1.
So, over a hundred alliances have signed with your sorry lot and later regretted it? That is not something I figure you would want to brag about. Oh well. To anyone foolish enough to think about signing with RIA, please look this over and spare yourself the trouble. You want nothing to do with these clowns.
You do realize that only 10-15 of the alliances on that list still exist, and I am sure that a very good portion of the treaties were cancelled due to either disbandment of said alliance or merger.
 2.
Um, ok SCY, I'm clearly drawing out the fact that the "that was four years ago, get over it" mentality only makes any sense if it wasn't that they still defend their past actions. Nofish should stop trying to act like I have an unreasonable perception of GOD, given they have never repudiated their own past crimes. Now we just have Xiphosis opportunistically talking about justice, truth and light because he isn't in the position where he could deliver the "justice" he would prefer. Only last year he was threatening Dark Templar with eternal war because ODP's aren't treaties. Only the wilfully blind can try to defend GOD. It is a constant source of despair to me that even those who haven't been in a position of dominance on Planet Bob for a while now, like MCXA for instance, try to use really quite pathetic means to discredit those who argue against whatever ally of convenience they happen to be shacked up with. Saddening.
I bet you're also mad that GOD levied 40k tech worth of reparations on DT as well.
 3.
Why would you think that? SF, and especially, spent the last war being shielded and only having to fight a relatively modest battle, one dictated by their own allies. Chasing down SF wasn't really the point of the last war, and it showed - SF was largely let off the hook. GOD has spent the last couple years dodging bullets, and even now transparently attempts to mitigate the damage of this conflict by painting themselves as downtrodden victims. Such woe, to be oppressed by the demonic Mushroom Kingdom and her acolytes - a hegemonic force more evil than even the reviled Continuum, seeking out the misery of poor, innocent GOD and SF for no other reason than...sadism? This declaration is nothing more than the desperation of a pathetic, cowardly alliance.
He was talking specifically to bordiga, which is in one of the alliances that was at war with us last time, along with NEAT. 2 alliances which have members that were in LoFN and/or sympathizers of the LoFN conflict which happened 4 years ago.
 4.
You are clearly confused. LoSS was offered peace with a no re-entry clause very early on. They were not 'held hostage'. I can understand they didn't want to leave DT on the battlefield, but they had a clear and clean way out of the war the entire time. As for DT, I felt wronged by their ODP activation. At the time they declared we'd already been having peace talks with LoSS, and they declared on Legacy who I cared for deeply at the time. I felt that they were out of line with what they did. At the time, I was in a position to do something about it. I likely overreacted and now CSN is one of the more hated alliances. As for us (CSN) trying to draw NoR out, that is patently false. Would it have been nice if they'd reneged on their peace treaty and re-entered against us, sure. I didn't like the first NoR for how they tried to 'run' Maroon, and I carried my dislike forward to their resurrected form. I figured they would keep their word and stay out. I do recall catching some heat in that for some reason NoR couldn't declare on NPO while we were still at war with DT, but I didn't pay much attention to it, as it didn't make sense. Either way, the alliances that CSN has actually wronged (namely DT and by extension LoSS), have had their pound of flesh and gotten over it. I can't say we're best of friends, but at least DT isn't foaming at the mouth like some of the vocal GATO members that weren't really involved in it.
Thank you. That explains exactly why GATO hates GOD
 5. I have a big question here Why does trotsky think liz is so interested in sausage? Moreover, why does trotsky think liz is so interested in what MK thinks about sausages?
 6.
Enlighten us, please? We are definitely interested.
Krack is taking something that happened several years ago and is trying to both falsely lay the blame on others as well as portray it in the darkest light possible, just so it can seem relevant to the topic at hand. Not only is it not relevant, but it also wasn't as big of a 'situation' as he makes it out to be *Shrugs* maybe I'm thinking of something else. Oh well
 7.
Coming from another ally of Fark , who just did this exact same thing a week ago. Do you like the smell of hypocrisy?
You act as though every single ally of Fark supported their action.
 8.
All your allies are at war, why are you neutral?
Gibsonator is currently a member of GOD, and has his very rare war slots filled
 9.
You're aware of how we ended up with those much-coveted slots, I'm guessing? If you're disappointed that this offer hasn't been extended to the general public, speak to the appropriate parties and we can get it rectified.
I am just disappointed in capitalism and the theory of supply / demand as it does not work in every situation possible.
 10. I was impressed when our very rare and well sought after war slots were given to such fine alliances as Asgaard and BN (props to you guys on the solid nations and war preperations). But what is this? since when are we giving away these once of a lifetime war slots to these folk. There were only 285 specially produced slots that went up for sale, along with another 285 given to the membership to pass out as they please. Compare that to the thousands of nations saving up for sooooo long to get their hands on it. On the other hand, I'm sure there are plenty of members who would gladly give you some of their rare and expensive slots, as they feel you deserve them good luck
 11.
Yup and altho WF had only like 110members they got their name listed on the top 7 day smallest alliance gains where the 4 other alliances on that list all had 250+members. And I think NPO's fighting capabilities will be described as god-like in comparison with UPN which GOD fought (which also was a 3 vs 1) if you ask anyone who knows this game. Also you guys declared on Valhalla, who was already fighting 3alliances, rather than declaring on us, an alliance who you hate and who attacked your treaty partner. If we are so weak, than surely you could have easily declared on us or on both us and Val.
