It was a hard and well-fought struggle, but through our struggle we have secured the greatest prize of all. When our enemies came to our borders, they came bearing gifts of destruction. They sought to disband us, to disarm us, to subjugate us under their tyranny. They demanded we accept lies and serve their cause of destruction. They failed in all of these goals. Our sovereignty remains intact, our people secure. Instead, they have gained only a token acknowledgment of military prowess in the midst of a global uprising against their abuses. As we enter this white peace, the beginning of a new era of solidarity, and cooperation, we must acknowledge our comrades, those who showed true friendship to the UCR when others turned their backs. The forces of RED ALERT, under the banners of the Libertarian Socialist Federation and the Socialist Workers Front bravely answered the call to defend our homeland from invasion. They were joined by Comrade Tiki of the International Coalition of Socialist Nations. The ICSN had no ties or obligations to RED ALERT, yet did not hesitate to defend socialism from the forces of reaction. These brave comrades and the sacrifices they made will always be remembered by the UCR, and will all be admitted to the UCR's Order of Friendship, bearing the distinct honor of a Friend of the Union. The drafting of this treaty of peace was a joint effort of the leadership of RED ALERT and the Friends of Doom. The UCR thanks Doom Squad leader Lord Hershey for respectfully engaging in this effort in good faith and with a genuine desire for peace, may your compatriots follow your example so the world may know an era of unprecedented harmony and fraternity. --- Conclusion of the Friends of Doom and RED ALERT War Section 1: Friends of Doom and RED ALERT shall refrain from engaging in further hostilities. The signatories of this treaty must use diplomatic contact should any future conflict arise among them. Diplomatic Contact must be made in the for of in-game messaging or equivalent among leaders of signatory alliances. Any signatory that declares in-game wars against another prior to this diplomatic contact shall be deemed to have violated this treaty and shall be considered an aggressor. Section 2: RED ALERT admits military defeat Section 3: The signatories to this treaty shall act in good faith to uphold the terms agreed to. Disagreements arising from these terms must be reconciled per Section 1. Section 4: Should Section 3 not be followed for any reason including irreconcilable differences, at least two alliance signatories of BUTT, excluding UCR, must be notified by a grieved alliance signatory and to attempt to mediate for a resolution before a conflict can be initiated or escalated. Instead of throwing a half-ass barb mocking them you should be glad that alliances who've been getting stomped on by Doom are getting peace- likely faster because Doom are now otherwise engaged against a number of alliances who haven't been pounded into the ground yet. I wouldn't call running into PM one-by-one when a stagger fails, standing up to Doomsphere. That said, a fight well fought, albeit in a war that started because if MrMarx and his twitchy trigger finger, and that finger was stuck up to the peace agreement that was implemented first time round.
