Acca Dacca
My response- simply commenting either he is a re-roll (most who have been in game a long time and need to re-roll got beat up "suck at game") OR was a newbie. Arguably I should have added a third option... left game for awhile and came back- which means he has missed most recent events.Voodoo, I actually used to know you quite well- really your going to comment on this? The following is my opinion- try to take heed of that and I welcome real discussion not cheapshots on my knowledge of alliances. This war is wrong- there are much better reasons to fight that nothing happened over. Your response doesnt deserve real discussion. You said I either suck at this OOC: game, or I'm a newbie. You seriously have no idea who you are talking to, and considering that these two alliances have talked to each other for quite some tome and have to the decision to make a pact over it doesnt mean squat that there is a war going on. Allies are allies no matter when made, and the fact you thought that Athens needed help bailing out was a "fail" statement to begin with, because if you look at todays update blitz, there wasnt one..again...and two of VEs close allies are already involved in the war. The war is right for some people, and thats an argument for another thread. I've known voodoo and he judged your character very well. Credibility lost, why not just walk out of the thread? arentak
I've seen a few treaties now that seem downright tactical rather then what I used to think treaties were, long-term commitments.

So confirming you attack people's opinions? People you don't know- even better, although doubt I'm worth knowing to you due to your constant attacks. You break your own reasoning by making comments directed at me without knowing my background. Bit hypocritical- but hey I guess I don't agree with this war so it's fair to try and flame me out of the thread.

You questioned a treaty of Athens, who considering is in CnG, and is awesome, and are on a 5:1 war path thought they needed another treaty to "bail." You also based my knowledge off my nation's age. I don't need to know your background. Your replies to this announcement have been more than enough. If you would like to continue this discussion, send me a PM. rsoxbronco1
This treaty is the result of ages and ages of toil by Athenian and Viridian diplomats and a friendship older than time itself.

Jgoods45
Wow! The word "DESPERATION" is written all over this treaty. ShanePrice[GGA] facepalms. Skippy
This will start a new trend in CN politics. "Hai Athens, treaty 4 cb on TPF and co.??"" "mmk, surez" I hope these don't become a common occurrence
Bob Janova
VE sucks I mean, yay. Edit: I really hope this isn't just a way of making a hook to enter this war. If we want to enter, we don't need an optional aggression clause to do so. Edited December 29, 2009 by Bob Janova
Haflinger
I really hope this isn't just a way of making a hook to enter this war. The treaty was posted by HavoK. I think that pretty much says it all. BTW it's a chaining MDOAP.

I was thinking with the umpteen treaties you have with SF alliances, getting a CB in this war shouldn't be *that* hard

I don't think people can really think 'man VE is really hurting for a way into this, what with their MADP with GOD and MDoAP with Rok'. Skippy
Then why else sign one of these treaties out of the blue? Just to confirm your place fighting with Athens? A treaty like this has no other purpose but war, no clause stopping you from attacking each other, be friendly, etc. Kinda obvious what the intentions are. No point denying it. Mechanus
I won't accuse the VE of bandwagoning because they already have allies in the war, so it was inevitable they would enter at some stage, but why the hastily signed document trying legitimise something that was already legitimate? And does this, along with \m/'s entry following an MDoAP signed just a few days ago, raise a new series of questions about can a treaty during or just before a war be activated for an offense committed before the treaty was signed? I would have to echo these sentiments. What sort of trend is being started by allowing this sort of action to occur without much more than the mindless brouhaha that normally follows? Is this to become the norm in our brave new world that Karma has provided us?
