1.
What? The war was still going. And while it's true they'd still be getting curbstomped by SG, all they needed was some time to pull the Gremlins nations down to where they could be mobbed on by IRON's numbers. Just saying that IRON had the high NS nations they needed, let them peace out, and are now complaining that they don't have then high NS nations they need. "Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part." I have a life so unfortunately I can't sit here debating you 24/7. When I feel ready to take on the monumentally time wasting task of proving a widely accepted fact that you are whining, I will do so. And then my word will be enough for you, because you are clearly wrong on this subject (lying through your teeth, even.) I mean not really. All they're demanding is a few words, albeit demanding it in a terrible way. I have seen nothing to suggest that IRON will be paying any appreciable amount of reps, and therefore all I have to base my opinion on is Gremlins' past. I KNEW IT MAN. That Penkala is so full of !@#$. WE'VE NEVER WHINED! EVER! In 300 pages of posts that loser won't even be able to find a single tear from us!
Writing in caps doesn't make you appear smarter... in fact it has quite the reverse effect. I find it hilarious that you have claimed dozens of times that IRON is constantly "whining," yet you cannot produce one piece of evidence to back yourself. People are not going to take you seriously if you "don't have the time" to back yourself up, while obviously spending a great deal of time writing rhetoric and out-of-context responses.
2.
So I'm still waiting for Penkala to show me IRON whining like he said he would. If it is really so easy of a point to prove.
Lol, I love it Gamemaster1. I knew that he would not actually bring up the post, he just responded and hoped that everyone one would forget about it.
3. Yeah ejay, your objective analysis of the situation is "complete bullcrap." Just join a side, put the blinders on, and spout the party line. That way you can know you are always right! /sarcasm Avalon, I wish you the best of luck in your investigation, I hope it is speedy.
4. Your scenario doesn't even remotely fit the situation. The Karma War was a unique set of circumstances that cannot be summed up with a hypothetical scenario such as the one you have described.
5. I mean, really? That's how you open your response with?
6. Wait, this was for real? Yes, let's remove the competitiveness from the game. That will certainly stimulate interest in the game from new players. Also, let's just remove the long-term aspect from the game too. A newbie's nation should be equally as strong as my two-year old nation! It's only fair!
7. You can't trademark that! That's what I named IRON's rebuilding program.
8. I'm very pleased to see this! o/ IRON Council o/ Legion
9. IRON-related duties will significantly reduce my activity, so I am requesting a semi-lock for a little while. I will post on the things of most importance, but for the most part my nation will be following along with the Dragon Empire.
10. We second this vote card exactly. OOC: dude, that's crazy.
11. "You are granted access to the lands in that area, as far as I am concerned." "If any Empire members have objections to Acca Dacca's interest in our protectorate zone, please say so."
12. "I tend to agree with Cochin regarding the price of such a switch, I believe we should carry out the standardization of our military as we retire old hardware and replace it. Would that encourage Cochin to agree with the proposal? Melvin Republic votes Yes on missile standardization.
13. OOC: That's hilarious. Freakwars, in realtime RP the war is probably over but we(they) want to make it fun. Just RP the withdrawal of your troops from the Khmer Front if you want to do a continous RP.
14. "Indeed, I'm almost certain the Empire would have joined this treaty if Article 4 was not in the treaty."
15. Our economic analysts have researched this Main Battle Tank switch to the Sea Tyrant, and have found that the additional costs incurred by switching to this tank do not exceed the benefits of increased military effectiveness. The Melvin Republic endorses a military standardization using the Sea-Tyrant MK. 2 MBT.
16. The Melvin Republic looks forward to relations with Acca Dacca, let our future be prosperous and peaceful. If you are interested in joining the Dragon Bloc, a confederation of nations that defend one another and maintain peace in Asia. You could also join the Dragon Empire itself and become part of the most stabilizing force in the world, while bringing economic benefits to your people.
17. President Landry: "Lady Tintagyl, you leave our chambers too quickly. I believe that joining the White Cross is in the Empire's best interests, economically and internationally speaking. Please stick around for a while, and do not be too quick to judge. I have read through your organization and see no fault in it, just because my comment is absent doesn't mean my mind is as well." --- "The Melvin Republic proposes that we join the White Cross, with the stipulation that our goods and services are purchased from within the Empire. This way there is no economic strain on our nations. Keep in mind, I truly do not like using my veto powers. However, in this case I will veto the 24 hour voting extension clause. The Empire has succeeded so well in the past due to its rapid respobnse time to crisises. We have also succeeded because our Triumvirate and our Congress have always coordinated so well. Keeping these facts in mind, I prefer to give the Empire the flexibility to extend voting periods for sensitive/debatable issues and keep the 24 hour clause for unanimous and emergency decisions. So again, I veto the 48 hour voting period proposal. Remember, if you feel strongly about this clause I can be overriden. Instead I propose that any member of the Triumvirate may extend the voting time. This way if a Imperial member wants to have the time extended, it can be done in a personal and effective way and not be decided arbitrarily by our Constitution."
