Centurius
St. Petersburg, SlavorussiaMolakian Siege Line "TURN THE CITY INTO A COOKIE LADS!" yells one commander of 1st Corps. The 1st Corps of the Molakian Army pushes foward, turning inward to form a semi circle. 2nd Corps finishes the circle, with the two halves coming around. The Artillery moves foward and around the city to bombard it. Nikolai Romanov looks at the battle plan, then frowns. "Get me a radio! Frolov, Take 10,000 men and their APCs, AAA, etc and form a fast reaction unit. If we start to get flanked i want some help for those boys!" he yells, moving his men around. The City shall fall soon.... ------- St. Petersburg, Slavorussia Inside the City Slavorussian Snipers watch the Molakian soldiers cafefully, while the local units set up mortars and other heavy weapons with impunity. The lack of fighters in the area makes it easy to sneak.... To destroy Molakian moral Command approved a daring attack plan. Using technical superiority 2 Bomber Squadrons accompanied by 5 F-35 Squadrons flew towards Molakian territory the Stealth being immune to any Radar system Molakia had would make the attack completely by surprise. After a trip of a few hours they arrived at the Molakian capital and released their payload over hundreds perhaps even thousands conventional bombs were launched across the City primarily at Government and Military targets but Civilian targets would get hit by accident too. In the confusion 1 Bomber was hit and got destroyed by enemy AA Fire. The others proceeded back a different course this time to avoid detection. Malatose
High Command of the Armed Forces The situation in the room was tense. At the meeting were various members of the German Armed Forces. One of them was Generalfeldmarschall and Commander-in-Chief East, Kurt Fockland, who was ordered by the Kaiser to leave the Eastern Front and attend the meeting. They all stood around a digital map, which pin pointed just about every major operation in the East. As the men discussed the current situation, the Kaiser entered the room. He was wearing his grey uniform, showing his position as Commander-in-Chief of all Reich Armed Forces. All the men saluted; however, the Kaiser didn't feel the need to return the salute, as he more concerned with the current situation. He looked at the map and began to glance around, taking in the entire situation. He then began to speak. "Generalfeldmarschall, what is the current situation in the East." Kurt Fockland walked forward, and leaned over the map. The look on his face of of confidence, but he knew the situation at the moment was at a stalemate. "Mein Kaiser, German forces are currently involved in an operation to take the cities of Orel and Veronezh. If we capture these areas, I do believe we could swing the war decisively into our favor. At the start of operations, we progessed some 80km into SlavoRussia; however, our offense has stalled." Visari shook his head in disapproval "Why has our offensive stalled, Generalfeldmarschall?" Kurt began to respond. "Mein Kaiser, the nation of Northern Empire had sent forces to SlavoRussia and launched a very stiff and coordinated counter-offensive. We were forced to cede some ground, as we had not consolidated our positions. We retreated with an elastic defense. We shall be prepared to launch our own attack, by the end of the day." Visari nodded "What about casualties?" Kurt began to speak again. "Kaiser, we have sustained, somewhat, heavy casualties since the beginning of the campaign. However, they are totally expected. After all, we are leading the attack towards Moscow, the capital of SlavoRussia. Currently, we have sustained the following: 10,000 Troops killed, 200 Nakil 1AH3, 150 Arica I Infantry Fighting Vehicle and 30 Aircraft. Our losses are quickly being replaced with fresh troops from the west. Armoured Vehicles are being replaced as well, although at a slower pace." Visari shook his head in approval. "I trust Generalfeldmarschall, you willl lead the Reich to victory. As soon as all available assets are ready, I want the offensive launched. In the meantime, hold the line and surrender only when necessary." Generalfeldmarschall Kurt Fockland saluted the Kaiser and stepped back. Visari then began to speak again. "I urge all of you to remain vigilant and steadfast. This won't be an easy war. I never promised that. There will be a tremendous loss of life. However, we are securing the future of a continent. We are bringing the bandit SlavoRussian government to justice. We are ending slavery for the SlavoRussian people. I trust all of you will walk with me in this struggle." All the officers in the room saluted and the Kaiser walked out. Deployment of German Troops to Molakia **Secret IC** Upon hearing of the bombardment of Kotka, the High Command of the Armed Forces ordered a division of German troops to be deployed to Molakia. In addition, three squadrons of Lu-65 Eagle Air Superiority Fighters and one squadron of Lu-27 Condor Interceptors were deployed. Deploying alongside the German troops would be four Praetorian Surface to Air Missile batteries. They would set a quick Air Defense Network to protect important military and population centers. Ground forces would be transported by elements of the Kraigsmarine Merchant Marine Service. They'd be under the constant protection of a Kreigsmarine Carrier Battle Squadron, consisting of One carrier, 1 Destroyer, 1 Frigate and 3 Submarines. That is your right, but you must understand that we will also set our own guards, as we are hardly neutral in this whole affair. To think that they spit in the face of the people who sent them money to rebuild yet call themselves honorable, that is just hypocritical and their government ought to be treated like anyone else who commits THEFT. If they have even a single share of stock in this company, I will be sure to give it as a gift to some rabid dogs, because they deserve it more than this nation run by criminals." Rebeu commented. You evidently failed to listen to the entire announcent. We will pay back the loan...but not until this war is concluded. We will have no part in