2.
Also give the NEW guy peace, they dont need more causalties
Guess that should have been a consideration before tech raiding me. I'm sure he won't mind a bit of fun over the next cycle.
 3.
Dear Mechanus, Please stop turtling so that I may get some live-fire training for my soldiers. Goose
Now now, all in good time. I have a long ways to go and you are but the speedbump in my parking lot. I've many strollers and trolleys to collide with.
 4. I admit, I laughed heartily when I saw the first sanctions placed on another Mechanus.
 5.
I see our stolen technology helped you out a bit. Glad we could help.
Now, now. Don't be bitter. It doesn't suit you, Theo. Besides, aren't you too busy to care about what's going on in this realm?
 6.
25 dollar donation to Gremlins if ChairmanHal updates this tomorrow.
I hope Hal does update this thread just so you'll spend some money on srs intrnt pixel bsns. The mere fact that people think it's cute and amusing to waste their own money just to spite someone on the internet fills me with a joy not felt in a long time. Please, Hal, for those of use that have no other reason to play along at home than to watch stupidity crawl out their doors for things like this...please, update this thread. And if you have already, thank you. Your Jam of the Month is in the mail.
 7. So this must have been what that ex-57th member was talking about when he said:
Since the beginging of the year Veneke's motivation has dropped steadily, he is constantly preaching doom and gloom. last week marked the 3rd time this year he has decided the alliance is dead, and without consultation of me or either of the LTs he spoke with some SSgs and they came up with a plan to shut down the 57th and start a new alliance with me as the leader (of course Veneke intended to be puppet master). Upon seeing all of this and speaking with him I contacted some of the senior members of the alliance and asked them if they felt he was still competent to command. Word got back to him ( I wasn't really hiding it anyway) and he accused me of attempting a coup. I pretty much told him to $%&* himself and left.
So this is the end result?
 8. As each season goes on, the competition gets much more heated and intense. If you like football or even just like a challenge, I highly recommend joining us in Liga Mundo and trying your hand at managing a squad. You'll be grateful that you did.
 9.
Looking at your team's kit against Cataduanes, and the emblem on it I believe it is Zaragoza.
That's what I thought but I don't ever recall Zaragoza having a red kit, hence my question.
 10. I'm surprised at how well ADM did for being a first year club. If I may ask, which club was I assigned? I noticed that David Villa is one of my forwards and you said you are using FIFA 05 as the match simulator so that leads me to believe I'm either Zaragoza or Valencia.
 11. The streets of Astartus were filled with the cheering citizens of Adeptes Mechanicus as the national football club went on to beat out Costa Libertad through pens. Agustín Aranzábal was the man of the match as he put the deciding kick well past the defending keeper and sent the traveling supporters into a frenzy at Maputo Stadium. ADM will travel to face Tahoe in the Quarterfinals.
 12.
Make this guy your political advisor for even greater profit!
I don't care enough for the game anymore to be for hire. I'm just along for the ride. TOP and Co. understand that you lot will make it hell for them to surrender. Why, when knowing what your current peace demands are, would they even consider surrendering? They seem to be having fun right now and are probably forging new friendships through it all while the rest of you continue to suffer losses. They may ultimately be on the worse end of the beating, but the least they can do is make you pay for every inch you want to gain from their surrendering. I say good on them.
 13. Look at it this way TOP; if you keep fighting you're getting to have your cake and eat it too. You surrender now and you're just passing it over to the new hegemony that is C&G. Might as well burn the house down while enjoying that slice, eh? Keep fighting TOP. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
 14.
You know people like you argue like we attacked TOP with the reason "we don't like you". It's too soon to revise the past, it's just been a few weeks.
I'm not arguing against any sort of attack against TOP. I'm merely commenting on what bros said and how much it points things right back to how it all was before Karma began:
You would expect TOP to get leniency for what they did? They had the most invalid reason for a war in CN history. They will receive back-breaking reparations. Few concessions will be made. We do not want to set record-breaking reps, but sometimes they must be set to teach a lesson.
15.
You would expect TOP to get leniency for what they did? We do not want to set record-breaking reps, but sometimes they must be set to teach a lesson.
Meet the new boss...same as the old boss. The Karma War was nothing but a way to change who was in charge. The more things change...
 16.
The two CBs are unrelated. TOP had no valid CB to attack CnG and Grub declared war on \m/ because a couple members used bad words in the middle of "diplomacy" (read: lurking in a hostile channel). Neither invalidates the other and I don't see anything confusing about bros' post.
