(OOC: For the record i do believe i deployed Sea Mines, and beefed up general defense.)

EDIT: OOPS!

St. Petersburg, Slavorussia

Molakian Army Post

Tsar Romanov slams his fist into his desk outside of the besieged city.

"WHAT!? They landed troops?! Those Schuttas! What about the city?"

"Sir, reports say that the invaders have not reached the city proper, and have not attacked civilians. However, we received a threat from the guys who bombed us. They threatened more attacks, telling us that attacks on our soldiers are the least threat."

"I swear, if they attack our citizens i will erase cities from our path. I will get them shot for shot. I care not for our military bases in the area...but our civilians deaths will force us to level in kind."

"Yes Sir. Also, i have casuality reports from the bombins..."

Molakian Casualities (All Corps)

Out of 70,000 Troops....

3000 Dead

5000 Wounded

100 APCs Destroyed

Many Damaged

Artillery is damaged, but Workable

AA Vehicles lightly damaged

(OOC: Results= Reduced Barrage Strength, Decreased Rush Power, Increased AA Coverage and Awareness)

"We hope our large AA cover took down some bombers before they left the area. From what I see Slavorussia is not sending troops to help the city. We are in the clear to move into the city soon."

The transports had been travelling for a while now and along the way their orders had been changed and now they were sailing down the strait in between the ADI and Slavorussia with their target insight. The land of Molakia stood before them and as they came within range the few converted transports fired their single shot missile salvos onto the beaches and slightly beyond. The rockets screeched as they left their launchers before arching through the air and slicing down onto the beaches where they detonated in bursts of fire and sharpnel. The missiles blasted craters into the beaches which would provide any protection the assaulting troops would need. With the final rockets of the barrage arching downwards the first wave of Helzan troops disembarked in their Higgin boats and started to head inshore. Fourty thousand troops would make up the first wave with a second wave of fourty thouands going in and then finally a third reserve wave of thwenty thousand heading in last.

The first wave headed in without coming under fire which was most likely due to the fact that the Molakia government probally didnt think they would be attacked from the sea. The first wave quickly disembarked and moved ahead to secure the beach head whilst the second wave headed inshore and the third wave began to line up for their run.

IC:

This offensive would be remembered as a dismal failure. The transports had happily swam into a very populated mine field, just after the first missile was fired, explosions began to happen all over the place and around them, and one by one they'd be forced to shatter, explode and then the pieces to sink, by the power of the Nordlandic Landmines.

The Nordheimer Luftwaffe also made their contribution in the form of a small elite group of 25 Bombers and 50 Fighters, who would contribute to the chaos by attacking the would-have-been invaders. It was a disaster, even without the Luftwaffe the naval mines were already enough to make invasion impossible.

OOC: I don't really mean to godmod, but, you *did* just swim into mines...though, note that by saying that it failed I don't necessarily mean that the troops are all gonna be lost, I'm just saying that "Continuing forwards=*massive* casualties", which doesn't imply that you'll necessarily go forward.

OOC: For the record, KM's post is legit. By saying the effects of the mines and expected casualties, it then gives the invaders a chance to actually RP their own casualties.

I was called to check on it, and so I have. I'm not evil, see!

Artemis Global Security Announcement

It has recently come to Artemis' attention that a call for peace hosted by Artemis fell apart when Slavorussia rejected the terms. Both sides are fighting furiously and both sides continue to see no end in sight. In light of this situation, the Nordlandic Confederacy has secured a medium-term contract with Artemis to assist in their war. Details of payment and details of the contract will not be given unless the client wishes.

In addition, use of chemical weapons has been authorized if chemical weapons are used against our troops, but nuclear weapons will not be used unless both sides are engaged in nuclear warfare.

Thank you.

//classified

At the moment, only general movements were being made. The standard two seventy-five thousand garrisons from North Africa and Sicily both left immediately, sailing across to Southern Europe. Another two groups of seventy-five thousand troops were being flown across to Europe. Three thousand tanks were being prepped and shipped immediately. The plan was to get to Ukraine and fight from there. No foreign waters or airspace were violated.

"Heh, the terrain here reminds me of the marshlands back at home"

Bundeswehr_G36.jpg

Bellorussia indeed was the geographical wasteland that they had been briefed on. It's thick forests and seemingly endless swamps were only highlighted by poorly built roads leading to small hamlets every few kilometers. It was becoming troublesome slogging through the muddy water and engaging in hostile combat every few hours. Though it was lightly protected and the Russian objective was to not drive out the Prussian forces, but to rather delay them, combat became increasingly difficult toward the epicenter of the nation.

