comrade nikonov
***Classified to Valencia*** 150,000 men under the FUtSR banner as well as 200,000 men under the Kviyan Rus' have arrived in Valencia via rail. They represent the might of Slavic Europe. Please advise us on what to do with these forces as well as their supporting equipment. As for the FUtSR, the 16th and 17th Air Wings, totaling 36 squadrons of 16 aircraft each as well as 128 UCAVs for each air wing, have arrived as well. They are fully armed. Among them are 34 squadrons of MiG-1.44 Stealth fighters and 2 squadrons of PAK-DA stealth bombers. We cannot engage Italian forces as we are not at war with them, however, these forces are perfectly acceptable for attack on Louisiana. Intelligence data has been forwarded, and FOABs are being loaded into the PAK-DAs.
Uberstein
OOC: Yawoo, since sat's are watching your stuff, can you give an estimate to the number and location of your AA batteries, troops, and where exactly the base is? Also, I assume there aren't that many defenses because you haven't had much time to dig in, but if you've posted otherwise and I missed it, sorry. Mergerberger II
Naval Battle The Dutch fleet's first attack was a success to some extent. However a good enough number of the enemy fleet survived to shoot back at the Dutch fleet. With missiles flying and artillery firing on both sides, the 3 Mirage-class Electronic Warfare Cruisers began to attempt to interfere with Louisianan communications and systems. Every system was active, working to jam communications with satellites and the home front, RADAR, SONAR, as well as communications among the ships themselves. They did this with marvelous efficiency, and the automated control suite on board helped them immensely. More aircraft launched from the five carriers. It was mostly fighters to assist the attack aircraft and divert the attention of the enemy air force so that the attack aircraft could return to the carriers to resupply, refuel, etc. However a few of these aircraft were helicopters. Three of the carriers were Dragon-class carriers, meaning that they could hold up to 48 regular-sized helicopters. One of the carriers held a mere 12 helicopters, however these were Large Helicopters, not smaller ones. These helicopters worked to engage the enemy fleet and fire more missiles for anti-personnel purposes as well as at anti-air defenses aboard the enemy ships. The three Dragon-class carriers were capable of holding over 4,000 smaller missiles, and they both did. Missiles targeted and were fired at enemy fighters and other aircraft, however were also aimed in large groups at enemy anti-missile batteries and anti-air batteries. These missiles were all smaller and did not break into many smaller warheads, so instead they were sent in large groups, 4-8 missiles in a group, to their targets so as to not be intercepted entirely. CIWS batteries on all five aircraft carriers were brought online even prior to the battle, and were now running at full capacity trying to intercept the missiles coming from the enemy guided missile cruisers. Each of the Dragon-class carriers held 70 CIWS batteries. Each held four 20mm weapons. The Dragon-class carriers also carried over fifty torpedo tubes. Each of these held 8 rounds of ammunition. All 38 smaller torpedo tubes fired at the enemy fleet, targeting destroyers and cruisers. Many were expected to reach their targets. The Carriers also, however, had one massive 'secret weapon' that was so large it wasn't exactly a secret. It was a railgun, capable of firing six times before it was out of service. The Carriers positioned themselves so that they could fire the Railcannons directly at the enemy fleet, specifically the two carriers and one of the missile cruisers. All three fired one 10kg round at their target: two carriers and one cruiser. The railcannons could only fire every now and again, so it would be nearly 15 minutes before it was fired again. Because their attack was based entirely on kinetic energy, they had to move extremely fast so as to not lose their target by the time they reached it. They traveled at a speed of over 4,000m/s. Beneath the water, the submarines were not doing to well. Two were lost before they could even move into position and a third once it had. However the remaining two were quite successful in their mission, firing torpedoes specifically at the enemy cruisers. Each held 16 conventional torpedo tubes and 16 vertical tubes, assisting them if the enemy positioned themselves above them. The two submarines were helped by the Electronic Warfare Cruisers through deployment of SONAR decoys to distract and confuse the enemy targeting systems. The fleets were very evenly matched technologically, though the Louisianan fleet had a slight advantage. However the numerical advantage possessed by the Dutch fleet was probably going to win them the battle. Casualties in the initial fighting were tough on the Dutch side. With massive targeting of the carriers by the enemy fleet, one Golden-class carrier was sunk, the other badly damaged, and one Dragon-class carrier would be damaged later in the battle. Because of the massive aircraft capacity of the Dragon-class carriers, they were all capable of handling the aircraft of the incapacitated carriers. The 50 aircraft aboard the Golden-class carriers moved easily onboard the Dragon-class carriers. The Dragon-class carriers were saved in the battle by the large number of CIWS aboard the Dragon-class carriers. It was likely that the small number of CIWS on the Golden-class carriers was what doomed them. The damaged carrier was escorted by a Ridonculous-class Heavy Cruiser to Gibraltar, where it would sit for the rest of the war in port with the Rebel Army (allies). One battleship and one destroyer were sunk, with another of each being forced to head East because of damages. The biggest casualties, however, were suffered by the Air Force that had come to support the Navy. The biggest mistake made by the Dutch Navy was sending out the attack aircraft to assault the enemy fleet unescorted. Over half of the attack aircraft were destroyed by the enemy fleet and air force, and forced the carriers to send out massive amounts of fighters to combat the enemy air force. A number of these were damaged and incapable of flying again (the attack aircraft). On Land Land forces in Northern Scotland had set up defenses quite effectively and were prepared for any invasion of Scotland by any foreign power. They were all supplied and commanded by the Scottish Army, however were still clothed and directly commanded by the Dutch Army. Ironically, the RSSN was supplying the Scottish army through London through supply lines from the Netherlands, meaning that a large number of supplies for the Dutch Army in the Highlands was supplied by the RSSN itself. Machine gun batteries were established and the several ships in the area were running patrol missions. --- The 150,000 soldiers sent to Valencia had arrived, and established defenses along beachheads. Machine gun batteries and barbed wire were set up along strategic beaches, as supplies began to come from Valencia as supply lines from the Netherlands ended. Artillery established itself in range of the beaches, and armor set up behind the infantry lines to support them should invasion come. The Dutch Army was fully prepared to fire on anyone that attempted to invade the beaches. Edited January 16, 2010 by Mergerberger II