I think you missed the point of my post. How can he claim that TOP had no valid CB then go on to state how NpO's CB was 'the silliest CB ever' then a few short sentences later say that 'war doesn't work like that' or that it isn't some 'prim and proper affair'? If war doesn't work like how the past few wars have happened, and that the wars are the result of dirty methods, then exactly how does war work? People sit around and complain about lack of wars, and that even saying "We don't like you" is a valid CB. Yet the OP clearly states that TOP's reason for war is not a valid CB and that NpO's CB was silly. This is my confusion. How is the OP any more certified in reasons for CBs than anyone else here?
 17.
I would start out this wall by discussing the casus belli used to start this war, but that appears to be impossible, as no casus belli was used to start this war. Last I checked, preemptive striking is not a valid CB, nor has it ever been. This war most likely would not have happened if it were not for the perfect storm of events in the Cyberverse. First off, TOP and MK have mutually disliked each other for a while. Secondly, Citadel was getting crumblier than a crumb cake. Thirdly, everyone was rather ornery after The Blue Balls War fizzled away and out of our memories. But then Grub, the moral beacon of CN, decided to attack \m/ for one of the silliest reasons I can remember in CN. Everyone knows what happened after that. But no, there was no conspiracy to do it. Nobody is that good at manipulating On the war itself, TOP has acted rather silly, such as in the case of Trace, an MK member. Trace asked TOP if he could be allowed to slip into peace mode, due to RL problems. He came back recently and came out of peace mode. TOP proceeded to yell at him because they think they should've been able to attack him after he exited peace mode. No TOP, that is not how war works. War has not worked like that for a while. War is not a prim and proper affair in which the general wears the brightest coat with the most feathers in his hat. War is a process in which you hit whatever you can get as quick as you can. TOP, you are being TOPpled, you do not dictate rules to the winner. The main players on your side will never get white peace. Should be fun to watch you kick and scream while we rend the tech from your nations. On GGA: Congratulations on another coup. But I must ask, why did you not follow the tradition of MDPing the enemies of the GGA pre-coup? That is what Bilrow did when he couped the best emperor GGA ever had, Prodigal Chieftain. PC was an interesting character. He was pretty much the antithesis of the New Pacific Order. One of the more entertaining leaders CN has ever had. On Toast: Best prepared with peanut butter. Rosemary toast with peanut butter on it is delicious. Discuss.
I'm confused about this post. You first go into some sort of complaint about how this war lacks a CB (did it not meet a certain requirement level by your side?) then rattle on about how silly the CB for the NpO-\m/ war was. Then you turn around and try to state how war works in another paragraph and even say
War is not a prim and proper affair in which the general wears the brightest coat with the most feathers in his hat. War is a process in which you hit whatever you can get as quick as you can.
. Did you want to sound like you haven't a clue on what you're talking about in this post? That's how this post comes across to me. You try to claim how two sides of a coin work without ever showing understanding of either one. /me shrugs Do whatever you want, rant about whatever you want. Planet Bob is well enough done on that bit of procedure. But a stone is a stone, no matter how you want to view it. TOP believed their reason was good enough to declare war by. Why does it matter if you agree or not?
 18.
The fact of the matter is that you have no proof he did anything, so you're falling back on arguments like "he could have done it!" and "it's the sort of thing he'd do!"
Except for the fact that he and I were into everything from the point of recruiting from within Browncoats to form HPS until the day I retired from the 57th. Considering that he and I were government of Browncoats, HPS, and the 57th, I'd say I have much more knowledge than anyone else here.
 19.
I am well aware of the feud that exists between members of the new BC and Veneke, and while I think things have been handled poorly on that front I dont think they have much relevance to this discussion here. The information that was provided to 57th was done so willingly by a member of BC who had a history with 57th and despite the falling out between he and Veneke, felt compelled to let him know that an attack would have been coming had the TPF War continued. 57th, not being one of the main combatants, had no way of knowing that peace was coming and so their DoW was posted a few short minuted after the war was resolved. Was the 57th-BC war the result of a 'blood feud' as you characterize it? Not as much as you would like it to be. Contrary to the preemptive war that is raging right now, 57th recieved legitimate information from a member of BC, in the form of screenshots and testimonial, that an attack was coming.
