My main worry is this whole "Friends > Infra" thing. Frankly, it's caught on far too well. This game only really works if you care about your infra. There's no real politics to be played out unless you care about your infra. Maybe we've just mastered the game mechanics so well that we can't really make drama that easily anymore. I mean, part of what made the GW's so awesome was because people could really mix stuff up with strategies. There's not much to do ( albeit, there's still military prowess differences and small things you can do) and so maybe CN's just gotten too comfortable. We should just merge the big alliances into micro-alliances with newbie leaders and let them have their go. Everybody: pick a micro ( I dibs PPF, regardless of what Opethian says )

This just makes me want to be a US resident even more. It's hard being a Canadian with a penchant for guns, though not impossibly so, I'd say maybe just annoyingly so. To show your sympathy, I think you should send us some of those Zippos. Come on. They're badass.

While I once felt I had the interest and time to get involved, create, and affect drama in CN, I no longer find this to be the case. I feel the others in leadership positions in Carpe Diem are with me. We'll stand by the allies we like, but we have no interest in CN drama of our own. Mayhaps this is the way many leaders feel. At the same time they don't wish to pass on the reigns of leadership to a younger generation that could wreck havoc to all they have made of their alliance. Sure, there are still big players, but I wouldn't be surprised if this were part of the lack of [i]real[/i] drama.

This was very much a one-way relationship and I am happy to see it go. Onwards and upwards, gentlemen.
