Blacky
I tend to find that people borrow a lot of their RL persona to make up their CN IC. Things like morality, politics, deciding who to stand by or what you stand for. I know personally my CN character borrows a lot from my RL persona, in fact as far as politics and morality goes I'm pretty much identical. Basically I can find a correlation to all my IC views with my RL ones; except where war is concerned. But then that probably comes from RL wants to make things more interesting. How about you? rabonnobar
Mostly the same. There are differences here and there but they are few and not huge.

Aeternalis
I actually think my IC persona is quite different than my RL one because frankly, I'd be a lot more boring if i didn't change things (usually to a more aggressive nature). Marty McFly
Almost identical, except I'm more outgoing and exclamatory (though thats starting to get into RL) as Marty McFly.
Jipps
I am much more the jerk here than I am in my real life persona.

SpoiL
In a broad overview, little. I am a born again Christian IRL. On CN, I am..well...a Sith. But everyones RL persona takes a large role in their CN character.
Francesca
I try to roleplay Francesca as an extremely moral character, and never to break her ethics. In real life, I hold different political and philosophical stances to Francesca, so not only do I care less about ethics IRL, but I observe a different moral code to her (not to mention that there are some things in Cyber Nations that simply aren't relevant in IRL, like EZI.) Logan
Yeah my RL persona reflects a little bit on my character. Mostly the general not caring about stuff if it doesn't directly affect my friends or I. Also my sarcastic nature also tends to come out in IRC or on the forums. Sileath
What's the point of playing a game if you're just going to act like yourself? I quite enjoy playing the role of Sileath, it's an outlet so that in RL I'm not quite so psychotic.
Gamemaster1
I am 100% RL me. Felt no need to change anything.
Bilrow
None of my RL persona makes up my CN character.
Dochartaigh
Honestly, I would have to say fairly close. I am a bit more bloodthirsty in CN than in RL.
Fallen Fool
Good question. I guess there are some differences. In real life I'm generally less talkative and outgoing them I am online. I tend to also view conflict, and morality very differently when it comes to real life then ingame.
Proxian Empire
I am a far less aggressive person in the real world, hard as that may be to believe.
AirMe
I am fairly the same. I think I am more outgoing in the game. I always try to do the right thing which is pretty much in line with my IC persona. I have always been bad at separation of the 2.
Qaianna
Hard to say for me. Aside from a few comedic posts I've made (not here), I think I'm generally about the same here, personality-wise, as I am in reality. A few things may get exaggerated, but it's hard to tell which one's exaggerating.
Aeternalis
i base my RL persona based on my IC character, actually. I constantly beat the !@#$ out of RL people who don't give me my 50 tech when i pay for it.

Sal Paradise
I'm even more handsome and brilliant in real life.
BamaBuc
About the same, because when I started playing, I didn't think about things like roleplaying. I'm maybe a bit more outgoing here, but I don't roleplay a personality. Obviously some of the "IC ethics" stuff isn't from the RL me. For example, the guy behind my computer doesn't think it's morally wrong to spy on someone in a video game. That would be kind of weird. -Bama
Ebony Wings
Well, let's see... Most of my morals and values (or the lack thereof) transfer from myself to my character, though I think I'm far more provocative and aggressive when I'm in character. The Splash Woman worship is also purely IC, though it's often joked about amongst Oceana's members on IRC. Oh, and I'm reasonably certain that my desire to see the world go up in a blaze of nuclear flames is purely IC.