funding unwarranted aggression. In no wise do we ever say we will not honor our debts. From the Prussian Loan Offices:"Although the line of credit (at no interest) was offered to the people of Promised Land by a bank ran by a foreign government, the line of credit is recognized by all world banks. By defaulting on a payment this massive, Promised Land will be forced to file bankruptcy...and with such a strike on their financial institutions and industry--funds across the nation will be shockingly hard to find." OOC: Welcome to the nations who file bankruptcy club, Iceland is in the back Withdraw from the war or end it, and payments will resume. OOC: Actually, I think that by now what was left is payed off at least halfway. Do you remember the original amount? "We highly encourage Promised Land to seek its credit in Dragonisia, we still have banks willing to lend and receive your money." We thank Dragonisia for their offer. King Kevz
The transports had been travelling for a while now and along the way their orders had been changed and now they were sailing down the strait in between the ADI and Slavorussia with their target insight. The land of Molakia stood before them and as they came within range the few converted transports fired their single shot missile salvos onto the beaches and slightly beyond. The rockets screeched as they left their launchers before arching through the air and slicing down onto the beaches where they detonated in bursts of fire and sharpnel. The missiles blasted craters into the beaches which would provide any protection the assaulting troops would need. With the final rockets of the barrage arching downwards the first wave of Helzan troops disembarked in their Higgin boats and started to head inshore. Fourty thousand troops would make up the first wave with a second wave of fourty thouands going in and then finally a third reserve wave of thwenty thousand heading in last. The first wave headed in without coming under fire which was most likely due to the fact that the Molakia government probally didnt think they would be attacked from the sea. The first wave quickly disembarked and moved ahead to secure the beach head whilst the second wave headed inshore and the third wave began to line up for their run. Temporary anti air defenses have been set up around the perimeter to defend the town and its key train station where supplies are coming from Azerbaijan, trought Dagestan and Slavorussia. Soldiers carried chocolate bars and water for the locals, suffering from the battle of Voronezh which will soon see the partecipation of the Azeri expeditionary force, consisting of 1660 soldiers, 50 T-72 Tanks, 80 BMP-2 Infantry Fighting Veichles and special anti tank squads armed with RPG-7 and Strela rocket launcher as countermeasure to the German airforce shelling the city. A few artillery batteries are being assembles to be transported in strategic positions and strike back against the west side of the City, which is reported to be under heavy enemy fire. The plan is to set up permament defences on the east side of the lake, and form a stronghold to hold while the Allies will flank the enemy. Azeri troops are well trained and equipped, but are not able to sustain long firefights, nor repel large human waves or resist heavy artillery fire. As the radio operator set up its equipment in a ruined building, enctrypted communications revealed to the Allies the position of the Azeri HQ, where supplies an logistic support are ready to be dispatched wherever they are needed on the frontline. The whole force has been ordered to defend the down, especially from air raids. For this purpose, anti raid sirens have been installed on the top of the Church and Town Hall, to alert the civilian population when a danger is on sight. To detect incoming airplanes, the Expeditionary Force is equipped with a P-70 mobile radar system, deployed to a hidden strategic position around the town. Tons after tons of aid had arrived and the young man, who had just graduated from the university was in charge. His organization skills were impeccable and the Lady Protector had talked to him herself, saying that much of their operations would rely on organization. Uralica
[OOC] http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=53482 [/OOC] Uralic-Bashkir Border, Oktyabrskiy Jarkko was anxiously pacing around. After having heard of catastrophe at Viipuri, sending his request to RUSSIAN for lumber aid, declaring to the world that Uralica would NOT be declaring war on Molakia, and making public his readying for defence of the nation against unsanctioned attacks, he had literally run his fastest from the Council Chambers ("like a cheetah on steroids," his right-hand man Akhmetkhan Gubaidulin had said) to the parking lot, got in his custom-built Merkuur (with the Uralican flag on painted his hood and the blue stripes extending in every direction with his white and blue paint-job), and drove like a man possessed to get to Oktyabrskiy, where the main point of ingress into Uralic Bashkortostan from the west lay. He now anxiously paced around the office above the ridiculously crowded nation-entrance berths, where thousands upon thousands of cars were lined up as far as the eye could see, even with the four lanes going either way purposely expanding to ten for precisely 800 metres of road. "Chief, got something here you should see," one of the customs officer on hand said, turning to Jarkko and smiling. "You're gonna love this." Jarkko almost lunged toward the officer's computer, he was there so quickly. There were several names on the screen, and right at the bottom were these names: SALOMÄKI, MIIKKO SALOMÄKI, RAISA SALOMÄKI, JUKKA SALOMÄKI, KALEVA SALOMÄKI, HELMI Jarkko was overjoyed. His entire immediate family had made it out of Viipuri in one piece. He looked skyward and shouted, "THANK YOU GOD!!" "I can have berth 10 held up if you wish to speak to them," the customs officer said. "No, just have B-10 direct them to the parking lot of the Krasnyy Oktyabr Restaurant, where I will meet them," Jarkko said, suddenly feeling very giddy.