In an effort to quicken the advance, Prussian bombers would begin defoliation operations over Belorussia to allow for greater access to enemy positions via air and allow Prussia soldiers to fire upon advanced enemy positions beyond the current range.

Prussian Military Command--Warsaw:

Valkyria-Chronicles-11.jpg

The mysterious woman sat among Prussian Generals and the Chief Envoy to the Kaiser.

She spoke.

"Our forces lie behind Nordheim's military in the Baltic...how many again?"

A general spoke.

"Three hundred thousand strong and their armor compliments, ma'am"

She jotted down the number on a pad of paper.

"Now...let us stabilize the fronts, shall we? Advance 200,000 north on the Baltic to meet the Nordheim Heer and continue front line combat operations with them. As for the other 100,000, advance them to the Belorussian front. Once the full defoliation of the area has been completed, animal trails, small roads and unseen or abandoned highways should be open for a quick advance to the front."

Another general spoke.

"What of the Tanks, ma'am?"

She smiled.

"Let them clear their own paths in the flatlands and hills, the additional ground forces should be able to clear the swamps and dense woodpiles in the coming days. The preexisting forces should be enough to hold the enemy back, however with this new advance, they should be utterly decimated."

She smirked, "Who knew that this day would come in our lives?"

Objective Donnerschlag:

Just the few hours after the limited "success" of the Nordheimer CN sent to deal with the RUSSIAN railways at Russia, Nordheimer leadership had contacted the rest of the leadership...the objective was to coordinate their long range Cruise Missiles on the different parts of the RUSSIAN railway network at Slavorussia. Things were plotted carefully.

At Slavorussia proper, the rails were hit systematically in its branches in order to make sending reinforcements to Moscow, the North or the Caucasus literally impossible, the combined firing of 300 missiles was ment to enable this. The missiles were fired "redundantly", meaning each target had been shot at by two missiles, in order to make it so that even if missile defences have some success, objectives to be achieved anyway.

As always, the rails were struck in sectors which did not have adjacent or surrounding civilians, and the weapons weren't a very high yield: Just enough to physically destroy a section of railway and leave a crater enough to demand serious engineering working and time in order to do anything.

At least, that was the theory. As the missiles now go to their targets, it will have to see if it all plays out as expected. Already plans had been made in case of a failure.

Molakia

The first German units began to arrive in the small country of Molakia. These men were from the 32nd Infantry Division and totaled about 15,000 Troops. They would rest and equip upon arriving and ship off to strategic areas within the next day or two. Alongside these troops were three Preatorian Surface to Air Missile batteries. They would be sent to areas around Molakia to guard against the frequent bomber attacks.

From the skies, three squadrons of Luftwaffe Lu-65 Eagles Air Superiority Fighters and one squadron of Lu-47 Super Interceptors landed at various airports. They would be used mostly for air defense, as part of operation Protektion. They would work in conjunction with local Xenian AWACs to monitor the skies.

Battle for St. Petersburg

Molakian forces had made a grave mistake invading Slavorussia and bypassing all cities and towns on their rout to St Petersburg. It is the second most heavily guarded city in the empire. The former capital was a fortress, and had countless places for the Slavorussian troops to take refuge in. while artillery fell on the city all the Molakians did was injure, maim or kill civilians. As a result of the high civilian casualty rate the northern districts are evacuated.

Slavorussian artillery in the city is either destroyed or unable to return efficient fire, but hopefully that is about to change. As the Molakians approached the city the scream of Slavorussian bombers could be heard from above. The bombers fly overhead and carpet bomb the Molakians, focusing primarily on the artillery, but also target the concentrations of tanks and soldiers.

A defensive line is formed between Lakes Ladoga and Onega on the border to prevent any more Molakians from invading Slavorussia, while reinforcements move swiftly towards St. Petersburg.

The Nordheim/Prussian Front

As the Nordheimers and Prussians pushed further east, and approached the main resistance line, Slavorussian forces move west to meet the invaders. Outnumbered at least 5 to 1 the Slavorussians realize they’re most likely going to suffer a lot casualties from this attack, but the window to attack is narrow and will be gone soon. They must proceed now or they will loose the opportunity.

