made the mistake of ending my site, instead of handing it over to someone who wanted it... I ask you this: Please don't end the game. I'm a neutral party, but I enjoy war as much as the next guy. I try to leave you alone, but have contacted you several times in the past.
