My use of the term 'new' relates to recent trends, whereby when the guns fall silent --- in most cases --- white peace is granted. Extortion is the exception, these days. Not the norm. [/quote] I can't help but point out that this agreement is not one of white peace, but I too am happy that it is usually the case nowadays that those who deserve light terms receive them.