DeSchaine
**Private to Valencia** Taeunas stands ready to assist you in your defense. Sitting on various runways are four squadrons each of bombers, attack aircraft and fighters. If you clear our aircraft for your airspace, they can be overhead in less than three hours. **Private to Euskadi** Pending confirmation from Valencia, several squadrons of Taeunas aircraft will be headed there. We are requesting passage through your airspace as the shortest rout of travel. **Movements** The Tyre fighters and Jagatai attack aircraft lifted off first. They would wing their way to Valencia and remain on high alert at the airfields there. The Xerxes bombers took a tad longer, each plane being loaded with 15 of Taeunas' MDLAM-65 Chimera cruise missiles in different variations, for a total of 720 missiles. 300 of the missiles were -65SA or "Scatter Alpha" warheads. Another 300 of the -65SB "Scatter Bravo" type. The last 120 were -65P, a typical ASM made to penetrate even the most hardened of targets and detonate inside via delayed fuse. Otto Verteidiger
The Republic of Finland hereby cuts off communication with all hostile parties. "Why bother talking with people who are shooting at you?" Hmmm. What was said to us once when we ignored Finland... Lovely, they're arrogant too. Glad to see that the respectable leaders of their proud nation can hold up their chin and snub other nations, for it is a valuable skill. Zoot Zoot
That is a perfectly reasonable demand, once we approach the Iberian Coast past portugal going into the straights, we shall drop anchor and await inspection. the manifests will be kept with the captains of each ship. Each ship does have a twenty man security detail but they wont be a problem, they will present themselves in their quarters for inspection. OOC i dnno what an itinerary is so ill just say ive got one

Lavo
"The United Mechodamian States (OOC:EDIT: Fixed) seem to be forgetting one major detail: Norway's half of the straits of Gibraltar remain open to our allies and all whom are willing to acquire transit permits. We are unhappy to see this shift by several nations, yourselves included, in attempting to infringe on Norwegian sovereignty by attempting to close the whole of the straits. We will air this reminder once: Any attempt to stop our ships, military or otherwise, or to close our waters for us, for whatever reason, will be met with, at the least, opposition, and at the most, it will constitute an act of war. That is all." "If you looked at our statements earlier, the Straits have indeed been closed (OOC: I'm going by the world map, it's impossible for me to claim "half" of the Straits, as they are 1 px big.), though any and all Norwegian ships have passage through the Straits." I'm RP'ing them but I don't know much about his country, so when he gets on you or I can ask him about it. Sorry for being so vague. EDIT: Okay, I've talked to Maicke and he says that he needs troops at Cabo de la Nao, so unless he changes something in the deployment amounts, you can put them all around there. If he wants more elsewhere, he has my permission 100% to redeploy them as necessary. Edited January 17, 2010 by Mergerberger II

New Eden hospital ships are already on station doing the work. Your transports run the risk of being sunk by going near the shoreline, and i dont imagine refuegees are swimming 100 miles offshore to get to them.