When the Slavorussians encounter the invaders open fire immediately, heavy artillery fire the first shots. They fire a barrage of projectiles at the advancing enemy. Then Slavorussian armor, armed with armor piercing explosive rounds they unleash their fury on the incoming armies. Although Slavorussian tanks are not as heavily armored they’re smaller, lighter and more maneuverable than that of the Nordheimer’s This gives them a distinct advantage over the heavy armored enemy tanks. In the skies 5 squadrons of escorted bombers move in to attack heavy concentrations of troops and counter the enemy’s fighters. In addition precision strikes are launched at enemy artillery to prevent them from returning any suppressive fire.

Infantry units although exposed are equipped with sticky bombs, tank destroying grenades, and anti-tank missile systems similar to the FGM-148 Javelin. If they can get close enough they can destroy enemy armored vehicles with the grenades, and the Javelins could be used from much greater distances.

Slavorussia’s fury is unleashed in a single coordinated attack and they expect the enemy to suffer casualties equal to or greater than their own.

CSSR/Germany/whoever else Front

Having suffered serious casualties, and unable to hold the line. Slavorussian troops retreat farther into Belarussia, and reestablish defensive lines. Soldiers dig into fox holes, and trenches. Equipped with anti-armor weapons similar to those used in Lithuania and northern Belarussia the Slavorussians wait for the enemy to advance farther. Communication lines are down in several areas, and Slavorussians have a hell of a time coordinating the defense. (ooc: I think Mykep was handling this front. Slavorussian troops will still be under my control of course but I need to consult with him and cent on this front.)

Elsewhere

Inside Slavorussia Nordheim’s cruise missile strikes prove to be effective, perhaps not to their complete satisfaction, but they are successful in cutting off supplies to the northern front, and hampered movement to the west.

ooc: overwhelmed tired and frustrated. Triyun I hope the paragraph I wrote is satisfactory, my troops have retreated several km and reset the defensive lines. Also Maltose I like your format, so I'm stealing it. B)

Molakian Front

Noticing the rapid deployments of superior forces in Molakia the next stage of Operation Chicken had to commence. Another Bomber Squadron accompanied with Fighter Escort and several Transport Aircraft behind would move to St. Petersburg. As the bombers and fighters arrived they would again release cluster munition to increase the destruction and minefield the Soldiers would have not caring for losses but only protecting the Transports several fighters and bombers would get hit but this wasn't important what followed was Aircraft carrying a total of 2000 Paratroopers to drop over St. Petersburg to reinforce Defences waiing for reinforcements to arrive. They would, 50,000 Soldiers and 1,000 tanks of the total of 120,000 and 2000 Deployed were moving to St. Petersburg in independent groups who would regroup at the front of course through Allied Controlled land to be exact land that didn't even got attacked yet.

Back at St. Petersburg the 2,000 Soldiers would move into Buildings to use Guerilla like tactics especially using anti-tank weapons to takeout armored vehicles and Rifles to take out Soldiers.

Total Losses of the last 2 raids:

F-35: 5

B-2: 3

Soldiers: 15

To the Volk and to the Weld!

Nordic Intelligence has indicated that RUSSIA and her allies have used CLUSTER WEAPONS upon YOUR city! These weapons hold massive destructive properties, and many undetonated explosives linger in fields and even streets for YEARS. In addition to these horrible weapons, landmines have been places in YOUR streets.

East Voronezh, Slavorussia

After only 24 hours, the Azerbaijani Command led by General Hebib bey Selimov, established an operative Head Quarter in the small town of Tresvatskaya to coordinate the supplies coming from Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. The first motorized units began their patrol duties in the Voronezh oblast, to assist the population and provide civilians with water and medical supplies. No sign of the enemy yet, but 250 men along with 10 T-72 and 20 BMP-2 are being moved into the east side of the town to assist he local police in law enforcment duties.

The command knows the enemy is preparing some kind of assault on the east side of the town, where Azeri troops have been assigned by the Azeri High Command in Baku, but the airforce didn't find a place to organize a defence yet, and the task force counts on 5 new brand Shilka to defend the skies of Voronezh. With a range of 450Kms, the Shilkas have been deployed into high strategic positions around the town, hidden in the forests or between ruined buildings, to avoid being spotted by scouts and enemy patrols.