Just a few things wrong here, FS. I don't remember if you had left HPS or not before this all happened, but Straightupnobull, the person who gave the screenshots from Browncoats to Veneke, left with Ajna and Moufassa to help form FUCN. When they left Veneke branded them traitors to HPS for doing the exact same thing we did when we were in Browncoats, gathering people who were unhappy with the existing government and offering them a chance to start new. Straightupnobull gave screenshots to Veneke within a matter of days of leaving Browncoats to join another alliance. Not sure if he left to join LoSS or rejoin FUCN, but that isn't relevant. What is relevant is why SUNB would choose only a very select section of screenshots and why Veneke would accept screenshots from someone he branded a traitor to himself and the alliance and then act on it. Because it was information on Browncoats. As for the bit about it not being a blood feud, you're wrong there as well. Ask Asriel to share some of the logs that Veneke, Lord Panda, and myself had with him. I'm sure you'll see that you are not as right as you believe. My only regret is not apologising to Asriel sooner after I treated him like some sort of traitor for bringing back Browncoats. People will scream character assassination and the like, but how else do you show behavioural patterns of a person that could very well go to such lengths to create such situations? By providing background information that give you insight into their thinking. Everyone seems to be taking e-lawyer courses nowadays on Planet Bob...
 20.
I knew you'd bring this up eventually. Yeah, at midnight my time, after seeing the supposed overwhelming evidence provided by GLOF, and after seeing the initial reaction by everyone, I thought Ven actually might have done this. Since then, I've changed my mind. Seems you're not out to just get Veneke anymore Mech. Anything else ye'd care to post about me Mech? Because right now, I could care less what you do to me in this game.
I'm not out to get you. Just curious as to why you'd say one thing after surrendering to the Lodge PoW, then turn around and go back to the 57th and say you hope they take you back, then turn around and go back to the Lodge PoW and now come here and post things in defence of the 57th. I'm quite perplexed by this.
 21.
There's no proof that it was faked, other than tens of people voicing their opinions and your so-called 'experts', which is what all this hubub on the OWF is about. Did *you* just get here?
I find it curious that you are here defending the very alliance who's leader, and I quote:
[22:48] <Theoroshia[57th]> Oh, and the worst part? [22:48] <Theoroshia[57th]> Ven pegs me as the guy who doctored the screenshots.
22.
Ooooh, character assassination... always fun to see those. I notice that you conveniently forget to mention that those conversations with various people in the 57th regarding all of that was because I found a bunch of them trying to set up a spy ring and we, well I, went to end it. It's this context business again that you're forgetting.
Wait a second....how is the below about you trying to end anything:
(6:44:26 AM) Veneke[57th]: Actually, while I have you on the line. If the 57th were to create an Intelligence section, a group of people dedicated to securing vital intelligence from our enemies (and possibly allies), how would you suspect that they'd go about it? (6:45:57 AM) Demolisher: multiple accounts and sign up to the target alliance as a noob (6:46:53 AM) Veneke[57th]: Aye... high-risk that though, could be deleted/banned from CN. I will admit that the benefits could be huge though. (6:48:38 AM) Veneke[57th]: Do you think that that's a risk that is worthwhile, in a purely hypothetical sense? (6:49:27 AM) Demolisher: Depends on who we're spying on, doesnt it. If they are huge and powerful and catch a spy, that's us all ZI'd. (6:49:54 AM) Veneke[57th]: Indeed it does, or, at best, the spy would be taken out. (6:50:50 AM) Veneke[57th]: One method I was knocking around was IRC impersonation... impersonate some inactive in the AA, ideally who isn't on the forums yet, and create forum accounts and use IRC as if you were them. (6:50:59 AM) Demolisher: What on earth would WE need to spy anyone for anyway? (6:51:09 AM) Veneke[57th]: Tell them you're back-collecting and away you go. (6:51:13 AM) ***Veneke[57th] chuckles (6:51:20 AM) Veneke[57th]: Wouldn't you like to know what others are thinking? (6:51:33 AM) Veneke[57th]: I know I would... particularly in regards Brown FA. (6:52:18 AM) Demolisher: there's still at least 5 other alliances on brown... (6:52:49 AM) Veneke[57th]: 5 operatives isn't that many.... particularly if we go the lower risk route of using inactives as cover. (6:54:06 AM) Veneke[57th]: Still, that extreme is only an idea at this stage. The creation of an Intel section is going to happen, and I seriously doubt that we'll go that far. We will need to find a way of doing intel work without that though... (6:54:37 AM) Veneke[57th]: OWF and forum tracking are probably the best ways... and some open-source research work. Have you any ideas yourself on either end of the spectrum?
