There was a time when sending tech, cash or troops; to an alliance at war was an act of war on the other alliance involved. I’m not sure when that changed. It’s up to IRON and DAWN if they feel a need to talk to these other alliances about the tech being sent to gRAMlins. However there has been a new policy set in CN that there is no expiration date on a CB so you never know some of these transgressions may be called out sometime in the future, depending on how IRON and DAWN are received when they come to call about your tech deals. As an ally of these two alliances I’m not happy to see other alliances spit in their face like this.

Deal with it, etc.

I believe this is a part of dealing with it. However, given how many alliances are supporting Ramlins, it requires a certain amount of outside the box work.

I posted in the Blackmarket several FAR tech sellers that needed deals.

Many buyers sent $3mil to kickoff the deals. Every buyer in CN had the chance to get it in these tech deals. Gramlins happens to be one of many.

Many alliances are tech dealing with Gramlins and IRON (IRON AID).

This topic is pathetic and one sided.

Bilrow, I'll give a poo when you post all aid IRON/allies have received. Post a Who Is Dealing with IRON and DAWN.

tl;dr roll FAR if you want to help IRON
It's a valid source of aid. Deal with it.

(And yes I know you're kidding)

So what the hell should we do with this list?

Roll everyone on it?
We dont do anything with this list but shake our head and ask why. Its up to IRON and DAWN to go to these alliance and let them know that to aid gRAMlins is an act of war and to please stop. What they do with this information is up to them.

I think the point was that everyone is talking about how much they hate gramlins (and rightfully so), this is their chance to actually do something about it. Pressure those currently dealing with them to stop, it also alerts alliance leaders if there are members of their alliance doing it.

So I assume you would have no beef if I did tech deals with an alliance you were at war with? Generally one suspends dealing with any party at war. You don't take their money and run, rather you bank it and repay them post war. Actually it would have been your alliance's best interest to suspend the deal. You could have invested the money in the sellers nations, helped used it to cover a sled or a larger infra purchase at the end of a sled and grown your nations that much faster, all while complying with accepted standards. It would have pretty much been win-win for you to suspend the deals, as opposed to your current path.

If nothing else, I'd advise keeping a lower profile. I doubt IRON was planning on hunting down tech sellers, but if you posture and scream enough they might decide to pay you a visit at some point. Like others have said, casus bellis don't seem to expire anymore.

I think that's kind of how it's changed, the alliances that are being wronged (theoretically anyway) don't really bother to pressure alliances to end tech dealing with their opponents because in general a lot of those deals dry up during a war. Only FAR and Fallen Knights have really eye-brow raising amounts of aid going out to Gramlins, and most of the rest are almost not worth pursuing due to how small it is within the scale of the war as a whole. Obviously 5k tech adds up, but it's only 2% of Gramlins total tech, and it's way lower than the amount of tech Gramlins would be importing without the war.

I could be wrong though.

Look, that's great, I'm not the biggest fan of Gremlins either. But, in the case of my alliance, there's quite a few nations who have established tech deals that they've been doing for awhile. We're not going to ask them to stop because someone's doing something that is completely irrelevant/unimportant to us.

There are around six alliances on that list that are directly or indirectly tied to IRON. If you want to !@#$%* and moan clean your own house first.

Sorry Mr. D normally we agree, but right now, I wish your words matched your (alliances's)actions.
No, it's called supply and demand. They want it we have it. As Jefferson pointed out it's a very negligible amount of technology. If you think stopping a whole 700 tech from going to them will stop Ramirus' deluded logic well...sorry.

Let me make this clear, the Federation of Allied Republics does not support asking for the unconditional surrender of any alliance.

700 tech says you do

I can claim to play for the NBA all day, but that would never change the fact that I don't.