Although the Slavorussia citizens are upset over the use of landmines, which often tend to be a major danger to civilians, long after armed conflicts cease they despise the NC for forcing Slavorussian army to take such measures.

In cities like Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Minsk and Moscow Slavorussian citizens march to protest the war. They burn the flags of the invading countries, and spit on images of their leaders. One man was even photographed defecating on an image of the German Kaiser. Together they send a clear message that all Slavorussians are united in the effort to remove the invaders from their homeland.

They should have expected the approaches to have been mined however, with their landing zone set away from the nearest population centre they hadn't expected to encounter any and for this error they paid a heavy price as another ship hit a mine and a fountain of water and debris was shot into the air before crashing back down. The transport started to list at a 10 degree angle but it still managed to get all of its landing craft off before it sank beneath the waves. Then came the enemy aircraft which bombed, missiled and strafed the transports and cost the entire fleet another six transports and fourteen landing craft along with a large number of soldiers who were onboard them. The landing craft themselves didn't hit any mines other than two unfortunate craft which were both disintegrated. When the landing craft had made it to shore the survivors spread out so that anymore enemy aircraft runs would'nt inflict as many fatalities whilst those armed with anti-aircraft rockets took up the best positions they could to provide an envelope of air protection. Meanwhile the first wave had already spread out and were now running a few recon missions to better gauge the area and the most likly approaches enemy ground forces would take.

Losses:

16 Transports lost, 10 left

16 Landing craft lost.

20,567 Soldiers lost, 79343 soldiers left

OOC: SMall note for St. Petersburg. During one of my last wars, I had completely leveled it and rebuilt it from scratch in the classic Ubersteinian fashion. That means concrete, steel, choke points, underground tunnels connecting buildings, with a large core of civilian buildings. It's designed like an old medieval fortresses but with modern tactics and technology.

And didn't I build a HUGE defencive line on my old boarder with Slavorussia? If someone has an old enough map you can see just where that line was.

Who know that something I did would end up hurting the Nords, lol.

EDIT: I'll put a link to this post in ISSUES so that people can reply to it.

OOC: This post is in response to King V's. I will have a larger post tonight on the general war.

Molakian Front

The Luftwaffe, of the Greater German Reich, had sent in various Unmanned Aerial Vehicle to monitor the landings on the Molakian Coast. These UAVs were the GF11 Archer Tactical Reconnaissance Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. They were small craft, only having a total speed of 56 knots, but they would get the job done. They loitered around the enemy forces, taking High Definition Camera shots and realtime video. These were being transmitted to Luftwaffe units to maximize air response.

When the data was transmitted, the Luftwaffe units quickly scrambled Lu-67 Multi-Role fighters from Molakian air bases. The fighters were loaded with 1,000lb High Explosive bombs and fletchette cluster munitions, which would unleash pointed steel projectiles that would rip the flesh of the enemy to bits. The Luftwaffe would attack all day and night if necessary to wipe out the enemy completely or until Molakian Forces decided to counter attack.

On the ground, the Praetorian Missile Battery units had finished their preparations. Now, Molakian Airspace was under protection from missile, bomber and fighter attacks. The division of German troops had received their first orders. They would march to the coastal regions and set up defensive positions, to fight back the invaders.

Kotka, Molakia

After a day or two of traveling around the coast of continental Europe, the White Cross aid fleet, escorted by the German destroyers arrived near Kotka in Molakia. The aid workers had been warned this was a war zone and that they were coming in at their own risk, Hanseatic workers in addition were also warned that Molakian citizenry still regarded them with an air of discontent and were told not to reveal their ethnicity. If asked, they would say another country that was involved in the White Cross to keep from causing any problems. The civilian casualties had resulted after a hospital had been bombed during a RUSSIAN air strike and this was to be the White Cross' first objective as they personnel and material made their way over towards the hot zones in Kotka to begin dispensing aid to the needy.

For Alexandra Montesque, this was her baptism of fire as she ran off the transport, dressed in an old nurse's uniform she had been given after leaving the harbor in Brisbane. Around her were doctors, technicians, and a fair and few amount of construction workers. They had been told to make their work fast and that if they were caught in a bombing raid the only chance they had was to pray to God. This was war, they were now in the middle of it.

Molakian soldiers stop the WC workers at the gates of the city.

