MCXA XIX High Council Elections

Hello!!!

Over the last few days,MCXA has held elections for its High Council's 19th term.

For those of you who aren't familiar with how MCXA runs elections I'll give you a brief overview. At each election seven out of the nine High Council positions are up for election:Chancellor,Minister of Defence,Minister of Finance,Minister of Foreign Affairs,Minister of the Interior and both MaLs(Minister-at-Large).In order to win any of the first five in that list,a candidate has to take 50+% of the vote.If this doesn't happen a run-off election takes place between the two candidates who got the most votes. The two winners of the position of MaL are defined as those who get the most votes in that contest.

So to the first round results:

Chancellor

Why did supercoolyellow run for 4 positions? What if he won them all?

Also, did you have the whole alliance vote for each position? If so, that's a rather low turnout.

SCY didn't run for all those positions. We do allow for write in votes.

The turnout for this election was a little below normal.

What would have happened if he won all the positions? :P

Also, good luck with the turnout in the next elections.

Congratulations! Needs more Gopherbashi though.

Trust me, I'm working on it. This government list is already out of date.

@ Lucas: Aside from a week-long stint as MoF two months ago which ended prematurely due to my own sudden disinterest, more or less six months.

Gopher is the hidden sovereign of MCXA, he rules from the shadows of his burrow with an iron BBQ.

I'm amused that Model_b ran for every office and was crushed in every single race.

It would make it worse if he voted for himself :v:

As I was told before, 21% of the electorate voting is apparently 'really good'.

So.. who's the new Minister of Foreign Affairs?

(Needs more Dr. Fresh and Gopher, tho).

The MoFA is not new, he has been at that position for 2 or 3 terms already.

I concur, needs more Gopher & Dr. Fresh!
