For instance, Spiced sausages last much longer then bland sausages due to the preserving effect of Capsaicin. However, those clever guys at Nordreich also figured out ways to make dried sausage, kinda like a jerky almost, and I understand that it could last for a very long time too. Of course, both are quality meats, not like the sweepings from the factory floor they usually sell in grocery stores for 5 dongs a pack. For those, there is always the freezer. It isn't like anyone is going to boycott buying sausage because they don't have enough choice in how many sausages they get. If some of the sausages then expire, that you wouldn't have paid for anyway, but didn't get to eat, now you have to go buy even more sausages even though you would've had plenty. tl;dr capitalism. did you really expect something different from me? [/quote] Most of the time 16 packs have smaller ones in it. But I echo the advice of putting them in a freezer instead of a fridge.