Haven't you heard the news? GOD's slots are such a rare commodity now a days. If we hate you guys as much as everyone says, why would we go and give you prime warslots... it just doesn't make any sense. Anyway, good luck RnR, have fun nuking people and getting nuked. It really is a lot of fun
 12.
Oh c'mon. Granted, I know leadership is time-consuming and difficult, and I was never in MA.. but give me a break. Whenever KaitlinK left MA had something around 230 members and was well into the SR. Granted, KaitlinK must've brought with her a large cadre of active members, but it was only something like 15 (I would have to look at the ASR to get more accurate numbers here). Inheriting an alliance of 200+ people is not at all a bad gig to be put into. Why you couldn't manage to recruit to replenish your numbers or grow your alliance through a copious amount of tech deals, I think, is reflective of how a government manages to lead an alliance. Don't have a full-time recruiter? Do it yourself until you can find one. Inactive? Try bringing your existing and new members onto IRC as much and effectively as possible. Be innovative and exciting. etc. After a certain point, you gotta only blame yourself, as you let MA decay to a 1/3 of its size before you threw in the towel. KaitlinK didn't do that.
It's not like I know anything about this or something, but let me try to give you an idea. When Kaitlink left MA in mid october, MA had 210 members. That was around october 20th (give or tale). By the end of october, MA was at a member count of 178. that is a drop of 32, most of which were active members and/or government. The person who took over for kait was dealing with RL issues and was inactive. By this point, only 2 members of the government were in government before kait left. From that point (beginning of september) to the point I took over (middle of december), MA saw the remaining semi-active members trickle out until a membership count of 138. At this point, only 2 of the members in government were even in the alliance when kait was around. Kinda hard to blame myself when I didn't even take over till 1/2 of MA left.
 13.
We love Kait too much, her baby needed to be resurrected...You're her husband, man. You should be supporting us.
You mean the same Kait that effectively killed it?
 14.
Can't get into upper government in your alliance? No problem! Just wait for your alliance to die, reform it, then name yourself upper government. With the exception of Ice, who served as Regent briefly near the end (I believe?), none of you were ever in upper government of MA, decision makers in MA, or founders previously. If you wanted to make an alliance (because we do need more), why didn't you just create a brand spanking new one? Guess I'm a hater who is going to hate. I'll just be over here ... you know ... hatin'.
So much this. Also, again aside from Ice, where where you when I spent countless hours for weeks on end trying to pull MA out from the grave that KaitlinK put her in.
 15.
Whoever did that apparently didn't bother to visit the RoK forums and take part in the internal conversation that took place there. Despite all these accusations, the RoK government did not paint SF as the bad guys**. The membership were told that there was a lot of information, most of which we didn't even know about initially, and to reserve judgement. They didn't feel duped, tricked, or lied to even after some members of GOD came to the RoK forums and attempted to stir the pot. Right or wrong, the membership pretty much felt that GOD had attempted to undermine their government. ** Taut, however, did paint SF as the bad guy at one point and continued to do so during the debate with GOD. But, prior to GOD's posts on our forums and after the membership and government agreed to address it all later, Taut had fallen completely silent on the RoK forums. He was no longer in government at the time though and has since departed this world as he wished to do when he stepped down.
i had multiple queries (started by RoK members mind you) that went into detail about how they were sorry for the way they treated my alliance because their government failed to tell them the truth. Won't name names because that's in bad taste. Also what delta said. It's so hard watching your allies ridicule you for something you know you didn't do wrong.
 16. I'm willing to bet that the respective alliance of every single person saying poaching isn't that bad, would indeed roll an alliance for poaching (or, in the case that rolling is not an option due to treaties or your alliance is tiny compared to the other, get reps)
 17.
Call it 'Mickey Mouse' for all I care, what's important is its effective impact on the world stage. That it has had a major, continuing impact can't be overstated.
Woah woah woah. Is this chairmanhal posting in a topic about SF not reminding everyone that he was high leadership of an SF alliance and explaining to everyone how [he thinks] it all works? Also, more on topic, I felt there was a fairly close union for a brief point in time (sf / c&g teaparty anyone?) also the amount of time i spent talking to people of C&G alliances compared to anyone else.
 18. Triumvirate of Chefjoe, Tygaland, Xiphosis Everything else: RV
 19.
FEAR was founded on February 27th 2007, before that I was in ICP/SWF. I know you were involved in some of those early commie alliances... so yeah, congrats on not knowing how long you've been here. Also, how many other blocs do you know that have protectorate blocs? You think the logic behind Ragnablok is the same as the logic here? If so, you're sadly mistaken.
SF - TT failed miserably
 20.
I hope that dis. hearing doesn't lead to anything. Not a late hit, you can hit after someone gets rid of the puck, and it's a solid hit to the chest I THINK, haven't seen it in slowmo or anything from a good angle. If Horton was looking down everyone would just say, keep your head up, but because he's not paying attention by looking elsewhere it's different? Awesome check by Thomas, great two goals by Recchi, Recchi for MVP
well deserved suspension for anyone curious of the hit http://www.youtube.c...h?v=pUYqTE3cnuQ
 21. Good one RnR. Play all nicey nice moral alliance for years. Get into the biggest bloc in the game. Then once your position is secured, do whatever the $%&@ you want I'm glad i'm allied to you guys. =D
 22.
Yep. I wish we would cancel on IAA. Although I like Omni.
(off topic: Omni joined the dark side [GOD]) other than that, From what I have seen, neither NpO or UINE seem to use each other to the same extent.
 23.
This was the laugh of the day!
The only difference between this and blood for friends is this one has a better name terrible grouped together all around.