I don't see anywhere in there that shows you were trying to bust up some sort of spy ring. Matter of fact, the bolded parts show that you were trying to set one up and went through some possible methods to make it work. Hypothetically speaking. I mean, if you were trying to break something like that up, while I was leader, don't you think you would have, you know....told me?
 23. I've sat back and watched as this whole thing has unraveled. I have not bothered to speak up because of people's quick to assume attitude that whatever I may say could be an ex-member with an ax to grind, as people so lovingly like to put it. After reading this load of tripe I've grown tired of the 57th trying to play the victim. Everything I'm about to say could very well have me removed from the Lodge for speaking out of turn, but I've gotten to the point that I don't care about my well-being and only wish for the attempts against the Lodge to stop. Veneke sits here and pours out his usual long-winded speech about honour and how they were forced into their position. Yet, he overlooks the very simple term that Penedono offers to end the entire thing:
22:10 Ven|afk Can you give me an example of how you might be satisfied? 22:12 Penedono[Mason] If you were to make a public statement sincerely apologizing for passing a forged document to the Lodge for the purposees of habving us expel a member in good standing to allow you to ZI him for doing things you cannot prove he did 22:13 Ven|afk That would head off all of this yes, but assuming we don't own up to something that we didn't do, at what point in our destruction would GLOF be satisfied to have done enough damage commensurate with the disrespect we've apparently shown ye.
If that exists within the logs he offers up, then I'm sure you all can read it for yourselves. However, I wonder why Veneke glosses over this part and chooses to only point out those things that put him and his alliance in a more favourable light. The same Veneke who months ago, while I was still leader of the 57th, went to the membership behind my back and held conversations such as this one:
We will need to find a way of doing intel work without that though... (6:54:37 AM) Veneke[57th]: OWF and forum tracking are probably the best ways... and some open-source research work. Have you any ideas yourself on either end of the spectrum?
Now the above is just one of many talks he held amongst other members of the 57th. I'll leave it to them if they so choose to reveal themselves and the things said. Now surely, Veneke wouldn't be one to do such a thing as spy on his enemies, and possibly even his own allies, to further his own goals? No, of course not. Many people rode in to defend him and his honourable ways because they knew him. Apparently you don't know him as well as you thought you did, eh? Surely, when Veneke said in the initial peace talks:
23:16 Ven|afk I'm sorry I'm not bending to your wishes. 57th are stubborn folk, 'fraid it runs in the alliance. 23:17 Ven|afk You're telling me that I have to admit to doing something I did not do, and that the 57th must accept this. Neither is likely. 23:17 Penedono[Mason] I already said I'm willing to sign off on saying we refuse to agree 23:17 Penedono[Mason] Again - just join this conversation? 23:17 Ven|afk We've got a little thing called honour and integrity and you know, the whole "talking to people before we shoot them" thing
They wouldn't do anything like accept screenshots of a single thread from an ex-government member and attack an entire alliance based on those single screenshots without first talking to the rest of the alliance or its existing government, would they? Ask BC and see what sort of an answer you get. I'm sure you'll be shocked at what Veneke and the 57th decided to do. Veneke sits here portraying himself and his alliance as the innocent ones, fighting to stand up against a bigger bully. I call shenanigans on the entire facade. The entire ordeal is a petty grudge that Veneke, and possibly other members of the 57th, carry and had an opportunity to see out. A grudge much like the one that Veneke carries for the reformed Browncoats. Were the screeshots faked or real? Well, on the OWF everyone are experts so you can't listen to the banter of the common masses. But when hearing from those in the design field continually state that there are inconsistencies in the IP images that open the way for edited images, the ability to claim those as solid proof goes out the window. Then it's a matter of trusting those you believe and ignoring the rest of the chaff. The Lodge listened to those they trusted. Here we are now. I've posted here at the risk of my own nation, my own reputation (whatever that is), and my own future in this world to try and point out that Veneke is not this innocent and honourable person, but someone with his own agenda to carry out and damn those who he takes down in his push forward. Listen to me or not, I care not. I've said my peace. The courts of public opinion will believe who they choose to. I only hope that you take the time to consider that everything you see is not what is real.
 24.
Most of the fronts (50%-80%) will be at peace within the first two weeks of February.
We're already in the 2nd week of February, so you're saying that we'll see 1/2 - 3/4 of the alliances at war starting getting/offering peace by end of Saturday?
 25. Wow, look at that. Reasonable individual surrender terms. Maybe you can share those with some of your sphere-cohabitation alliances and give them some pointers on how it's done.
