My comment was based upon the relationship between IRON and TOP and the propaganda presently on display in this thread about TOP and IRON, and not about GOONS and CSN. The two things are very different, in my view. Let me explain clearly why I feel that there is a difference between these two things for you. 1. Personally, as I have already stated, I feel it's a bit sad that a member of IRON is utilising a signature that calls for the extinction of their former ally in TOP. The reason for this is that I used to be a member of TOP and understand how close that relationship once was. They went through hell and high water for each other and while I appreciate the propaganda element involved, I'll note that my question about advocating the extinction of an alliance (and its associated community) from the game via IC propaganda went unanswered by you and the other fellow. 2. My understanding is that the GOONS-CSN treaty was principally established on Sard's internet affection for Liz. My experience of CSN-GOONS relations were that there wasn't much beyond that. And while we're on the subject of propaganda, I'm damn sure GOONS never called for the extinction of CSN, nor was it an aim of the wars you cite. We may indeed be discussing two seperate events in seperate circumstances but I think theres some perspective for you to take in if you give yourself half a second to recognise it. Perhaps you could explain to TOP & IRON how much you regretted your actions afterward and how sorry you were after you came to realise that it wasn't a decent way to treat someone you so recently called an ally. [/quote] I don't feel any qualms about the wars against CSN, nor do I have any qualms about ending a treaty with CSN based on an OOC internet crush. I'm sure Mr shepard has no qualms about the war he wants to wage against TOP either. What I am commenting on is how I feel OOC about this situation, including the propagandic IC call for a community I was once part of to be eliminated from the game, since we are discussing honesty in people's signatures after all.
