NoR jumped into the war on an OA against wF (who was already at war with a couple large alliances) After a week or so of war, they "declare peace" which can be viewed as a surrender, or even as a "tactical defeat". I say this because the terms systematically remove NoR from the current conflict, while wF is free to reengage in the current conflict NoR leaves 3 of their allies still on the battlefield, all of which could have probably used the numerical help I just think that NoR heard someone's drums beating and wanted to get out as fast as possible.

One of the biggest things that i do know is that recently Hoo hasn't been active (which can be seen by his stepping down as emperor) and from what it seems from all the threads and rumors spreading like wildfire, only a few select people knew what was actually going on (you know, the way things like this should be) So logically one could induce that Hoo recently became active seeing there was a big war. He talks to some people who he trusts, they don't know the full truth on what is going on, thus his opinion is slightly skewed. He leaves RoK only to find out that he left for no reason at all Again, this is only based on what I know about the situation and the people involved, the former being limited.

As for those saying "10 months too late" ect. are obviously those who have never been in a leadership role of an alliance. It's one thing to be in govt. and vote to merge, but it's a completely different feeling and set of responsibilities to be a leader and come to this decision.
