[size="6"]On Government Positions[/size] GOONS has always been a proud advocate of the democratic process. We believe in allowing our members to have a say in who represents them to the world at large. At its founding, GOONS made the decision to appoint the majority of its governmental positions until it was large enough to sustain its government properly through an electoral process. Recently, the GOONS Charter was remodeled as a Constitution to reflect a transition towards a more representative approach to government. In accordance with these strong beliefs, we are glad to announce the results of our recent election for the position of GOONS Council. By popular vote, the elected member is: Xodiaen Another recent change to the GOONS government is the retirement of fw as CoPilot. He has been invaluable as second-in-command of GOONS. However he is no longer able to attend to his duties and has stepped down. We are happy to name his appointed successor, Ktarthan. Furthermore, we are pleased to announce the recent appointment of the following governmental positions: [b]Secretariat[/b]: DarkSol [b]Strategos[/b]: Beefspari [b]Sexretariat[/b]: Capnbiggles [b]High War Adjudicator[/b]: DrBeefstupid [b]Raid Auditor[/b]: Archanis [b]Newbie Wrangler[/b]: NikolaP [b]Council[/b]: zsiec PS: Nippy resigned from his position as Strategos, but he's still around and cool as ever.
