i would like spaces between nations 1 to 1.5 points away from each other in the non sanctioned and 3-5 in the sanctioned

+1 to tier barriers because I remember the days of no tier barriers... just go back about 500 or so pages and you'll see 12 neatly formatted alliances, the Great Sanction Line and then a big clump of alliances.

So 15-10 to the Tier Barriers now, I think.

Also I haven't done update in a long time... I shall take it today.

Super! A sample of probably 1% of the people who check this thread and a small majority (ignoring the fact that half the majority supported altering the current tier barriers if they were going to be kept) is enough for Arcadian, and that's all that matters!

Commentary

I'll sum up today in five dot points as I have to go out and get some lunch...

- Athens takes advantage of a nice gain to pass two alliances, while RnR is unlucky to have such a good gain but not pass anyone

- Other nice gains go to New Pacific Order (+0.13). Yep, you other alliances need to start growing, ya hear?

- Mostly Harmless Alliance retains their number 2 spot (when did this happen?!) despite losing big, with Sparta just under a point away.

- Losses were more prominent, with Fark (-0.18), Monos Archein (-0.21) and Invicta (-0.14) posting big losses. With the last one being so unfortunate so as to drop a Tier.

- Siberian Tiger Alliance lose their sanctionability by dropping under 200 members, while RnR gains sanctionability along with their good gain. Therefore today's shoutout goes to RnR.

EDIT: Sorry guys, but unless the non-Tier or other-Tier suggestions can all be unified and have a majority over the current Tiers, then updaters will consider it. Myself, I like this set up and therefore will use it until it goes out of fashion or there is a nicer alternative.

Why not adjust add/drop line formula's if there are too many alliances in the race. If tier barriers were used to show big gaps between alliances, I'd love them, as they are it just seems stupid.

The huge bloc of text lines needs to be broken up somehow or another for easier reading. If this was chosen more "meaningfully" people would complain about subjectivity. If you choose them based on gaps you gain about squat in terms of data conveyed, you could have a string of twenty alliances spanning 20 points (a huge spread) without a single one point gap.

As it stands the tiers break the mass of alliances and numbers into easily digestible, rather stationary chunks in the easiest and least controversial way possible.