"Dang! Cant you people not enter ACTIVE warzones? Oi Vey....Any case, Im Brig. General Doc Roe, Molakian Intelligence. If you here for the hospital....its a mess. Nothing can be salvaged. One of the few places not to be hit is the Imperial Palace. The Tsarina and the Imperial Guard are using it as a hospital and a military center."

Roe points to the fancy looking building in the middle of the city.

"Also, keep in mind that Enemy troops HAVE landed, our National Guard is bombing the beachs with artillery, but we cannot hold them forever. Our allies are here but kotka may be evacuated."

Kotka, Molakia

Battlefront

The Molakians yell at the success of their mines, but note the soldiers are still coming. They open up with Machine guns and artillery once again, but are pushed back by superior firepower. The National Guard takes up positions around the capital, waiting for a chance to counter attack.

St. Petersburg, Slavorussia

"INCOMING!" Yelled Antonev Frolov as Slavorussian Bombers pounded the molakian siege circle. Many soldiers are killed, as the Molakians did not face any resistance en route to the city. The Molakian artillery are crippled, as all Mobile AA was directed to protect the soldiers.

Speaking of AA, the AA Guns, using radar, fired at not only the slow bombers, but the relatively slow moving transport planes. Even if they got their troops out, the rapid fire guns of the AA would hopefully take out many paratroopers. The molakians break out the few AA Missles they have, tired of being bombed out.

"Tsar Nikolai! The Slavorussians have blocked our retreat path! We cannot go back without breaking the siege!" yelled one of Nikolai's officers.

"Vox! Push Ahead! Once we get rid of these planes, push into the city and fortify! Even if Slavo doesnt hit us on the ground, i doubt they would bomb their own cities. Let our Allies know that we are cut off, but still alive. We cannot starve out the city...but we can take it!" yells Nikolai as he loads his AK.

-----Emergency Broadcast to Nordic Coalition-----
Molakian Forces have been cut off from homeland. We are able to continue fighting, but the plan to starve out the city is impossible. Moving to attack the city later today.

Notice to Allies: Find and protect the Tsarina at all cost!

(OOC Results of Bombings: Artillery severely damaged, Many soldiers killed. Supply lines cut off, may resort to looting to stay fed.)

Casualty Reports from the front:

4000 Dead

7000 Wounded

Remaining Troops at full readiness: 51,000

Artillery at 40% Fire Strength

AA Vehicles at 80%

APCs at 70%

Squadron Leader Shing Tao sat stiffly in his figher, currently heading towards the engagement zone. His mind raced as he recalled the briefing he had received just minutes ago in the Slavorussian capital.

Men, you have been called forth to serve in President Landry's first military operation. Failure is not an option here, only we can prove to the world the might of the Melvin Republic! I am sure you have all seen the President's speech, and you fully understand the reasons we are now in foreign soil. Let me be the first to tell you, money is the last reason she has sent us here. *Pictures of mangled civilians are projected on the wall*

THIS is the reason we fight, these citizens are being wrested from the sovereignty of the Slavorussian Empire by use of military means. Just recently, we have received reports that cluster munitions and landmines have been used in densely populated areas. These barbaric military tactics can not, WILL not, stand up to our advanced tactics and technology.

All F-35 squadrons are being scrambled at this moment. We currently have 40 within the capital and the majority. The entirety of these squadrons, including your's Shing Tao, will be running combat operations over Belarus and the Ukrainian border. At NO TIME, will you cross the border into foreign lands and any perpetrators of this will be tried for treason. Let's not bring our countrymen into this...

You are to fly at high altitudes and scan the lower skies for enemy air squadrons. At the moment, high command has given priority to enemy fighters and interceptors. Engage until depletion of fuel and ammo, then return to the capital. Godspeed, and farewell.

Shing Tao looked to his left and right where squads 4 and 5 should be, and counted all ten. Tao glanced down at his display, his squadron was now entering known hostile airspace. He gave the order, "Squadron 3, 4, and 5, initiate boost phase, obtain an altitude of 9 miles and maintain electronic reconnaissance." The squad leader placed his hand on the throttle, preparing himself for the massive G-forces he was about to face. He turned off his microphone as his plane began tipping upward. "GGAAAAHHHHHH!" he screamed as his plane fought against earth's gravity. He could feel the compression in his spine as his body was forced into the seat. At least he was getting paid well...

"Level off, stay vigilant men." They flew for another 10 minutes, then:

"Sir, I have detected a strong infrared signature 120 clicks to the Southeast."

