Duncan King
An Announcement from Zenith Medals Ceremony Hello Cyber Nations! Since my "retirement" as External Triumvir of Zenith, I have tried to cede the lime light to the new generation of Zenithians who stepped up to replace me. An alliance is more than one member (no matter how "famous" s/he is) and focusing on only one prominent member short changes the whole. However, on special occasions, I am happy to make myself known. This is such a special occasion as I have the honor of presenting the campaign medals to the members of Zenith for their contribution to the TOP/CNG War. We went into this war knowing that we would be facing one heck of a fight and we were not disappointed. Gremlins and Fark proved to be very skilled opponents and they inflicted significant damage to our alliance. We lost more than a third of our nation strength and most of our members spent the entire war under the dueling pressures of a triple team attack and nuclear assault. But instead of succumbing to anarchy and depression, the alliance endured. We did not lose a single member to surrender or desertion. Everyone involved did his or her best and because of that, we survived. It is a great time to be a Zenithian. In the coming months, we will have to deal with the difficult task of rebuilding as many of our members lost significant amounts of money, infrastructure, technology, and nation strength. We will have to learn to acclimate to the limited opportunities that come with having much smaller member nations. But we can worry about that another day. Now is the time to celebrate. I am now very pleased to announce the nations who have earned distinguished service medals in this war. Please join me in honoring their achievements. The following nations have earned a Purple Heart and may wear these medals: [img]http://cn-zenith.net/images/albums/ribbons/fheart.png[/img] Purple Heart: Lost more than 50% of Strength, Infra, or Tech Arctic Republic Cholesky Colony of Evergreen Ebokian Empire Horta Matriarchy Ithilien Empire Kzoppistan Llael Manitoulin Nation of Tennessee Organized Chaosia Republic of Regal rodders world Showdown St Albans Terra Obsidian The Keewanaw Union Ulixea Variska The following nations have earned an Iron Cross and may wear these medals: Iron Cross: Lost 25-49% of Strength, Infra, or Tech Alisonnation Alta California Emurlahn Enigmation Manitoulin Oathland Slartibartfast The Dynasty The following nations have earned a Bronze Star and may wear these medals: Bronze Star: Lost 10-24% of Strength, Infra, or Tech Armachia Celduvia United Soviet Rep

But for those that had their valleys earlier, we tried to use those.
