Hakim
NATO/IRON/TOP Announcement Recently, NATO and IRON uncovered evidence regarding Rishnokof, a very senior member of Ragnarok; indeed, he was in Ragnarok's high government for a long period, having been a triumvir before the office of Emperor was established in that alliance, and he currently holds the title of Advisor to the high government. The evidence establishes, with watertight certainty, that Rishnokof was running a multi---nation ruler President Magee---and that he had used this multi in order to commit all sorts of foul play. Amongst are the following: Using the multi to attempt infiltration of IRON (it should be noted that he was unsuccessful). Using the multi to successfully infiltrate NATO; he was a member of that alliance until today. Using the multi to ghost the NSO alliance affiliation and send fake recruiting messages to major nations in TOP, presumably in an attempt to cause contention between the two alliances. Using the multi in order to launch a nuclear rogue assault on a member of the Gray Council. Evidence for all of the above is listed at this link. In short, President Magee and Rishnokof held identical IP addresses on IRC, and the IP for President Magee on NATO's forums matched exactly that of Rishnokof on the forums of the NpO; because posting of IP addresses is not allowed on these forums, the NpO has agreed to confirm that the above statement is accurate (i.e., the IP addresses do match). Both nations were deleted today; because Rishnokof's main nation was at war (and because players cannot delete their nations whilst at war), it is presumable that the deletions were not of Rishnokof's doing. Note that the above actions did take place after Rishnokof stepped down from his government position. However, given Rishnokof's status as a very senior and longtime member in Ragnarok, and as an advisor to Ragnarok's high government at the time he committed these actions, we are suspicious that at the least a small number of Ragnarok's members of government were aware of his activities. We also find it unlikely that he would attempt infiltration of IRON and NATO if he did not intend to feed to his alliance whatever information he could glean from his access to the forums and IRC channels of those alliances---no doubt including, in the event, what information he could obtain regarding NATO's opinions, intentions and plans as regarded the currently-tense situation in the Cyberverse. We understand, based on recent actions undertaken by Ragnarok, they they see spying as a crime of serious magnitude; as such, we are confident that quick action will be taken on the matter. While the deletions of the two nations make ejection from the RoK AA and attacks by RoK upon Rishnokof impossible, we figure that Van Hoo, given his stated views on spying, will certainly take steps to condemn these foul activities and remove Rishnokof from RoK's community. While we are suspicious---as explained above---that Van Hoo or others in Ragnarok's government were aware of Rishnokof's actions, some correct action on Ragnarok's part on this issue will be a nice gesture in the name of moving forward toward restoring what trust in Ragnarok we may have lost as a result of this situation. Mary the Fantabulous
Hm. Seems RoK should've followed the old adage that says one should examine oneself for a very long time before thinking of condemning others. Interesting times, indeed. Penguin
I'm assured that Ragnarok had no knowledge or connection to Rishnokof's adventures abroad. In the interest of intellectual honesty, I can confirm that the IP we were given for President Magee matched that of Rishnokof on our boards. Locke426
Your reasoning for wanting this to be known is obvious. But what could Rok do to fix it now that he no longer exists in game?
TrotskysRevenge
My, my, my; what have we here? Perhaps they should receive the same treatment that they dished out to TPF for merely having an intent to spy and withdrawing said intent. Seems fair to me.