"Does anyone else have confirmation?"

"Affirmative sir, the signature has been identified as military aircraft."

"Do we have visual confirmation?"

"Negative sir, the cloud cover below us has our view completely blocked"

Communications officer Daniel Stinch added, "Sir, I have checked out allied air control, those planes are not ours."

A rush of adrenaline coursed through Tao, "Men, let's show the world what the Melvin Republic Air Force is all about! Begin descent in 4 seconds, plot an intercept course with a 50 mile window, and ready your weapons."

The fifteen planes arced downward through the dense cloud cover, "Do not fire your weapons until I give the order, I want to make sure the first shot fired is an enemy kill and not a blunder that will be remembered."

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

Shing Tao looked down in his display. MISSILE LOCK was glaring in red, and immediately the squadron leader's training and intuition took over. The X-15 screamed as he went into a deeper descent and he burst out of the cloud cover. The slowed to a standstill as he surveyed the situation. The view was frightening, at least a dozen planes filled the front screen of his $@pit. He felt eerily alone amongst his enemies. He was abruptly removed from this time-slowing perspective...

BEEP BEEP

Tao slammed his hand into the "Engage Flares" button and dozens of white hot phosphorous was jettisoned out of the back of his jet. The resulting explosion and cessation of beeping affirmed their effectiveness. OH MY GOD, he had forgotten the order!

"ALL SQUADRONS ENG...." his communication was cut off by a brief but sharp static across the radio. Tao knew immediately what had happened, and watched as his wingman took several hits in the left engine. The plane tilted to the left, and violently exploded. "..AGE TARGETS!"

Fourteen missiles nearly simultaneously rocketed towards the enemy formation, and soon the entire sky was full of dogfighting fighter jets. Shing Tao pulled left to avoid a missile, and watched as his screamed toward an enemy jet. He shouted, "YES!" when he saw the one of the plane's wings detach. Another one of the enemy planes exploded a mile behind his kill, and soon the radio was becoming full of confirmed kills. Tao himself had scored 3 kills in the first five minutes of combat, and he was glad he had trained so hard.

After ten minutes the aircraft of the Melvin Republic had swept the sky of enemy planes. Shing Tao spoke over the radio, "Give me active confirmation men."

"Here."

"Here."

"Here."

"Here."

"Here."

"Here."

Tao waited a little longer... "Is that it, do we only have seven of us left?"

"I'm afraid so, sir."

"Well, we have done good today boys. Report missile count."

"Two"

"Two"

"Three"

"None"

"One"

"None"

"Three"

"Set course back to the base, we can re-arm and rest up for the night. We earned it."

The planes banked toward the center of Slavorussa, and began engaging cruise speeds.

"Officer Stinch, please inform Slavorussian AA command of our intended route."

"Yes sir. Wait a second, I've got a reading here. Sensor detect incoming radar signature and is closing in on our position fast!"

(OOC) Sorry if I god-moded here, but aerial combat is much less vague than land-based I feel and my airforce is the only branch my nation is really 'good' at for its advanced technology level. However, I opened it up to RP if you would like.

I'm pretty sure it is Triyun who occupies this area, but wasn't sure so I didn't include nationality.

EDIT: cokcpit = bad word apparently

EDIT2: Took out my cool stuff :P

*Message to Bosporan*

We shall be sending 2 more squads of F-35 Lightning Aircrafts. They shall dock in your country before flying into Molakia and going on a bombing run because we have had enough of their !@#$%^&*.

Regards,

CEO Keshav.

*Classified*

With that 2 squads of unpainted F-22 Lightning's have been mobilized. All marks of an attack from Beijing Corp has been removed and the metal is light and the planes were ready to engage and destroy Molakia. Except for the metal and the Engine no traces of where the planes were made couldn't be found.

Seeing the Slavorussian footage, many citizens of Promised Land were at first horrified, then outright angered. Protests began forming, DEMANDING that Promised Land outright join the war effort.

In a closed session of Congress, the idea was debated. It is rumored they have come to a decision, but that decision has not been announced.

***Classified***

The militia was organized, full recruitment initiated. Troops were shipped to the nearest ports for transport, though none were told where they were going. Orders were only being given to the captains of the transports, and then only in hand-written or typed messages, not transmitted over any form of communication that could be overheard.

DEFCON 1 meant also that by now, the entire air force and navy were now mobilized.
